ANDREWS
Margarette E. Andrews, 78, New Bloomfield, died Jan. 9, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Lexington, Ky., a daughter of Thomas and Anna Thompson Spaulding.
She attended Lexington High School, Lexington.
A homemaker, she had lived in Central Missouri since 1994.
Survivors include: two daughters, Debra Hilton, Versailles, Ky., and Phyllis Johnson, New Bloomfield; one son, Douglas Hayes, Versailles, Ky.; one sister, Buzz Cobb, Phoenix, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
One daughter, Patricia Jan Andrews, and one grandson preceded her in death.
Private graveside services will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
NIEMANN
Jane Niemann, 76, Camdenton, died Jan. 8, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born June 17, 1924, in Clinton, Ill., a daughter of Elijia V. and Lillie Jane Allen Goin. She was married July 4, 1945, in Bloomington, Ind., to Maurice Niemann, who survives at the home.
She graduated high school in Clinton. In 1960, she moved to Camdenton and worked for Hugh Phillips Law Office for several years. She was a Baptist.
Other survivors include one sister Ruby Goin, Camdenton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Donald Ruthenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Laughlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
PERREY
Marjorie Jane Scholten Perrey, 67, Jefferson City, died Jan. 9, 2001, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born June 24, 1933, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Robert and Mamie Renn Scholten. She was married June 30, 1951, to James L. Perrey, who survives at the home.
A homemaker, she was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Susan Carol Kliethermes, Jefferson City; two sons, Jim Perrey, Decatur, Ill., and David Turk Perrey, Jefferson City; two sisters, Carolyn Scheperle, Jefferson City, and JoAnn Thibault, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Private family entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Mid-Missouri Alzheimer's Association.
SILER
Ruth Louisa Beard Siler, 86, Dallas, died Jan. 5, 2001, in Dallas.
She was born Aug. 19, 1914, in Carrington, a daughter of Lewis S. and Elfia Brittana Way Beard. She was married Oct. 8, 1942, to William W. Siler, who survives at the home.
She graduated from Fulton High School and William Woods College in 1937. She played the violin and was part of the group the "Beard Sisters." She earned her bachelor's degree from Louisville University School of Music, Louisville, Ky., in 1939. She served as concert master in Mobile, Ala., and Belleville, Ill. She was second chair in the first violin section of the St. Louis Philharmonic during the 1960s.
She lived in a military environment and played in community orchestras.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Ruth B. Jones, Dallas; two sons, John W. Siler, Dallas, and Rise V. Siler, White City, Ore.; one sister, Eunice Brown, Deming, N.M.; and one brother, John O. Beard, Popular Bluff.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Stephen Sowder will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home.
BAINER
Emily Delphine Bainer, 68, Jefferson City, died Jan. 8, 2001, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Callaway County, a daughter of Harry O. and Susie O. Branch Steinmetz.
She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School and Capital City Business College. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
A homemaker, she worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue in the motor vehicle division for 27 years, retiring in 1994. She had worked for Homemaker Health Care, Inc. since 1994.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard Dean Bainer and Ronnie Dale Bainer, both of Jefferson City; one daughter, Cyndi Sue Edgell, St. Louis; four brothers, Wayne Carl Steinmetz, Tebbetts, Roger Dale Steinmetz and Stanley George Steinmetz, both of Jefferson City, and Larry Dean Steinmetz, Holts Summit; two sisters, Wanda Craighead, Mexico, and Minnie Ann Smith, Williamsburg; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Thomas W. Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery, Callaway County.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
ANDERSON
Norman Anderson, 78, Eldon, died Jan. 3, 2001, in Jefferson City.
He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Poplar Bluff, a son of Fred and Sarah Shane Anderson.
He worked as a chief store clerk for Emerson Electric. An Army veteran of World War II, he received two Bronze stars.
Survivors include one son, James Anderson, Eldon, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Gerald Nelson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
BROCKWAY
Annabell Pearl Berry Brockway, infant daughter of Wolston and Michelle Berry Brockway, both of Osage Beach, was stillborn Dec. 24, 2000, in Lake Ozark.
Other survivors include: one brother, Isaiah Brockway, Osage Beach; maternal grandmother, Monica Salter, Osage Beach; and maternal great-grandmothers, Buelah Berry, Peoria, Ill., and Doris Ebbing, Osage Beach.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Osage Beach. Bishop Steven Hoopes will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Ill.
Memorials are suggested in care of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
DONALDSON
Amy Donaldson, 25, Kaiser, died Jan. 7, 2001, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Aug. 31, 1975, in Waynesville, a daughter of Gary and Linda Wagoner Bowman. Her father and stepmother, Gary and Amber Bowman, survive in Dixon. Her mother and stepfather, Linda and Marvin Elmore, survive in Dixon. She was married in Lake Ozark to Joshua Donaldson, who survives in Kaiser.
A former Dixon resident, she was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church, Dixon.
Other survivors include: one son, Stormy Donaldson, of the home; one daughter, Brook Donaldson, of the home; one brother, Marvin Elmore Jr., Dixon; two sisters, Tempest Elmore and Savanna Bowman, both of Dixon; paternal grandmother, Freda Bowman, Dixon; and maternal grandmother, Lois Wagoner, Dixon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Dixon. The Rev. John Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Goodall Cemetery, Newburg.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, and from noon-1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Goodall Cemetery Care Fund, Newburg.
HOLLCROFT
Services were today for Ruth E. Hollcroft, 85, Stover, who died Jan. 8, 2001, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.
She was born Oct. 22, 1915, in Howard County. She was married Oct. 30, 1935, in Fayette, to Raymond Hollcroft, who survives at the home.
She also is survived by one daughter, Betty Hollcroft, Stover.
Services were at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. The Rev. Delmon Marriott officiated.
LEHMAN
Vernon E. Lehman, 80, California, died Jan. 9, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Moniteau County, a son of David W. and Rose Estel Hayes Lehman. He was married April 21, 1943, in Tipton, to Sara Snorgrass, who survives at the home.
He managed Crown Pharmacy, Bartlesville, Okla., and F.W. Houser Drug Company from 1950 to 1954. He owned and operated Lehman's Pharmacy from 1954 to 1989.
He was a Navy-Air Force veteran of World War II and he was a member of First Christian Church, California. He was a 1939 graduate of California High School. He attended the University of Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri Pharmacy School, Kansas City, in 1949.
Other survivors include: two sons, James D. Lehman, Alexandria, Va., and John Q. Lehman, California; one brother, David Lehman, California; one sister, Pauline Barnett, California; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. David Nicholson will officiate. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.
