HINNAH
Joseph Carl Hinnah, 67, Fulton, died Feb. 3, 2001, at Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.
He was born Dec. 17, 1933, a son of Elmer and Blanche Dixon Hinnah. His mother survives in Mokane.
A graduate of South Callaway R-2 High School, Mokane, he was an Army veteran.
Employed with Central Electric for many years, he also worked at Harbison Walker and was a carpenter with the Callaway County Nuclear Plant. He was a member of the Central Electric Union and Carpenter Union.
Survivors include: one son, William Hinnah, Sunrise Beach; one daughter, Patricia Hinnah, Fulton; one brother, Donald Hinnah, Portland; one sister, Shirley Stiefferman, Mokane; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Mike Crowson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m.

HOLLIS
Wilma Hollis, 85, Crocker, died Feb. 2, 2001, at Christian Care Center, Dixon.
She was born May 29, 1915, in Pulaski County, a daughter of Irl and Florence Mackney Phillips. She was married in 1933 to George Nelson, who died in 1951. She was married Oct. 22, 1953, in Brumley, to Warren Hollis, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, Dixon.
Other survivors include: three sons, Earl Nelson and Jim Hollis, both of Crocker, and William Nelson, Chesterfield; one daughter, Mary Ann Hollis, Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
One son, George Nelson, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Long Funeral Home, Crocker. Charles Pitts will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Crocker.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, and from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at Long Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Crocker.
STONEBURNER
Kathleen C. Stoneburner, 82, Scottsburg, Ind., died Feb. 3, 2001, at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind.
She was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Sugar Ridge Township, Ind., a daughter of Herman and Enola Dressler Campbell. She was married Oct. 29, 1940, to Arthur Wendell Stoneburner, who died in March 1988.
A graduate of Ashburo High School, she received a bachelor's degree in 1939 from Asbury College, and a master's degree from I.S.U. She was a teacher at mission schools in Albuquerque, N.M., and taught kindergarten in Whiteland, Ind., at the United Methodist Church.
A former resident of Terre Haute, she taught in Finley Township, retiring from Dixie Bee Elementary School in 1986. She was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church and the Retired Teachers Association.
Other survivors include: one son, Wendell Stoneburner Jr., Jefferson City; two daughters, Patricia McNeely, Sullivan Ind., and Sharon Chasteen, Scottsburg; three brothers, Quentin Campbell, Marvin Campbell and Glendon Campbell; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Temple, Terre Haute. The Rev. Wendell Stoneburner Jr. and the Rev. Randy McNeely will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at DeBaun Funeral Home Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute.
SHIKLES
Paul L. Shikles, 82, Eldon, died Feb. 4, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Oct. 19, 1918, in St. Louis, a son of Linley and Anna Hicks Shikles. He was married Dec. 27, 1941, in Eldon, to Ruby Amos, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of World War II, he had lived in Enon. He farmed in the Enon area for 42 years before moving to Eldon in 1989. He opened a blacksmith shop and drove a bus for the Russellville school district. He later worked as a supervisor in the Missouri Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division, retiring after 17 years.
He was an award-winning fiddle player. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, south of Russellville.
Other survivors include: one son, Dale Shikles, Jefferson City; one daughter, DeeEllen Maher, Eldon; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
One son, Dennis James Shikles, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Enon Baptist Church. The Rev. Randy Trumbo and the Rev. Keith Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to Enon Baptist Church.
PAYNE
Kathryn Payne, 73, Auxvasse, died Feb. 2, 2001, at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico.
She was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Hatton, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Evelyn Smallwood Buckner. She was married March 15, 1952, to James Monroe Payne, who died June 15, 1988.
She worked in housekeeping at William Woods University for 36 years before retiring. She then worked at North Callaway R-1 High School as a cook.
She also worked at the Auxvasse Senior Center.
She had been a member of Old Richland Baptist Church, Fulton, and the Crows Fork Baptist Church. She later attended Second Baptist Church, Auxvasse.
Survivors include: one daughter, Nancy Brandt, Fulton; one son, Gary Payne, Auxvasse; one sister, Lula Mae Glover, Fulton; two brothers, Marvin Buckner, Mexico, and Ralph C. Buckner, Springfield, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
One son, James Lewis Payne, and one daughter, Jo Ann Mahaney, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Second Baptist Church, Auxvasse. The Rev. William Butler will officiate. Burial will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Auxvasse.
McKINNEY
Imogene Lipskoch McKinney, 67, Holts Summit, died Feb. 4, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Tebbetts, a daughter of Louis and Johanna Meyer Lipskoch. She was married May 11, 1957, in Dallas, to Herbert McKinney, who survives at the home.
She was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson City High School. A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, she was a homemaker. She was employed as secretary at Cedar City School, and was a bookkeeper at the Family Mental Health Center.
She was a member of Central United Church of Christ and the Cedar City Lions Club.
Other survivors include: two sons, Brad McKinney, Fulton, and Dwayne McKinney, Holts Summit; two daughters, Catherine Goser, Fulton, and Diane McKinney, Holts Summit; one sister, Dorothy Adams, Branson; one brother, Louis John Lipskoch Jr., New Bloomfield; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Stephen Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Summit Memorial Gardens, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
LEHST
Debra Lynn Lehst, 37, Montreal, died Feb. 3, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1963, in Naperville, Ill., a daughter of Ernest and Roberta Steinhoff Lehst. Her mother and father survive at the home.
She had been a resident of Bartlett, Ill., and had lived in Montreal since 1990. She was a member of Walk on the Water Faith Church, Osage Beach.
Services will be held at a later date at Walk on the Water Faith Church, Osage Beach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
GOVE
Kenneth J. Gove, 67, Jefferson City, died Feb. 5, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 10, 1933, in Osage County, a son of Lafe O. and Pearl Lampkin Gove. His mother survives in Linn. He was married March 17, 1956, in Jefferson City, to Lillian R. Monroe, who survives at the home.
He attended school in Linn and Jefferson City. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Roy Sone Post, the Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order of Eagles 2693, Fraternal Order of Police and the United Methodist Church.
He worked for the Jefferson City Police Department for 27 years, retiring in 1985 as a detective sergeant. He was then employed with the Cole County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of the Missouri Major Case Squad for more than 20 years.
Other survivors include: one son, Keith A. Gove, Jefferson City; one daughter, Joyce A. Finke, Jefferson City; one sister, Betty Gartin, Linn; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Tony Townley will officiate. Burial will be in Linn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

LOETHEN
Catherine "Katie" Loethen, 97, St. Thomas, died Feb. 6, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born March 11, 1903, in St. Thomas, a daughter of Henry and Anna K. Sommer Schulte. She was married May 29, 1928, in St. Thomas, to Vincent Loethen, who died Nov. 23, 1980.
A lifelong resident of the St. Thomas and Meta area, she was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors include: four daughters, Celestine Stegeman, Meta, Rosella Reinkemeyer, St. Thomas, Viola Volmert, Jefferson City, and Joan Poettgen, Janesville, Wis.; one brother, Herman Schulte, Meta; two sisters, Emma Hirshberg, St. Thomas, and Margaret Bax, Jefferson City; 14 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
One son, Delmer Loethen, died April 30, 2000. Two infant sons also preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Antweiler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Thomas, with a senior citizen rosary at 4 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
