BUSCHJOST

Lorraine Josephine Buschjost, 78,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born June 21, 1922, in St. Elizabeth, a daughter of Theodore and Wilhemina Rehagen Kemna. She was married Sept. 22, 1948, in St. Elizabeth, to Norbert Henry Buschjost, who survives at the home.

A homemaker, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Other survivors include: two sons, Leon J. Buschjost, Holts Summit, and Daniel N. Buschjost,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Irene Buechter, Iberia, and Shirley Luebke, Coffeen, Ill.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth. The Rev. Timothy M. Tatro will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, St. Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

HAYDEN

Phyllis L. Hayden, 81, Camdenton, died Jan. 15, 2001, at her home.

She was born July 26, 1919, in Heartland, Minn., a daughter of Oscar and Grace Drake Saucke. She was married April 23, 1948, in Pittsfield, Ill., to Lawrence C. Hayden, who survives at the home.

She was a cook at Mister A's Restaurant, Camdenton.

Other survivors include: one son, Jerry L. Hayden, Jonestown, Pa.; two daughters, Pamela A. Andersons, Round Lake Beach, Ill., and Kathy L. Jones, Camdenton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at noon Thursday at Dale Blair Cemetery, Camdenton. The Rev. Tracy Carroll will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

BRUBACKER

Pauline Leona Brubacker, 78, Versailles, died Jan. 16, 2001, near Versailles.

She was born Oct. 9, 1922, in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania , a daughter of Amos and Ruth Lehman Brubacker.

She worked as a house cleaner and with produce.

She is survived by two brothers, Marvin L. Brubacker, Versailles, and Milton Brubacker, Millmont, Pa.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the family home near Versailles. Services will also be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Hopewell Mennonite Church near Versailles. Burial will be in Hopewell Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at her brother's home near Versailles.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

BUSICK

Vera Busick, 98, Mexico, died Jan. 15, 2001, in Mexico.

She was born Feb. 20, 1902, in Rocky Mount, a daughter of Clinton L. and Mollie Ellen Jobe Busick.

A 1922 graduate of Eldon High School, she got her degree from Central Missouri Teacher's College. She taught in rural Rocky Mount schools and second and third grades in Eldon Public Schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Eldon. She taught Sunday school until she was 96.

She was a member of the Miller County Area Retired Teachers; Eldon Retired Teachers; Farmers Wife Club; Miller Rebekah Lodge; and Town & Country Garden Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Randall Bunch and the Rev. Bob Buster will officiate. Burial will be in Dooley Cemetery, Eldon.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home.

FINN

Myrtle Finn, 88, Vienna, died Jan. 15, 2001, at Heritage Park Skilled Care, Rolla.

She was born Jan. 29, 1912, in Jewett, a daughter of Charles and Rose Goodman Davis. She was married June 20, 1934, in St. Mary's, to Leon Finn, who died May 5, 1967.

A homemaker, she was a cook at Maries R-1 School. She also worked at the Maries County Courthouse and was part of the Green Thumb Program.

Survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Finn, Rolla, and Harrel Finn, Newburg; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Vienna United Methodist Church. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate. Burial will be in Vienna Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

REDCAY

Lizzie Z. Redcay, 80, Denver, Pa., died Jan. 15, 2001, in Ephrata, Pa.

