BLANK
Darryl Lee Blank, 61, Hartsburg, died Dec. 3, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born June 25, 1939, in Cedar City, a son of Marvin and Clara Kretschmar Blank. He was married July 23, 1995, in Jefferson City, to Doris Mueller, who survives at the home.
He attended Jefferson City High School and was an Army veteran. He was a fireman with the Jefferson City Fire Department from 1972 until his retirement in 1997 as a driver.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693 and a past member of the United Sportsman's Club.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Lesley Ann Blank, New Bloomfield, and Sara Elizabeth Everson, Arvada, Colo.; four stepsons, Matthias McManus, Mexico, Thomas McManus, Columbia, Robert McManus, Roto, Spain, and James McManus, Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Karl Blank, Hartsburg, Doug Blank, Silom Springs, Ark., and Richard Blank, Florence, S.C.; four grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
BARNHART
Mabel Ella Barnhart, 95, St. Elizabeth, died Dec. 1, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1905, in Meta, a daughter of Rudolph and Sarah Ann Seaton Ripka. She was married April 4, 1922, in Maries County, to Oda Barnhart, who died Aug. 4, 1994.
She was a homemaker and farmed in the Van Cleve community. She was a member of Campground Christian Church, near Van Cleve.
Survivors include: one grandson, Larry Barnhart, Dixon; one granddaughter, Paula Hughes, Dixon; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Mural Barnhart, who died at birth, and Kelles Earl Barnhart, who died in 1981; and one grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Meta. The Rev. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Burial will be in Stokes Cemetery, near Meta.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
LOOTEN
Lula Abbie Looten, 85, Jefferson City, died Dec. 1, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 18, 1915, in Sullivan County, a daughter of John F. and Carrie L. Armstrong Norvel. She was married in Jefferson City to Edwin Looten, who preceded her in death.
A 1932 graduate of Training High School, Warrensburg, she attended Central Missouri State College. She was employed at the Missouri Department of Corrections and the Missouri Division of Motor Vehicles.
She was a member of First Christian Church; past matron of Jefferson Chapter 496, Order of the Eastern Star; and a member of Eugene Chapter 386, Order of the Eastern Star. She had volunteered more than 20,000 hours of service at Capital Region Medical Center.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services, including Eastern Star Rites, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry R. Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
MARSH
Geraldine G. Marsh, 87, Versailles, died Dec. 1, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born April 27, 1913, in the state of Texas . She was married in August 1994 to Joe Marsh, who survives at the home.
She was a realtor until her retirement, and a member of Gravois Baptist Church, Gravois Mills.
The remains were cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
HAVLIK
George F. Havlik, 88, Tebbetts, died Dec. 3, 2000, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
He was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Chicago, a son of Fred and Filomenia Nevida Havlik. He was married Sept. 14, 1940, in Berwyn, Ill., to Henrietta Tichy, who survives at the home.
He was a 1930 graduate of Harrison High School, Chicago, and a 1934 graduate of DePaul University, Chicago, with a bachelor's degree in law.
He worked at Caspers Tin Plate/Ball Brothers, Chicago, as lithographer and foreman for 37 years.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Carol Adamik, Tebbetts, and Georgiana Cullison, Spring Grove, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Holts Summit, with a eulogy at 7 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
NICHOLS
Audrey Orleen Miller Nichols, 80, Jefferson City, died Dec. 4, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born May 7, 1920, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Augustin and Myrtle Stone Miller. She was married Aug. 3, 1941, to James Nelson Nichols, who died Oct. 16, 1965.
A 1938 graduate of Jefferson City High School, she worked for the Missouri Dental Board for 17 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church and the American Business Women's Association.
Survivors include: two sons, James N. Nichols Jr., Jefferson City, and Thomas C. Nichols, St. Louis; one daughter, Donna Chevallier, Libertyville, Ill.; one brother, Raymond S. Miller, Citress Heights, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
One granddaughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Lawrence Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

GYNGARD
Robert Clark Gyngard, 88, Columbia, formerly of Steedman, died Dec. 3, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born March 15, 1912, in Evening Shade, Ark., a son of James and Hattie Coyle Linsey. He was married April 20, 1935, in Monette, Ark., to Lucille Flagg, who died June 5, 1993.
He was a member of Reform Baptist Church and UAW Local 325. He was employed as a hoist lift operator for Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include: two daughters, Dona Jett, Fulton, and Agnes Ann Hockensmith, Columbia; two sons, James Bruce Gyngard, Fulton, and Calvin Gyngard, Steedman; one sister, Agnes Ransom, Fairdealing; one half sister, Doscha Ehoff, St. Charles; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
One son, Rudy Gyngard, and one daughter, Barbara Gyngard, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Raymond McCallister will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
LINSENBARDT
Karl Thomas Linsenbardt, 19, Lohman, died Dec. 4, 2000, in Warrensburg from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 8, 1980, in Jefferson City, a son of Thomas L. and Inge Ehrlich Linsenbardt. His father survives in Lohman. His mother survives in Jefferson City.
A 1999 graduate of Russellville High School, he was a sophomore at Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, majoring in aviation.
He worked part time at Hy-Vee Food Store, Jefferson City, and he was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Kurt Paul Linsenbardt and Hans Robert Linsenbardt, both of Lohman; paternal grandparents, Rupert and Corine Linsenbardt, Lohman; and maternal grandmother, Hedwig Ehrlich, Palm Desert, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Alvin Lange and the Rev. Tony Alter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Lohman.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Faith Lutheran Church.
RICHARDSON
Thomas J. Richardson, 77, O'Fallon, Ill., formerly of Linn, died Dec. 4, 2000, at O'Fallon Health Care Center.
He was born Aug. 15, 1923, in East St. Louis, Ill., a son of Frederick V. and Katherine Masterson Richardson. He was married to Eunice Richardson, who preceded him in death. He was married to Mildred Higdon, who survives in Fairview Heights, Ill.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked on the assembly line at General Motors Corp. for 30 years until his retirement in 1982. He was a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol in the state of Illinois.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Sherry L. Dauer, Fairview Heights, and Diana L. Lampe, Cahokia, Ill.; one brother, Donald W. Richardson, Maryland Heights; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Paul Hartley will officiate. Burial will be in Useful Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.
