MARSHALL

Eva Marshall, 92, Spokane, Wash., died Dec. 25, 2000, in Spokane.

She was born Dec. 27, 1907, in Miller County, a daughter of Rector A. and Ada Irvin Slone. She was married in 1929 in Kansas City to J. Russell Marshall, who died in January 1957.

She was a housekeeper and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She lived in Eldon until 1993, when she moved to Overland Park, Kan. She moved to Spokane in 1997.

Survivors include one son, Robert Russell Marshall, Spokane, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Nancie Lea Wilson, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Louis Garbi will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to Good News Medical Clinic, c/o Northside Church of Christ, 5601 N.  Jefferson St., Spokane, Wash. 99205.

SMALL

Virginia Morgan Small, 84, Eugene, died Jan. 8, 2001, in Eugene.

She was born April 25, 1916, in Crenshaw, Miss., a daughter of M.F. and Truly Rutledge Partain. She was married Sept. 30, 1933, in Marys Home, to Leonard Morgan, who died May 1, 1983. She was married March 27, 1988, in Manchester, to Kelly Small, who died July 25, 1999.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Marys Home.

Survivors include: three daughters, Carol Morgan, Columbia, Kathleen Norment, Powder Springs, Ga., and Marilyn Jenkins, Eugene; two sons, James Morgan, Eugene, and Mike Morgan, Dixon; one stepdaughter, Darlene Ferguson, Eldon; two stepsons, Dan Small, Concordia, and Gary Small, Richmond; one sister, Evelyn Wesner, Forest City, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Deborah Marie Morgan, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.

STEGEMAN

Services were Jan. 4, 2001, for William H. Stegeman, 81, Springfield, formerly of Taos, who died Jan. 1, 2001, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

He was born June 16, 1919, in Taos, a son of Anton and Frances Brogan Stegeman. He was married Aug. 9, 1947, to Bernice Klopotek, who survives in Springfield.

An Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he received four Bronze Stars. He served in the military until 1952. A resident of Sullivan for 26 years, he was a salesman for Krey Packing Co. and Frick's Meat Products, Washington .

He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Springfield, the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Knights of Columbus, Russell Schmidt VFW Post 3987 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Other survivors include: one son, Robert Stegeman, Sullivan; one daughter, Sandra Stegeman, Union; three brothers, Barney Stegeman and Archie Stegeman, both of  Jefferson City, and Lloyd Stegeman, Kansas City; one sister, Sylvia Schulte, Kansas City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Sullivan. The Rev. Theodore Brunnert officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan.

TAUBE

Services were Dec. 27, 2000, for Lambert Bernard Taube, 76, Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Taos, who died Dec. 22, 2000, at his home.

He was born April 21, 1924, in Taos, a son of Herman B. and Anna Myers Taube. He was married Nov. 26, 1984, in Bartlesville, to Evelyn Casey, who survives at the home.

He attended schools in Taos and was a chef in area restaurants. He was an Army veteran. He moved to Colby, Kan., in 1947 and owned and operated Murphy's Cafe until 1983. He then worked at Ramada Inn, Colby, before moving to Bartlesville in 1984. He worked for the Bartlesville Ramada Inn until retiring in 1987.

He was a Catholic. He was a member of James H. Teel American Legion Post 105, Bartlesville, and the VFW, Colby.

Other survivors include: one son, Lambert Taube Jr., Kansas City; three stepsons, Cecil Casey, Bartlesville, William "Bill" Casey, Dewey, Okla., and Melvin W. Casey, Hominy, Okla.; two daughters, Angie Schieck, Olathe, Kan., and Rosina Yarbrough, Dewey; one brother, Jerry Taube, O'Fallon; one sister, Christine Fuller,  Jefferson City; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services were at Stumpff Funeral Home, Bartlesville. The Rev. William Skeehan officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to The Heart Fund, c/o Susie Tallent, WestStar Bank, P.O. Box 999, Bartlesville, Okla. 74005.

WOLFMEIER

Mickey Dale Wolfmeier, 38, New Bloomfield, died Jan. 8, 2001, near his home.

He was born Feb. 2, 1962, in Fulton, a son of Clifford E. and Maxine Iona Dean Wolfmeier. His mother survives in Fulton.

He was employed in the maintenance department at Fulton State Hospital.

Other survivors include: one son, Raymond Dale Wolfmeier, New Bloomfield; one daughter, Tammy Jo Wolfmeier, New Bloomfield; fianceé, Charlotte Allen, New Bloomfield; one sister, Cheryl White , New Bloomfield; and one brother, Michael Dean Wolfmeier, New Bloomfield.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Mike Crowson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

ZIMMERMAN

Cordelia "Cordie" Zimmerman, 88,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 8, 2001, in  Jefferson City.

She was born Aug. 15, 1912, in Woodston, Kan., a daughter of Charles and Jessie Graham Buttermore. She was married Aug. 3, 1932, in Wichita, Kan., to S. Thomas Zimmerman, who died March 14, 1988.

She was a bookkeeper and partner in Zimmerman Electric Company until her retirement in 1974.

Survivors include: one daughter, Joan Ely, Mountain Home, Ark.; two sons, Stanley T. Zimmerman, Muncie, Ind., and Gary L. Zimmerman, Deerfield, Ill.; two sisters; six brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Jean Kirby, died in 1971.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. William T. Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid Missouri, 601 E. High Street,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.

KROEGER

Mary Louise Kroeger, 81,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 9, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

MICHAEL

Leota Louise Michael, 92,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 9, 2001, at  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

STEINMETZ

Paula Steinmetz, 27,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 9, 2001, at her home.

Arrangements are incomplete at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit.

BOOTH

Jessie Lee Booth, 86, Fulton, died Jan. 11, 2001, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.

She was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Callaway County, a daughter of Silas W. and Madie Brigleb Booth.

She was a graduate of William Woods College and a member of Court Street United Methodist Church, Fulton. She was employed as a bookkeeper for 25 years at Callaway Bank until her retirement in 1976.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Frances Booth, Fulton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. George Braden will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to Court Street United Methodist Church.

BUCHHOLZ

Norma J. Buchholz, 65, Osage Beach, died Jan. 11, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born July 16, 1935, in Wayne, Iowa, a daughter of Raymond and Luetta Loeb Rosacker. She was married Jan. 15, 1956, to Siegmund Buchholz, who survives in Osage Beach.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Osage Beach, Circle of Friends Evening Guild and Newcomers and Long timers Club. She was L.W.M.L. district president and Iowa District East and West Auxiliary Lutheran president of the Iowa district. She was the owner and operator of the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, Alta, Iowa.

Survivors include: one son, Mark Eric Buchholz, Kansas City; two daughters, Kathie Buchholz, Osage Beach, and Dawn Tanboli, Ballwin; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church, Osage Beach. Pastor John Dautenhahn will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach.

Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