She was born Aug. 4, 1920, in New Holland, Pa., a daughter of Daniel N. and Lena Zimmerman Martin. She was married Oct. 26, 1941, to Henry N. Redcay, who died July 8, 2000.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: seven sons, Elmer M. Redcay,  Jefferson City, Clarence M. Redcay and Henry M. Redcay Jr., both of Denver, Pa., Melvin M. Redcay, Bowmansville, Pa., Ivan M. Redcay, Sarasota, Fla., Lester M. Redcay, Stevens, Pa., and Glenn M. Redcay, York, Pa.; seven daughters, Lena Mae Weaver, Lititz, Pa., Elsie Ann Beiler, Leola, Pa., Louella M. Zimmerman, Stevens, Lizzie M. Leid and Mabel Louise Martin, both of Ephrata, Alta Jan Stauffer, Denver, Pa., and Thelma Jean Horst, New Holland; four brothers, Paul Z. Martin, Newmanstown, Pa., John Z. Martin, New Holland, Ivan Z. Martin, Lititz, and Daniel Z. Martin, Ephrata; five sisters, Lena Zimmerman, Liberty, Etta Zimmerman, Kansas City, Vera Hoover, Manheim, Pa., and Alta Martin and Mary Martin, both of New Holland; 44 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.

One grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Fairmount Homes Farmcrest Chapel, Ephrata, and at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Martindale Mennonite Church, Martindale, Pa. Bishop Amos G. Martin, the Rev. Amos K. Martin, the Rev. Ivan B. Hurst and the Rev. Harlan W. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fairmount Homes.

Arrangements are under the direction of Groff-High-Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, Pa.

SEIBERT

Pauline Mae Seibert, 91,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born June 18, 1909, in Ash Grove, a daughter of Noah N. and Ann Willia Blythe Britt. She was married Oct. 25, 1930, in St. Charles, to Cornelius Lacey Seibert Sr., who died Aug. 30, 1976.

She attended Lincoln Lab School and Lincoln Institute. A homemaker, she was employed as a housekeeper for Dallmeyer's Jewelry Store. She then was housemother of Martin Hall at Lincoln University.

She was a member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she was a member of the Booster Club and a 50-year member of the choir. She was a member of the Progressive Art and Charity Club and the National Association of Colored Women's Club.

Survivors include: two daughters, Phyllis A. Scott, Wiesbaden, Germany, and Sherrelyn R. Woodruff,  Jefferson City; two sons, the Rev. Cornelius Lacey Seibert, Oakland, Calif., and William Kenneth Seibert, Waldorf, Md.; one sister, Rama Lorraine Newton, Columbia; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

One great-grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church. The Rev. Eva Duncan and the Rev. Cornelius Lacey Seibert will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church.

WRIGHT

Zachary Michael Robertson Wright, Barnett, infant son of Gregory Wright and Sandra Robertson, died shortly after birth Jan. 11, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

Other survivors include: one brother, Terry Robertson, of the home; one sister, Nicole Robertson, of the home; maternal grandmother, Mary Reed, Humansville; maternal grandfather, John Robertson, Barnett; paternal grandmother, Karen Trippet, Columbia; and paternal grandfather, Tom Wright, Union.

Graveside services will be at a later date in Antioch Cemetery, Crocker.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

JENKINS

Lillie I. Jenkins, 78, California, died Jan. 16, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Miller County, a daughter of Perry and Mary Lily Humphrey. She was married Jan. 7, 1947, to John Jenkins, who died April 15, 1981.

She graduated from high school and nursing school in St. Louis County, where she was an LPN for many years. She was a Protestant.

Survivors include: one son, Roger Jenkins, California; one daughter, Betty Edwards, California; one brother, Jessie Humphrey, DeSoto; eight grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

One great-grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Frank Goosie will officiate. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 2600 I-70 Drive N.W., Columbia, Mo. 65202.

PAYNE

Robert Gerald "Rebel" Payne, 63, died Jan. 16, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 11, 1938, in  Jefferson City, a son of John A. and Bertha Allen Freeman Payne.

A 1956 graduate of  Jefferson City High School, he was a Navy veteran. He was employed with the  Jefferson City Fire Department for 30 years and retired as captain in 1993.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, National Rifle Association, Firefighters Local 671 and the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Survivors include: one son, Michael Payne,  Jefferson City; three daughters, Vicki Montgomery, Lori Feltrop and Kelly Toebben, all of  Jefferson City; five grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. David Conley will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to Firefighters Local 671 or a charity of the donor's choice.
