CONNER
Betty Ann Conner, 63, Dixon, died March 5, 2001, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Dec. 8, 1937, in Hardy, Ark., a daughter of Truman and Norma Biggers Wiles. Her mother survives in Hardy. She was married Jan. 4, 1958, in Chesterfield, S.C., to Wyatt Conner, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church, near Dixon, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, choir member and vacation Bible School worker. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union of the church.
She volunteered at Waynesville Nursing Center and was a member of the DAV Auxiliary.
Other survivors include: three sons, Danny Conner, Riverside, Calif., and Jerry Conner and Wyatt Conner Jr., both of Dixon; one daughter, Glenna Alsup, West Plains; five brothers, Leonard Wiles, Williford, Ark., Eugene Wiles, Gulfport, Miss., Raymond Wiles, Mountain View, Ark., Roy Wiles, Cherokee Village, Ark., and Travis Wiles, Ash Flat, Ark.; two sisters, Janelta Tipton, Hidden Valley, Ark., and Naomi Martin, Ozark; and eight grandchildren.
One son, Lynn Conner, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pisgah Baptist Church. Mike Yelton will officiate. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Pisgah Baptist Church.
HART
Irene Christine Hart, 89, Jefferson City, died March 4, 2001, at Capital City Health Care.
She was born Dec. 6, 1911, in Quincy, Ill., a daughter of Thomas R. and Rose Murce Gibson. She was married May 16, 1933, in Palmyra, to David Corydell Hart, who died Jan. 6, 1972.
A former resident of Edina, she worked in farming in Knox County for most of her life. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Edina.
Survivors include: one daughter, Wilma Walker, Jefferson City; one half brother, Bill Gibson, Quincy; one half sister, Mary Lou Winfield, Liberty, Ill.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, Edina. The Rev. Bill Peckman will officiate. Burial will be in Linville Cemetery, Edina.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
HARRISON
Albert A. Harrison, 79, Fulton, died March 5, 2001, at his home.
He was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Springfield, a son of Albert H. and Jewell Judy Sample Harrison. He had been married to Bonnie Stone Harrison, who preceded him in death, and Alice Way, who also preceded him in death.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Quaker Window Products for 33 years. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Larry Harrison and Charles Harrison, both of Jefferson City; two daughters, Donna Meisel, Jefferson City, and Jackie Baysinger, Fulton; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice, or the Alzheimers Association of Mid-Missouri Chapter.
LANG
Raymond C. Lang, 81, Morrison, died March 4, 2001, at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann.
He was born Oct. 9, 1919, at Morrison, a son of George H. and Selma Whertwine Lang. He was married to Marie Sanchez. She preceded him in death.
He was a lifelong resident of Central Missouri and was employed at General Motors, St. Louis. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in Normandy, Northern France, Ardenes Rhineland and Central Europe. He received five bronze stars.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Burial will be in Fredricksburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the Fredricksburg Cemetery Association.
MILLER
George Satterlee Miller, 79, Tipton, died March 5, 2001, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Versailles.
He was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Kansas City, a son of Carl and Ester Pearl Satterlee Miller. He was married July 25, 1942, in Kansas City, to Dorothy Larson, who survives at the home.
He was a member of Broadway Methodist Church, Kansas City. He served in the Navy Air Corps during World War II. A former resident of Overland Park, Kan., he moved to Syracuse in 1985 and was a member of American Legion Post 304, Tipton. He became a member of the National Delta Kappa Chi, MU Chapter, in 1938.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Diana Embry, Tipton, and Janet Moore, Syracuse; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Hope, Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City. The Rev. Jim Cormier will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. today at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton.
Memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Christian Church, Tipton.
MOULDER
Nedra White Moulder, 89, San Diego, Calif., formerly of Camdenton, died Feb. 14, 2001, at her home.
She was born June 21, 1911, in Old Linn Creek, a daughter of Claude M. and Anna L. Robinson White . She was married April 23, 1929, to Morgan M. Moulder, who died Nov. 12, 1976.
She worked in retail general merchandising stores in Camden County and owned the Hopi Indian Motel, Camdenton. She moved to San Diego in the 1990s after living one year in Jefferson City.
Survivors include: one daughter, Marcia Moulder, San Diego; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Telophase Crematory, San Diego.
STUBINGER
Lauretta Stubinger, 88, Russellville, died March 6, 2001, near Russellville.
She was born Feb. 9, 1913, in Lohman, a daughter of Otto and Pauline Linsenbardt Linhardt. She was married Feb. 22, 1933, in Lohman, to Fred Stubinger, who preceded her in death.
She worked in the Charles E. Still Hospital housekeeping department, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Russellville.
Survivors include: one sister, Martha Jungmeyer, Russellville, and one brother, Herbert Linhardt, St. Louis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Russellville. The Rev. Nancy Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Perpetual Cemetery Fund.
ARNOLD
Dorris Gail Arnold, 72, Tipton, died March 6, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Versailles, a son of Orville and Linnie Lowe Arnold. He was married June 19, 1948, in Tipton, to Melba Dean Hartman, who survives at the home.
A lifelong Tipton area resident, he was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Tipton. He was an honorary lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a gas delivery truck driver for 38 years. He worked for Skelly Oil Co., A-G Co-op and MFA Oil Co. before retiring.
Other survivors include: three sons, Gary Arnold, California, and Mitchell Arnold and Terry Joe Arnold, both of Tipton; three daughters, Jackie Lutz, Susie Dowell and Cheryl Gagnon, all of Tipton; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Tana Jean Huddleston, died in 1996.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Tipton. The Rev. Henry Reichert will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton.
Memorials are suggested to St. Andrews School or Church.
BAKER
Mabel Self Baker, 80, Versailles, died March 6, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Wyoming, Ill., a daughter of Arthur and Birdie Vinson Spry. She was married to Cecil Self, who preceded her in death.
She worked at Lamies Levi Factory in Sedalia for 35 years and was a Baptist.
Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Self, Blue Springs, and Richard Self, Independence; two daughters, Ruth Schwering, Versailles, and Helen Crafton, Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Laura Patterson, state of Mississippi, and Mamie Bislen, Sedalia; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Junior Self and Jerry Self, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
