KRAMER
Roberta Lynn Kramer, 40, Jefferson City, died Oct. 5, 2000, near Jefferson City.
She was born April 26, 1960, in Boone County, a daughter of Sonny Adair and Willa Nichols. Her mother, Willa Turner, survives in Bonnots Mill. Her father and stepmother, Sonny and Ann Adair, survive in Fulton. Her stepfather, Charles Turner, survives in Russellville.
She attended Jefferson City High School. She was employed by Scholastic Inc. since 1987, having recently been promoted to supervisor.
Other survivors include: two sons, Nicholas Scott Kramer and Bradley Alan Kramer, both of Jefferson City; one daughter, Ashley Lynn Kramer, Jefferson City; two brothers, Charles C. Turner, Brazil, Ind., and Robert Lee Turner, Carlsbad, N.M.; and two sisters, Ramona Curry, Etterville, and Clesta Carol Gilmore, Bonnots Mill.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, near Ashland.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the Roberta Kramer Children's Educational Fund or the Rape and Abuse Crisis Service.
MEYER
Wilson Kent Meyer, 44, Washington , died Oct. 4, 2000.
He was born July 3, 1956, in Jefferson City, a son of William "Bill" and Marguerite Wilson Meyer. His mother survives in Mokane. He was married Sept. 17, 1977, in Linn, to Rita Backes, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of South Callaway R-2 School, Mokane, and Linn Technical College, Linn. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Washington , the Washington Masonic Lodge and the Pipe Fitters Union, Local 562.
He was a Boy Scout leader.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Jamie Meyer, of the home; one son, William Meyer, of the home; two brothers, Charles Meyer and Bruce Meyer, both of Mokane; and two sisters, Sue Crisp, Geneseo, Ill., and Carla Meyer, Eugene.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Methodist Church, Linn. Burial will be in Linn.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Nieburg and Vitt Funeral Home, Washington , with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
MUELLER
Donald R. Mueller, 64, Jefferson City, died Oct. 5, 2000, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1935, in Jefferson City, a son of Richard W. and Regina T. Walther Mueller. He was married Dec. 30, 1959, in Eldon, to Mary Sue Dulle, who survives at the home.
He was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, he owned and operated Don Mueller Construction Co.
He was a lifelong member of Central United Church of Christ, where he served on several church boards and the Brotherhood of Central United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club, the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5 and Central Missouri Building Industries Association.
He volunteered with Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri, Clarke Senior Center and River City Habitat for Humanity. He built the inaugural stand for several Missouri governor's inaugurations.
Other survivors include: three sons, Kurtis L. Mueller and Mark A. Mueller, both of Jefferson City, and Tim I. Mueller, Columbia; one daughter, Kay L. Haarmann, Jefferson City; five sisters, Irma Bagnull and Shirley Sieg, both of Jefferson City, Venita Tuggle, Royce City, Texas , Evelyn Hawkins, Nacogdoches, Texas , and Carol Ray, Canton, Texas ; two brothers, Ralph Mueller and David Mueller, both of Jefferson City; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Central United Church of Christ. The Rev. Stephen Buchholz will officiate. Private burial will be on the Mueller family farm in Cole County.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to the Central United Church of Christ youth programs, Clarke Senior Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.
WEINZETTEL
Elmer Weinzettel, 83, Jefferson City, died Oct. 4, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Feb. 10, 1917, in St. Louis. He was married to Alma Mary Annau, who died Feb. 9, 1988.
He attended Freemount Grade School, St. Louis. He was a supervisor with the Carpenter's Union from 1948 to 1978. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion Post 5 and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dixie Lee Mitchell, Jefferson City; one son, Gary Weinzettel, state of Tennessee; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Brendan Doyle will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Jefferson City.
EGGERS
Enos E. Eggers, 91, Jefferson City, died Oct. 5, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
Arrangements are at Freeman Mortuary.
