KISTE
June Louise Kiste, 70, Sunrise Beach, died Nov. 8, 2000, at Osage Beach Health Care Center.
She was born June 19, 1930, in Verona, Pa., a daughter of Louis and Lena Trettel Kiste.
She owned and operated a restaurant.
Survivors include two nephews, Haward Remmick and Dennis Remmick, both of Cortland, Ohio.
Services will be in Ohio at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
EARL
Judy Lee Earl, 56, New Bloomfield, died Nov. 7, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital, Livingston, Tenn.
She was born July 15, 1944, in Columbia, a daughter of Louie and L. Opal Thompson Barnett. Her mother, L. Opal Barnett Mallicoat survives in New Bloomfield. She was married July 3, 1983, in Jefferson City, to Robert Lee Earl, who survives at the home.
She attended schools in Mokane and in Florida. She was a homemaker and had been employed as a clerk at Casey's General Store, St. Martins. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Mark Allen Bedford, New Bloomfield; one daughter, Geneva Diane Pierson, New Bloomfield; five brothers, Jessy Barnett, Ronnie Barnett, Delmine Barnett, Delbert Barnett and David Barnett, all of St. James; four sisters, Roxie Gray, Arkansas, and Darlene Matlock, Geri Barnett and Velda Kossuth, all of St. James; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Tinsley, who died Sept. 18, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Don Munford will officiate. Burial will be in National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
WITTE
Edgar L. Witte, 81, Stover, died Nov. 9, 2000, at his home.
Arrangements are at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.
GESSLING
Eva M. English Gessling, 86, Linn, died Nov. 10, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
Arrangements are at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.
SEIDEL
Jerome "Jerry" V. Seidel, 82, Ashland, died Nov. 9, 2000, at Ashland Healthcare.
He was born Aug. 29, 1912, in St. Louis, a son of Harry V. and Ruth Pearl Lightcap Seidel. He was married Aug. 28, 1943, in St. Louis, to Kathryn Kalert Seidel, who survives in Ashland.
He was a sales representative for maintenance and sanitary supply manufacturing companies. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Columbia. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: one son, John Seidel, Salt Lake City; one daughter, Joan Seidel Petralia, Ashland; and one brother, Alfred Seidel, Warson Woods.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Crestwood. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Affton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Bopp Funeral Home, Kirkwood.

TAYLOR
Roland Jefferson Taylor, 84, Osage Beach, died Nov. 9, 2000, in Osage Beach.
He was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Kansas City, a son of Charley R. and Nellie J. Tucker Taylor.
He was a laborer for International Paper Company, Kansas City, Kan. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: one daughter, Carol Taylor, Kansas City; two sons, Larry Taylor and Garry Taylor, both of Oklahoma; one brother, Ernest Taylor, Olean; and several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan. Ralph Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Greenridge Cemetery.
CLARK
John J. Clark, 85, Sunrise Beach, died Nov. 10, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born Sept. 23, 1915, in St. Louis, a son of David F. and Mary Williams Clark. He was married June 14, 1939, in Florissant, to Isabelle M. Aubuchon, who survives at the home.
He was a retired equipment operator from LaClede Gas in St. Louis. He was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Laurie, the Knights of Columbus, and the Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705, Laurie.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Laurie. The Rev. Fred J. Barnett will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel, Laurie, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
GROSS
Irene Gross, 83, California, died Nov. 11, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Moniteau County near Clarksburg, a daughter of John R. and Dollie Bonnie Suggs. She was married April 11, 1939, to George Gross, who died in 1995.
She was a homemaker and retired from Cargill Inc. in 1976. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Clarksburg.
Survivors include: two sons, Frank Gross, Byron, Ga., and David Gross, Tipton; two stepsons, Denver Gross and Alonzo "Mack" Gross, both of Tipton; two daughters, Georgia "Fern" Jones, California, and Joan Jones, Stover; two stepdaughters, Marie Phenix, Warrensburg, and Verna Brownfield, Centertown; two sisters, Josephine Parker, Clarksburg, and Nancy Bolinger, St. Louis; 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Elbert Roy Gross, in 1955, and one daughter, Mary Frances Lawrence, in 1998; one great-grandson, Jason McClelland, in 1990; three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. The Rev. Roy Sparks will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

HOLMAN
Linda S. Holman, 53, Holts Summit, died Nov. 10, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1947, in Springfield, a daughter Homer and Lucille Gilmore Bruer. Her mother, Lucille Reimler, survives in Holts Summit. She was married Sept. 14, 1968, in Springfield, to James C. Holman, who survives at the home.
A resident of the Jefferson City area for the past 30 years, she was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was employed as a clerk-typist with the Missouri Department of Workmens Compensation. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Teresa L. Self, Nashville, Tenn., and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Freeman Chapel. The Rev. John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday.

HOLZBIERLEIN
Ruthilene Holzbierlein, 70, Russellville, died Nov. 10, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Eldon, a daughter of Gail F. and Cecil O. Son Smith. She was married Sept. 29, 1951, near Olean, to Clyde L. Holzbierlein, who died Aug. 25, 1998.
She was a 1947 graduate of Eldon High School. She worked with her husband on their farm and was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and flower gardening. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two sons, William Clyde Holzbierlein, Jefferson City, and Lyle Lee Holzbierlein, Russellville; two sisters, Ruby Laurie and Juanita Rogers, Eldon; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Revs. Alan Earls and Nancy Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
