BRAZELL

Patricia Lou Brazell, 62, Topeka, Kan., died Feb. 13, 2001, at Midland Hospice Care Center, Topeka.

She was a daughter of Walter and Mayme Brazell.

Survivors include one sister, Ruth Arena, Topeka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Burial will be in Roach Cemetery, near Newburg.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.

THULI

Vera E. Thuli, 74, Morrison, died Feb. 14, 2001, at Villa Marie Nursing Home,  Jefferson City.

She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Morrison, a daughter of Raymond M. and Alice C. Schmitz Struttmann. She was married Sept. 20, 1969, in Hermann, to Howard L. Thuli, who survives at the home.

She was a member of Assumption Church, Morrison, AARP and the Catholic Knights of America. She worked as a general laborer for Stevens Toy Factory, Hermann.

Other survivors include: one son, Daniel R. Augustine, Chamois; one daughter, Sheryl Schulte,  Jefferson City; one brother, Robert Struttmann, Festus; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church. Fr. Pat Dowling will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Morrison.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison, with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Masses or Villa Marie Nursing Home,  Jefferson City.

WILKINSON

Paul "Leo" Wilkinson, 70, Sumter, S.C., died Feb. 13, 2001, in Sumter.

He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Rose Bud, Ark., a son of Paul "Jack" and Dorathy Evens Wilkinson. He was married Jan. 18, 1964, in Grandview, to Betty Ferguson, who survives at the home.

A graduate of Rose Bud High School, Rose Bud, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He ran the "Country Place" sandwich and donut shop in Rose Bud for 16 years. After earning his funeral director's license in Dallas, he worked for Roberts Funeral Home, Boonville, Ark., and Frazer Funeral Home, Warren, Ark.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Ark., and Sedalia Masonic Lodge No. 236, Sedalia. He was also a member of Naples Chapter No. 1 Order of the Eastern Star and Rainbow Dad for Naples Assembly, LT, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, both of Naples, Italy.

Other survivors include: one son, Richard Wilkinson, St. Joseph; one daughter, Susan Henry, Summerville, S.C.; and five grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Bud First Baptist Church, Rose Bud. Graveside services, with military honors, will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. The Rev. Dusty Klein will officiate.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

FERGUSON

Christine L. Ferguson, 51, Osage Beach, died Feb. 15, 2001, at her home.

She was born June 22, 1949, in Poplar Bluff, a daughter of Roy L. and Stella E. Pietraski Hebever. She was married Sept. 24, 1966, in Ballwin, to James D. Ferguson, who survives at the home.

She was a store manager in Osage Beach.

Other survives include: one son, James Earl Ferguson, Osage Beach; one daughter, Jamie M. Ferguson, Four Seasons; one brother, William Hebever, Niceville, Fla.; and one grandson.

The remains were cremated under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.

MORICE

Marie Morice, 88,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 15, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born June 5, 1912, in St. Louis, a daughter of Ernest and Sadie Scott Kalthaler. She was married in 1932 in St. Louis to Earl Morice, who died May 18, 1960.

She was a file clerk with Community Federal Savings and Loan, St. Louis. She was a member of the Nelson Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include: two sons, Ron Morice, Holts Summit, and Dennis Morice, Ballwin; two sisters, Gin Timman, St. Charles, and Florence Williams, Piedmont; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, St. Louis. The Rev. Murl Nash will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, St. Louis.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors- Jefferson City Chapel.

TICHELKAMP

Viola H. J. Tichelkamp, 81,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 16, 2001, at  Jefferson City Manor Care Nursing Home.

She was born June 6, 1919, in Cole County, a daughter of Theodore J. and Dorothea Sommerer Ehrhardt. She was married Nov. 24, 1955, in Honey Creek, to Otto William Tichelkamp, who died Dec. 24, 1980.

She attended East Union, Trinity Lutheran and Immanuel Lutheran Schools. She worked at the Tweedie Footware Company, International Shoe Company and Charles E. Still Hospital. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek.

Survivors include: two brothers, Herbert Ehrhardt and John Ehrhardt, and two sisters, Norma Ziegler and Pearl Carrender, all of  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek. The Rev. Russell Bowder will officiate. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Honey Creek.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran School.

BAIN

Harold E. Bain, 78, Climax Springs, died Feb. 15, 2001, at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach.

He was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Mercer, a son of Glen and Bernice Cox Bain. He married Wanda Bee Moon, Independence, who survives of the home.

He earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine at Iowa State University. He established and operated a mixed veterinary practice from 1948-1969. From 1970 to 1987 he was a veterinary consultant for Norwich Parmacal Co. (Eaton) and Vigortone Ag Products. His civic involvements included: Cameron School Board, 4-H and FFA. He was honored by the Cameron FFA Chapter and the Clinton County Extension Council for his lifetime commitment to youth. He received the Veterinarian of the Year Award in 1990. He was a Worshipful Master of Vincil Masonic Lodge #62 for 50 years and a life member of Moila Shrine Temple. He was a member of the Climax Spring Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #3600 and the Climax Springs Kiwanis Club. After retirement, he helped build and establish the 7-13 fire station, now part of the Northwest Fire District.

Survivors include: two daughters, Nancy Waage, Rogers, Ark., and Sharon Durnell, St. Louis; a brother, Virgil Bain, Centerville, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel, Laurie.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriners' Hospitals for Children or the Dogwood Animal Shelter, Camdenton.

VANLOO

William J. VanLoo, 67,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born April 28, 1933, in  Jefferson City, a son of Anton and Agnes Weavers VanLoo. He was married in Monett June 29, 1991, to Avada Kaesler, who survives at the home.

He attended St. Peters School and worked for the  Jefferson City Park Board and the  Jefferson City Street Department.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Julie VanLoo, and one sister, Jeanette Heidbreder, both of  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home- Jefferson City Chapel. Fr. Brendan Doyle will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home- Jefferson City Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

BANKS

Pauline Banks, 86, Osage Beach, died Feb. 16, 2001, in Osage Beach.

She was born October 24, 1914, in Miller County, a daughter of William George and Myra Iceline (Maher) Brandt.

She was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church, Osage Beach, and the Social Circle Club. She worked in the kitchen of Sherwood Cafe, Osage Beach and also at John Deer Cedar Factory, Lake Ozark.

Survivors include: one daughter, Ophelia Banks, Osage Beach, and one sister, Hilda Maupin, Fortuna.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery, Kaiser. Pastor Dale Bentch will officiate.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to New Hope Cemetery.

CREMER

Hermania Georgia Cremer, 89,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 16, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born May 31, 1911, in Russellville, a daughter of Jacob and Katherine Bruning Cremer.

She graduated from Russellville High School, and received her graduate nursing degree in St. Louis. She was a registered nurse with St. Marys Health Center for 40 years. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Bernadine Veit,  Jefferson City, and a brother, Adolph Cremer, Houston, Texas .

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Lammers will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to St. Michael Catholic Church Building Fund, Russellville.

Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
