BOLTEN

Goldie Marie Bolten, 82,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 3, 2000, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born July 12, 1918, in Belle, a daughter of John and Pearl Smith Fowler. She was married July 7, 1976, in Union, to Kenneth G. Bolten, who survives at the home.

She attended schools in Belle and was a homemaker. She was employed in the housekeeping departments at the Hotel Governor and the Missouri Hotel.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Other survivors include two sisters, Margie Voss and Lucille Engelbrecht, both of  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Greg Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund.

SMITH

Fred M. Smith, 75, Bonnots Mill, died Oct. 3, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born April 29, 1925, in Richwoods, W. Va., a son of Arthur and Eula Barnett Smith. He was married Feb. 12, 1973, in the Panama Canal Zone, to Susan J. Owens, who survives at the home.

A Bonnots Mill resident since 1986, he was a teacher and coach. He lived, taught and coached in the Panama Canal Zone for 18 years, retiring in 1986.

He graduated from high school in Richwoods. He received a bachelor's degree from Huron College and a master's degree from Ohio State University. A Navy veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Pearl of the West Masonic Lodge 146, New Port Richie, Fla.; was past Worshipful Master of Lodge 146; was a member of Balboa, Panama Canal Scottish Rite; and a member of Abou Saad Shrine Temple, Panama Canal.

Other survivors include: one son, Fred M. Smith Jr., Golden, Colo.; three brothers, Charles Smith, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Eugene Smith, Summersville, W. Va., and Kenneth Smith, Bradenton, Fla.; four sisters, Mary Louis Stewart, Williamstown, W. Va., Freda Coffeen, Hilliard, Ohio, Bernice Hutchison, Washington Court House, Ohio, and Geraldine Wease, Monticello, Ga.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Help Church, Frankenstein. The Rev. George Kramer will officiate. Private burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Help Church, Frankenstein.

DINWIDDIE

Jeremy Joe Dinwiddie, 19, Eldon, died Oct. 3, 2000, in Eldon.

He was born Nov. 6, 1980, in Columbia, a son of Sharon Witt. His mother survives at the home.

He attended Dogwood Hills State School.

Other survivors include, one brother, Johnny Joe Witt, Lake Ozark, and one maternal grandmother, Mary Witt, Eldon.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Eldon City Cemetery. Jim Kruse will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice.

FRILEY

Sandra K. Friley, 56, New Bloomfield, died Oct. 5, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born July 7, 1944, in Pittsburg, Pa., a daughter of Andrew and Laura C. Sanders Maken. She was married Sept. 14, 1968, in Fulton, to John W. Friley, who survives at the home.

She was a graduate of Hiawatha High School, Hiawatha, Kan. A resident of Central Missouri since 1968, she was employed as title administrator with the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association for 17 years. She owned and operated Friley Title Service since 1978.

She was secretary-treasurer with the  Jefferson City Babe Ruth Baseball League for 17 years.

Other survivors include: one son, Ryan T. Friley, St. Charles; one brother, Walt Maken, Dayton, Ohio; and one grandson.

One son, Bradley S. Friley, died April 21, 1992.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the Bradley Friley Memorial Junior Golf Program Fund at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

FULKS

Floyd Fulks, 62, Latham, died Oct. 3, 2000, near Latham.

He was born Dec. 24, 1937, near Latham, a son of Harold and Faye Arlene Leonard Fulks. He was married June 9, 1957, to Rosella Garber, who survives at the home.

He worked in the parts department at Henry Tractor Company and Crown Power and Equipment, California. A farmer, he was a member of the Missouri Cattleman's Association and the Pilot Grove Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: one son, Chuck Fulks, Tipton; one daughter, Rita Lawson, Sedalia; one brother, Loyd Fulks, California; two sisters, Arletta Bolinger, California, and Judy Faye Oehrke, Blue Springs; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Kevin Blackburn will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, near Latham.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

HALL

Stanley Keith Hall, 51, Milwaukee, formerly of Holts Summit, died Oct. 4, 2000, in Holts Summit.

He was born April 13, 1949, in St. Louis, a son of J.W. and Helen Lucille Norton Hall. His parents survive in Holts Summit.

He was a graduate of  Jefferson City High School and attended the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1971 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

He was employed by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. He attended the Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Jennifer Diane Hall, Milwaukee, Lisa Elaine Wall, Great Lakes, Ill., and Daria Leeann Hall, Austin, Texas ; one brother, Larry D. Hall, Fulton; and one sister, Kathy E. Hyder, Clinton.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist Church. The Rev. Monte Shinkle will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, New Bloomfield.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Educational Fund at Rufus King High School, 1801 Olive St., Milwaukee, Wis..

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

ELLIS

Theron Ellis, 95, Vienna, died Oct. 5, 2000, at Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna.

He was born Oct. 30, 1904, in Maries County, a son of Judson and Addie Parker Ellis. He was married March 28, 1926, in Vienna, to Lillian Juergens, who died Feb. 24, 1988.

He was a member of Iberia United Church of Christ. He taught in rural Maries County and drove a school bus. He worked for the Agriculture Department for 25 years and was a lifelong farmer in Maries County.

Survivors include: one son, Harland Ellis, Dixon; two daughters, Norma Dake, Vienna, and Louise French, Dixon; one sister, Bertha Brown, Iberia; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate. Burial will be in Crismon Cemetery, near Dixon.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to Crismon Cemetery.

FORCK

Sabena Helen Forck, 93, Taos, died Oct. 5, 2000, at Westphalia Retirement Center.

She was born Nov. 5, 1906, in Cole County, a daughter of Henry and Mary Talken Kerperin. She was married Nov. 26, 1931, in Taos, to Cletus B. Forck, who died Oct. 15, 1967.

She attended Taos schools. She was a homemaker and dairy farmer, co-owning High Hill Dairy Farm.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, and a past member of the Cole County Extension Club and St. Ann's Sodality. She was active in starting the Older Adult Transportation Service in the Taos area.

Survivors include: three sons, Franklin H. "Jack" Forck,  Jefferson City, William L. "Bill" Forck, Benton, and Mike "Pee Wee" Forck, Taos; three daughters, Mary Lee Bax, Wardsville, Betty Sue Klebba, Salt Lake City, and Darlene "Dada" Reed,  Jefferson City; 22 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home,  Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 6:15 p.m. Additional visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cole County Extension Building Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.

JOHNSON

Noma "Dee" Johnson, 55, Brumley, died Oct. 4, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Jan. 21, 1945, in Brumley, a daughter of James R. and Alta Brown Johnson. Her mother survives in Brumley.

She was a cook for 28 years for the Kirkwood Lodge, Osage Beach.

Other survivors include one brother, George Johnson, Brumley, and two sisters, Gladys Johnson, Brumley, and Wilma Rains, Ellington.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach. Burial will be in Boltz Cemetery, Brumley.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
