HALL
Ruby E. Hall, 77, Sunrise Beach, died Dec. 17, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born April 21, 1923, in Pettis County, a daughter of William S. Sr. and Anna S. Stephens Bolten. She was married Dec. 22, 1946, in Sedalia, to James Hall, who survives at the home.
She was a member of the Lake Presbyterian Church, Osage Beach. She worked as an accounting officer with Safeway Stores, Kansas City, and a medical office manager. She was a graduate of the San Francisco Business College.
Other survivors include: one son, Ron Whitehead, Rantoul, Kan.; one daughter, Jameille Narans, Climax Springs; two brothers, William S. Bolton Jr., Friendship, Wis., and Larry Bolton Sr., Knob Noster; one sister, Betty Joan Fry, Otterville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Presbyterian Church. Pastor Don Ruthenberg will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Presbyterian Church.
HOOIBRINK
Ruby Jane Hooibrink, 78, Hartsburg, died Dec. 19, 2000, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1922, in Lawrenceville, Ill., a daughter of Harry and Ruby Gordon Burbank. She was married June 13, 1942, in Chicago, to Fred Hooibrink, who survives at the home.
She was a registered nurse. She worked for Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia, and the Southern Boone County School System, Ashland, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Hartsburg.
Other survivors include: one son, Mark Andrew Hooibrink, Hartsburg; one daughter, Kathleen Jane Snow, North Port, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. Pastor Steve Miller and the Rev. James Lee McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

LANDRETH
Jessica Rae Landreth, 14, Brumley, died Dec. 17, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Feb. 16, 1986, in Osage Beach, a daughter of Charles R. "Bob" and Karen Huddleston Landreth, who survive at the home.
She attended School of the Osage until the eighth grade and then Heartland Christian Academy Home School, where she was an honor roll student.
She attended Honey Springs Baptist Church, near Brumley.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Eric Robert Landreth and Caleb Ryan Landreth, both of the home; one sister, Hilary Renee Landreth, of the home; maternal grandparents, Don and Dorsie Huddleston, Brumley; and step paternal grandfather Wilber Coleson, St. Elizabeth.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. Rick Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery, near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.

URNESS
Andrew A. Urness, 73, Versailles, died Dec. 17, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Kansas City, a son of Tom and Marie Roberts Urness. He was married June 30, 1948, to Ina Willis, who survives at the home.
He worked at the General Motors Fairfax Plant, Kansas City, retiring in 1980.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the United Auto Worker's Local 31.
Other survivors include: three sons, Steven V. Urness, Dan M. Urness and Andrew D. Urness, all of Kansas City; three daughters, Andrea L. Holzclaw and Anne L. Cogndon, both of Kansas City, and Loretta I. Maxie, Alcoa, Tenn.; one brother, Jim Urness, Harrisonville; one sister, Mary Jo Netherton, Smithville; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Cremation will follow.
HELMING
Stanley E. Helming, 66, Jefferson City, died Dec. 18, 2000, at Capital Health Care Center.
He was born April 2, 1934, in Gasconade County, a son of Henry and Grace Carwile Helming.
He attended Jefferson City public schools and was a lifelong resident of Central Missouri. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, receiving two Bronze Stars.
He owned and operated Helming Tree Service until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5.
Survivors include: three daughters, Jackie Kindell, Cairo, Patty Pappas, Holts Summit, and Mary Jo Hartley, Russellville; two brothers, Jim Helming, Jefferson City, and Dennis Helming, New Bloomfield; two sisters, Betty Reinkemeyer, Argyle, and Judy Helming, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. John Kerr will officiate. Graveside services with military honors will be in Longview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans.
PHILBERT
Elroy J. Philbert, 80, Holts Summit, died Dec. 18, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 29, 1920, in St. Joseph, a son of William J. and Mattie M. Franklin Philbert. He was married to Catherine R. Binggeli, who survives at the home.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: four sons, Donald Philbert, David Philbert and James Philbert, all of Jefferson City, and Gary Philbert, Holts Summit; one daughter, Mary Carlton, Holts Summit; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One infant daughter, Rita A. Philbert, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Hazel Bonine will officiate. Burial will be in Cadet Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice.
BULLOCK
Clarence L. "Buck" Bullock, 70, Gravois Mills, died Dec. 18, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Platte County, a son of Clarence and Nannie Lee Asher Bullock. His mother survives in Platte Woods. He was married Jan. 14, 1950, to Gloria Smoot, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated Bullock Excavating and Construction, Gravois Mills. He was a charter member of West Lake Christian Church, Laurie.
Other survivors include: one son, John Roger Bullock, Gravois Mills; one daughter, Sharon Kay Horton, Sedalia; one sister, Mazzilla Smith, Leavenworth, Kan.; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at West Lake Christian Church, Laurie. The Rev. Jack Daniel will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to West Lake Christian Church.

IRWIN
Gladys E. Irwin, 93, Eldon, died Dec. 18, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center.
She was born April 28, 1907, in Miller County, a daughter of James E. and Oda Viola Carterman Percival. She was married Jan. 8, 1928, to John Irwin, who died Sept. 13, 1978.
She lived in Jefferson City and Linn Creek, moving to Eldon 28 years ago. She was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Maxie Webb, Camdenton, and Wanda Barrett, Eldon; one son, James Robert Irwin, Irvine, Calif.; three sisters, Stella Bond, Bonner Springs, Kan., Estelle Kirklink, state of Pennsylvania , and Cleo Scrivner, Eldon; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
One son, Ronald Irwin, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Linn Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Rick Ginnings will officiate. Burial will be in James E. Percival Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
