WALTHER
Services were Oct. 3 for Agnes Marie Walther, 73, Vienna, Va., formerly of Jefferson City, who died Sept. 29, 2000, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1927, in Jefferson City, a daughter of William and Elizabeth Bellman Rackers. She was married to Wilbur Walther, who survives at the home.
A graduate of St. Peter High School, she worked as a cashier for Missouri Power and Light Co. In 1957, she moved to the northern Virginia area. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Vienna, Va., where she belonged to the women of OLGC group helping with senior citizen programs.
She was active with Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Counsel Women's Auxiliary.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Paula Tsai, Hanover, N.H., Deborah Rohloff, McLean, Va., Linda Cashion, Charlotte, N.C., and Mary McCune, Germantown, Md.; four sons, John Walther, Winchester, Va., Ronald Walther, Mechanicsville, Va., Thomas Walther, Groton, Conn., and Mark Walther, Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, Clifford Rackers and Raymond Rackers, both of Jefferson City; one sister, Georgia Rackers, Jefferson City; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial was in Fairfax Memorial Park.

GOFF
Julia Ann Huckstep Goff, 63, Jefferson City, died Nov. 2, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Clibourn H. and Hildegarde Ossman Schulte. She was married Oct. 29, 1971, in Jefferson City, to Gene Marlin Goff, who survives at the home.
She was a 1955 graduate of St. Peter's High School and a 1995 graduate of Lincoln University with a degree in sociology.
In 1981 she retired from being a hearing transcriber for the reporting department of the Public Service Commission. She worked for the division of insurance, attorney general's office, division of welfare and the state service office.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Immaculate Conception Church Circle, St. Ann's Sodality, Daughters of Isabella, Cherry Street Workers, National Foundations of the Blind of Jefferson City and the Praesidium of Our Lady of Fatima of the Legion of Mary.
During the flood of 1993 she served as the treasurer of the Capital City Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Other survivors include: two sons, Peter G. Huckstep, Albion, N.Y., and John C. Huckstep, Jefferson City; one daughter, Gina G. Goff, Los Angeles; two sisters, Sister Barbara Schulte, Englewood, Colo., and Susan Schulte, Littleton, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 p.m. Monday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Tim Tatro will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, the National Diabetes Association or the National Federation of the Blind.
MEIER
Henry Andrew Meier, 90, Pleasant Valley, died Nov. 1, 2000, at Pleasant Valley Manor.
He was born Dec. 13, 1909, in Climax Springs, a son of Henry H. and Pearlie M. Stewart Meier. He was married May 4, 1932, to Zoie Jewell Jackson, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated the Apco Station and Garage, Climax Springs.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Zoan Bruynell, Pleasant Valley, and Bonnie Melton, Olathe, Kan.; two brothers, William Meier, Kansas City, and Dee Meier, Dumas, Texas ; one sister, Lillie Newberry, Fritch, Texas ; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Drennon Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Larwick will officiate. Burial will be in Granger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Liberty Hospital Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
WAGNER
Catherine R. "Kay" Wagner, 62, Columbia, died Nov. 2, 2000, in Columbia.
She was born April 5, 1938, in Clayton County, Iowa, a daughter of William and Frances Eilers Curran.
She worked as Columbia Regional Airport Manager until retirement in 1998. She was a member of the Newman Center.
Survivors include: one son, Doug Wagner, St. Louis; three daughters, Lucinda Buescher, Springfield, Ill., Pam Waggoner, Jefferson City, and Jennifer Wagner, Columbia; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Newman Center. The Rev. Mark Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 33 East Broadway, Suite 100, Columbia.
RIDNOUR
Gail Lynn Ridnour, 41, New Bloomfield, died Nov. 2, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born July 11, 1959, in Ft. Bragg, N.C., a daughter of Lester and Edna Craig Epperson. Her parents survive in Maricopa, Ariz. She was married Aug. 1, 1977, in Conway, Iowa, to Fred Ridnour, who survives at the home.
She was employed at Wal-Mart, Jefferson City. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Guthrie.
Other survivors include two sons, Tim Ridnour and David Ridnour, both of the home, and one sister, Renee Elsworth, Glendale, Ariz.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Munford will officiate.

WELSH
Lois Anne Welsh, 72, Auxvasse, died Nov. 3, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1928, in St. Louis, a daughter of Lester and Bess Watt Baetz. She was married to Sherwood Craghead. She was married to Maurice Welsh, who survives at the home.
She was a member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church, Auxvasse. She was a graduate of Fulton High School. She worked at the Shoe Factory, Fulton, and the Security Bank, Auxvasse. She owned Shan Anne Persians.
Other survivors include one son, Larry Craghead, Auxvasse.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. John Foley will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Garden, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
RANKIN
Elma Mae "Butch" Adams Rankin, 91, Hampstead, N.C., formerly of Barnett, died Sept. 25, 2000, in Hampstead.
She was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Jasper County, a daughter of Will and Susan Adams. She was married to John R. "Jack" Rankin who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Carol Chanowsky, Hampstead; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Versailles Cemetery. The remains were cremated under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
HEILMANN
Odilia Maria Heilmann, 88, Jefferson City, died Nov. 2, 2000, in Jefferson City.
She was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Elsas, Lorraine, France, a daughter of Jacob and Anna Clara Hiller Schweigerath.
Survivors include: one son, Norbert V. Heilmann, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one daughter, Ilona Johnson, Jefferson City; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
DAMERON
The Rev. Ivan L. Dameron, 86, California, died Nov. 3, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, California.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church Life Center, California.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
NEWKIRK
Richard F. Newkirk, 67, California, died Nov. 2, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born April 21, 1933, in California, a son of Charles W. and Rosa Althoff Newkirk. He was married Dec. 24, 1951, in Harrison, Ark., to Alice Louise Dunham, who survives at the home.
He was a correctional officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections for 18 years, retiring in 1995. He was a charter member of Eagles Aerie 4027, California, and he attended California High School.
Other survivors include: two sons, Guy Newkirk and Michael Newkirk, both of California; four daughters, Brenda McGinnis and Donna Donley, both of California, Debbie Taylor, Eldon, and Lisa Kindle, Jefferson City; three sisters, Geneva Albin, Alma Hoellering and Betty Croy, all of California; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at California City Cemetery. The Rev. Rusty Thomas and the Rev. Gerald Taylor will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 2600 I-70 Drive N.W., Columbia.
