ENOWSKI
James Albert Enowski, 53, Eldon, died Sept. 28, 2000, at his home.
He was born August 6, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., a son of Albert and Venita Bond Enowski. His mother survives in Eldon. He was married July 30, 1987, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Bee Proctor, who survives of the home.
A graduate of Eldon High School, he was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eldon and the Eldon V.F.W. Post No. 02442. He was employed with Nuclear Chicago as an electronic technician for 13 years and then farmed in the Eldon and Olean area.
Other survivors include: one stepson, David Brewner, Moberly; two sisters, Mary Williamson, Hallsville, and Joan Harrell, Eolia; two brothers, Gene Enowski, Olean, and Bob Enowski, Russellville; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. James O'Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Garden Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
ADKINS
Anna Lee Adkins, 87, Centertown, died Sept. 30, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1913, in Centralia, a daughter of Ira F. and Mary Elizabeth Roberts Brown. She was married Oct. 24, 1932, in Columbia, to Roy Clifford Adkins, who died in 1992.
A 1931 graduate of Hickman High School, Columbia, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693 Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one son, Don Adkins, Centertown; one sister, Arlene Switzer, Saskatchewan, Canada; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
One son, Roy Kenneth Adkins, died in 1950.
Private family services are planned.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
COOK
J. Lark Cook, 85, California, died Sept. 30, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center, California.
He was born Dec. 11, 1914, near McGirk, a son of Jeptha M. and Rose Spring Cook. He was married April 4, 1936, in Jefferson City, to Martha Louise Pace, who survives in California.
He attended Harlan School. He was a farmer and worked as a corrections officer at the Missouri State Penitentiary. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, McGirk, and served as a church trustee.
He was a board member of the McGirk Farmer's Elevator and president of the McGirk Telephone Exchange.
Other survivors include: one son, Jim Cook, Springfield; one daughter, Sue Gump, California; one brother, Bruce Cook, California; one sister, Myrtle Reichel, California; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
One great-grandson preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lebanon Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Whitney will officiate. Burial will be in McGirk Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

COLLINS
Henry Clay "Hank" Collins Jr., 59, Camdenton, died Sept. 30, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1940, in St. Louis, a son of Henry C. Sr. and Theresa C. Schmidt Collins. He was married to Patricia Collins, who preceded him in death. He was married to Gloria Collins, who survives at the home.
A past resident of St. Louis, he was a 1958 graduate of Roosevelt High School and attended college in Cape Girardeau. He purchased Frontier Properties Real Estate Co., Arnold, in the 1960s and began a lifelong career in real estate and construction.
He founded several construction companies in the Jefferson County area and also owned a sewer company and a land title firm. In 1984, he moved to the Lake area, where he built homes in Camden County. He was a Catholic and past president of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors.
Other survivors include: two sons, David Collins, Imperial, and Allan Cantrell, Camdenton; one brother, Robert Collins, Eureka; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. James Fuemmeler will officiate. Burial will be in Allee Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

FAUST
Cecelia Margaret Faust, 89, Jefferson City, died Sept. 30, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1910, in Old Mines, a daughter of Frank and Elaine Juliet Bourisaw. She was married Oct. 12, 1936, in Columbia, Ill., to William Faust, who died July 15, 1983.
She attended Old Mines schools and worked for Victor Iron Works and the Lewis-Howe Co., St. Louis. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Laundry Workers International Local 108.
Survivors include one daughter, L. Mary Ulm, Jefferson City, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, St. Louis. The Rev. Kenneth Brown will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the March of Dimes.
HAMPTON
James Brown Hampton, 67, Lincoln, formerly of Jamestown, died Sept. 30, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1933, in Jamestown, a son of Elvin and Erma Seitz Hampton. He was married to Judy M. Williams, who died Feb. 13, 2000.
He attended Bethel School and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver and worked for Fordyce Concrete and Houseman Ready Mix until his retirement in 1988.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 541, Kansas City, and VFW Post 4050, North Kansas City.
Survivors include: one son, James R. Hampton, Gower; one daughter, Rebecca Hampton, McLouth, Kan.; one brother, Wayne Hampton, Jamestown; four sisters, Norma Imhoff, Lake Ozark, and Betty Gilmore, Shirley Tripp and Wanda Roark, all of Jefferson City; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Ivan Dameron will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Jamestown.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

MUELLER
Clarence A. Mueller, 93, Jefferson City, died Sept. 29, 2000, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born Oct. 6, 1906, in Jefferson City, a son of Henry J. and Catherine Dulle Mueller. He was married in May 1931, in Jefferson City, to Sophia Bax, who died in November 1941. He was married in April 1960, in Tuscumbia, to Alberta Green Taylor, who died in October 1967. He was married April 20, 1968, in Jefferson City, to Helen Green Williams, who died Feb. 2, 1997.
He attended St. Peters Catholic Schools and served with the Missouri National Guard.
He was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Classic Club. He was a life member and officer for more than 40 years in Musicians Local 217, and a Golden Age Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693.
He worked for Cole County Farmers Co-op Company for 26 years as assistant and then as manager. He owned and operated the Centertown Grain Elevator. He was employed at Hackmann Sound Service from 1951 to 1972, and worked for 17 years as a rural mail carrier.
He was a dance drummer for 36 years with various orchestra bands in Central Missouri. He managed a baseball team in Wardsville and the Eagles Baseball Boys Team.
Survivors include: one son, Thomas J. Mueller, Jefferson City; one stepson, Don Taylor, state of Maryland; one stepdaughter, Yvonne Dallmeyer, Jefferson City; one sister, Henrietta Sturm, Jefferson City; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peters Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Lammers will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Peters Building Fund.
WHITE
Walter "Moose" White , 76, Eldon, died Oct. 1, 2000, in Eldon.
He was born May 29, 1924, in Greencastle, a son of John W. and Cora Mae Jackson White . He was married Oct. 9, 1940, to Mary A. Jones. He was married May 29, 1953, to Ramona Lee Blankenship, who died Jan. 5, 1986.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Colorado Army National Guard. A past resident of Colorado, he was a businessman in the Eldon area. He owned Moose's Teenland, several used car dealerships, antique stores and auctions.
He was president of the Eldon C.B. Club during the 1970s.
Survivors include: six daughters, Carolyne Strange, Betty White and Patty King, all of Eldon, Juanita Julius and Susan Viola, both of Penrose, Colo., and Lori Hees, Rocky Mount; one son, Dennis White , Eldon; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
One son, Walter Henley White Jr., and one daughter, Diana Lee White , preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Dennis White will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