PAXSON
Kyle Andrew Paxson, 7, Camdenton, died Oct. 5, 2000, at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Nov. 25, 1992, in Amberg, Germany, a son of Michael W. and Marsha Jo Price Paxson. His mother survives at the home. His father survives in Wamego, Kan.
He attended kindergarten in Ozark and Dogwood Elementary School, Camdenton. He was a member of the Camdenton Church of the Nazarene.
Other survivors include: two half-brothers, Christopher Michael Legler, Greenfield, Ind., and Michael Paxson, Springfield; one half-sister, Jessica Lynn Legler, Greenfield; maternal grandparents, James Bradley and Sharon Delight Price, both of Tennessee; paternal grandfather, Michael Paxson, Sparta; and paternal grandmother, Juanita Adams, Strafford.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Camdenton First Baptist Church. Pastor O'Neal Loetscher will officiate. Burial will be in Dishman Cemetery, Strafford.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Memorials are suggested to the Camden County Deputy Sheriff Association.
McDOWELL
Services were Sunday for Georgia McDowell, 70, Richland, who died Oct. 5, 2000, in Lebanon.
She was born May 17, 1930, in Tuscumbia, a daughter of George and Carrie Wright Cotten. She was married to Leonard McDowell, who survives in Brumley.
She was a homemaker and a member of Honey Springs Baptist Church, Brumley.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Wehrli, Lebanon; two sons, Hershel McDowell, Waynesville, and Earl McDowell, Brumley; one brother, Raymond Cotten, Hanover, Pa.; three sisters, Vernie Sechrest, Eldon, Burma Brown, Jefferson City, and Edna Presson, Florissant; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Herbert Baker officiated. Burial was in Tol Wood Cemetery, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
STOVER
Irene E. Stover, 80, Chatsworth, Ill., died Oct. 7, 2000, at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac, Ill.
She was born May 23, 1920, in Aroma Park, Ill., a daughter of John F. and Cora B. Albright Swan. She was married in 1938 to John Taylor, who survives. She was married to Orville R. Stover, who died Nov. 22, 1981.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Wanda Jones, Holts Summit, and Juanita Joy Meade, Fort Mitchell, Ala.; four sons, Richard L. Stover and Roy D. Stover, both of Chatsworth, Ill., and Raymond E. Stover and Ralph E. Stover, both of Pontiac, Ill.; five stepchildren; one sister, May Peppins, Kankakee, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
One daughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Chatsworth. The Rev. Steve Kettlekamp will officiate. Burial will be in Chatsworth Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hager Memorial Home, Chatsworth.
NICHOLS
Cecil Nichols, 76, Moberly died Oct. 8, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
He was born March 28, 1924, in Jefferson City, a son of Elwood and Lonnie Robinett Nichols. He was married Dec. 12, 1947, in St. Louis, to Ann Louise Bulcok, who died July 17, 1993. He was married May 6, 1995, in Moberly, to Mary Lou Jeffrey, who survives at the home.
He was a plumber in the St. Louis area, and was a plumbing inspector for St. Louis County for 15 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church, Henley.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Debbie Newcomb, Moberly; four sons, Michael Nichols and Bill Nichols, both of Jefferson City, Jeff Nichols, Gravois Mills, and Glenn Nichols, Moberly; two stepdaughters, Kay Wright, Columbia, and Leslie Dlugosch, Spencer, Iowa; three stepsons, Jeffrey Thordarson and David Thordarson, both of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Carl Thordarson, Columbia; two sisters, Eva Mae Wingfield and Eunice Hoskins, both of St. Louis; four brothers, Wilburn Nichols, Eldon, Vernon Nichols, Jefferson City, Bob Nichols, Montgomery City, and Fred Nichols, state of Texas ; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
One daughter, Dorothy Anderson, one stepson, Paul Thordarson, and three granddaughters preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Cecil Nichols Memorial Fund.
FENNEWALD
The location of visitation for Chris H. Fennewald, 93, Westphalia, who died Oct. 9, 2000, has been changed.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
