BAYSINGER
Aubrey H. Baysinger, 83, Olean, died Feb. 19, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1917, in Cole County, a son of Alonzo H. and Bertha Smith Baysinger. He was married July 11, 1942, in St. Louis, to Ellen Imogene Proctor, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was employed at the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department for 33 years until his retirement in 1981.
He was a member of Spring Garden Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Other survivors include: one son, Bob Baysinger, Jefferson City; one daughter, Jane Hale, Jefferson City; one sister, Margaret Fischer, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Spring Garden Baptist Church. The Rev. Shane Crum will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Garden Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice or ALS Research.
HEQUEMBOURG
Virginia H. Hequembourg, 76, Jefferson City, died Feb. 18, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born July 4, 1924, in Ottumwa, Iowa, a daughter of John S. and Martha Sheafe Hammes. She was married Jan. 5, 1944, in Alexandria, La., to Frank Douglass Hequembourg Jr., who died Nov. 25, 1979.
She was a graduate of Bluette High School, St. Louis. A resident of Central Missouri since 1966, she was a supervisor at the Missouri Division of Tourism until her retirement.
She was a past member of the Board of Learning and Retirement Inc. at Lincoln University, and was active with the Democratic Committee in Mississippi County.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert R. Hequembourg and John L. Hequembourg, both of Jefferson City; one daughter, Ginna Lee Copeland, New Madrid; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Stephen Buchholz will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri or to a charity of the donor's choice.
GOLDAMMER
Clara Ann Goldammer, 89, Wheeling, Ill., formerly of Jefferson City, died Feb. 19, 2001, at North West Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill.
She was born May 7, 1911, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Richard and Leona Loesch Goldammer.
She attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a cook and live-in housekeeper.
Survivors include: two brothers, Tommy Goldammer and Harry Goldammer, both of Jefferson City; and one sister, Alma Sommerer, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, Lutheran Hour Ministries, Hospice of Jefferson City, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
BOYCE
Loyd Gene Boyce, 64, Fulton, died Feb. 20, 2001, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
He was born March 4, 1936, in New Bloomfield, a son of Clarence W. and Emma Lois Gathright Boyce. He was married June 24, 1961, in Fulton, to Dorothy Hopsecker, who survives at the home.
He worked for 24 years at Fulton Implement GE Store. He owned and operated Gene's Appliance since 1986. He was a member of Richland Christian Church, where he was a deacon and served as treasurer for many years.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Stacey Lynne Boyce Bonderer, Fulton; one sister, Imo Lou Pani, Fulton; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Case will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
ADAMS
Eddie V. Adams, 75, died Feb. 19, 2001, at Lake Regional Health Center.
He was born July 27, 1925, in Smyrna, Ga., a son of Edward and Elizabeth Grammer Adams. He was married June 18, 1960, to Rosemarie Helfrich, who survives at the home.
He was raised in St. Louis and worked for Alextion Brothers Hospital in laundry management. He also worked for hospitals in Kansas City and St. Charles. He retired in 1990 after working at Tan-Tar-A Resort at Lake of the Ozarks.
Other survivors include: two sons, Randy Adams, Lake Ozark, and Robert Adams, Bremerton, Wash.; one daughter, Mary Bogue, Springfield; one sister, Katherine Puckett, St. Louis; and five grandsons.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Fr. Jim Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Roach Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
RILEY
Robert Gene Riley, 70, Jefferson City, died Feb. 19, 2001, at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1930, near Boynton, a son of Orville and Abbie Robinson Riley. He was married June 29, 1957, in Boynton, to Colleen Henness, who survives at the home.
He received his bachelor's degree in 1959 and his master's degree in 1960 from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. He taught in Wentzville for six years before coming to Jefferson City in 1966. He worked for 31 years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 5. He was also a member of First Baptist Church; Jefferson Lodge 43 A.F. & A.M.; Jefferson City Chapter 34 R.A.M.; Ezra Council 32; Prince of Peace Commandery 29; Missouri Priory 17 K.Y.C.H.; Gideons International; Sigma Tau Gamma; the National Rehabilitation Association; and the Missouri Rehabilitation Association.
Other survivors include: one son, Dr. Steven Riley, Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Denise Riley, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Carol Deem, Panama City Beach, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Doyle Sager and the Rev. Thomas Nelson will officiate. Graveside services and burial with military honors will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Freeman Mortuary, with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Special Music Fund, or to Gideons International.
BACKES
Joyce B. Backes, 52, Loose Creek, died Feb. 21, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born June 13, 1948, in St. Elizabeth, a daughter of George and Emma Kemna Oligschlaeger. She was married Nov. 1, 1976, to John Backes, who survives at the home.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. She was also a past national president of American Public Human Services Association. She was employed by the Missouri Department of Social Services as the director of the Division of Data Processing until her retirement last October.
Other survivors include: three sons, Brian Stegeman, Loose Creek, Mike Backes, Jefferson City and Marcus Backes, St. Charles; one daughter, Jena Backes, Loose Creek; two brothers, Fred Oligschlaeger, Seattle, Wash., and Norbert Oligschlaeger, Salinas, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Ann Turner, Savannah, and Evelyn Buschjost, St. Thomas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. The Rev. Gregory Meystrik will officiate. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home in Linn. A prayer service will be Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
HASSELBRING
Debra Rae Hasselbring, 44, Sunrise Beach, died Feb. 16, 2001, at Boone Hospital Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1957, in Kansas City, a daughter of Norman D. and Orene Rae Brown Gaul. Her father and stepmother, Norman and Lorraine Gaul, survive in Merriam, Kan. Her mother and stepfather, Orene Rae and Bob McCurdy, survive in Holiday Island, Ark.
She was an emergency medical technician and a C.P.R. instructor. She lived in the Sunrise Beach area for 30 years, working at Deer Valley Park and managing Ozark Barbecue.
Other survivors include: one son, Dustin Hasselbring, Sunrise Beach; one daughter, Kelly Hasselbring, Springfield; one brother, Mike Gaul, Midland, Mich.; and one sister, Pam McCumber, Carrollton.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie. Graveside services and inurnment will be Friday at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City.

ROGERS
Ina Juanita Rogers, 79, Eldon, died Feb. 20, 2001, in Osage Beach.
She was born March 2, 1921, in Enon, a daughter of Gail F. and Cecil O. Son Smith. She was married April 30, 1938, in Tuscumbia, to Charlie R. Rogers, who survives in Eldon.
She worked for Carp's Department Store, Gerbes Supermarket and was head cook for Eldon High School. She ended her career as head cook for the School of the Osage School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Eldon.
Other survivors include: two sons, Charles Rogers and Stephen Rogers, both of Eldon; one sister, Ruby Laurie, Eldon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Randall Bunch and the Rev. Bob Buster will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
