HOERSCHGEN
Francis L. Hoerschgen, 76, Jefferson City, died March 23, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Osage County, a son of Anton and Othelia Schmitz Hoerschgen. He was married March 2, 1950, in Jefferson City, to Edna Mae Connell, who survives in Russellville.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed by the Department of Corrections and the City of Jefferson, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City.
Other survivors include: six sons, Donnie E. Hoerschgen, Wayne A. Hoerschgen, Jerry L. Hoerschgen, Daniel G. Hoerschgen, Randolph W. Hoerschgen and Glen J. Hoerschgen, all of Jefferson City; one daughter, Mary K. Davis, Jefferson City; two brothers, Wilfred Hoerschgen, Bonnots Mill, and Lester Hoerschgen, Loose Creek; one sister, Bernice Davis, Fulton; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek. The Rev. Greg Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Loose Creek.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
RIDENHOUR
Eula Mae Ridenhour, 82, Jefferson City, died March 25, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1918, in Richville, a daughter of Arthur and Mayme Bayless Loring. She was married March 19, 1946, in Jefferson City, to Raymond Benton Ridenhour, who died Jan. 13, 1998.
She attended schools in Richville and Boise, Idaho. She was a factory worker for Chesebrough-Ponds Inc. She was a member of Capital City Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Irene Bartron, Las Vegas; one stepson, Mack Ridenhour; two stepdaughters, Florence Wells and Mary Ann Thompson; and one brother, Lance Loring, state of New Mexico.
One son preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
WOHLETZ
Richard F. "Dick" Wohletz, 60, Jefferson City, died March 25, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City.
He was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Ottawa, Kan., a son of Lillis and Rose Buser Wohletz. He was married June 25, 1966, in Dighton, Kan., to Linda L. Mull, who survives at the home.
He was a 1958 graduate of De La Salle Military Academy, Kansas City. He attended Kansas City Junior College and served in the Air Force Reserves.
He opened and managed the Jefferson City Capital Mall from 1978 to 1983. He was the property manager at the Truman State Office Building from 1983 until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of St. Joseph's Cathedral and the Building Owners and Managers Association.
Other survivors include: one son, Kevin R. Wohletz, Jefferson City; one brother, Leo A. Wohletz, Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Shirley A. Donahue, Hot Springs, Ark.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Cathedral. The Rev. Dennis Zachies and the Rev. Fred Elskamp will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to River City Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson City.
DEARIXON
Georgia G. Dearixon, 76, Jamestown, died March 26, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Care Facility.
She was born Nov. 24, 1924, in Brumley, a daughter of Fred and Leona Phillips Musick.
She was a housekeeper supervisor at Jefferson City Manor, retiring after 12 years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Centertown, and attended Brumley School.
Survivors include: two sons, Don Dearixon, California, and Arthur Wayne Dearixon, Jamestown; three daughters, Donna Vann, Lincoln, Becky Harbaugh, Jefferson City, and Rhonda Harlow, Bethel; one brother, Robert Musick, Aurora; three sisters, Ann Lampe, Holts Summit, Lillie Whitaker, Salem, and Loren Schroer, New Bloomfield; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, one infant twin daughter, Shelly Dearixon, one daughter, Linda Kuster, and one infant twin son, Kelly Dearixon.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Myron Couch will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, north of California.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday.

JACOBS
Ellen M. Jacobs, 90, Eldon, died March 23, 2001, in Eldon.
She was born Jan. 5, 1911 in Eugene, a daughter of George and Anna Bell Norfleet. She was married March 21, 1946, in Jefferson City, to Edward F. Jacobs, who died March 2, 1976.
A homemaker, she was a long-time resident of Eldon and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, JoAnn Blaylock, Parker, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Stephen Riordan will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Garden Cemetery, Eugene.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

RAITHEL
Crystal Raithel, 83, Marion, died March 25, 2001, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born March 1, 1918, in Old Linn Creek, a daughter of Samuel L. and Minnie L. Crabtree Papen. She was married Dec. 24, 1940, in Huntsville, to Oliver Raithel, who survives at the home.
A homemaker, she was a representative for World Book/Child World for many years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Centertown, before transferring her membership to Grace United Methodist Church, Jamestown.
She was a member of American Legion Post 531 Ladies Auxiliary, California Chapter 521 Order of Eastern Star, W.H.O. Extension Club and had been active in 4-H programs.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Leah Jo McNay, Jamestown; one brother, T.L. Papen, High Point; three sisters, Delia Stillings, Camdenton, Marjorie Spencer, Rogersville, and Lorraine Modersohn, Camdenton; three grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Jerry Moon, Rev. Kenyon Papen and Rev. Chester Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Jefferson City.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

ROSENMILLER
Helen D. Rosenmiller, 56, Holts Summit, died March 26, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born July 26, 1944, in Bluffton, a daughter of August and Nellie Garrett Polacek Sr. She was married Aug. 29, 1980, in Jefferson City, to Stephen Rosenmiller, who survives at the home.
She attended school in Bluffton. She was an office coordinator in the radiology department at Capital Region Medical Center from 1974 to 1999.
Other survivors include: one son, Mark Hillebrand, St. Leonard, Md.; two daughters, Shelley Bracher and Marla Hillebrand, both of Holts Summit; two brothers, Kenneth Polacek, Rhineland, and August Polacek Jr., Fulton; five sisters, Dorothy Pierson, Guthrie, Louetta Martin and Judy Harrison, both of Fulton, Donna Rademan, Rhineland, and Faye Holzhauser, Portland; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Jefferson City. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

VERBLE
Annie E. Verble, 83, Steedman, died March 25, 2001, at Riverview Nursing Center, Mokane.
She was born Sept. 21, 1917, in Steedman, a daughter of Moses and Nola Collins Dillon. She was married June 10, 1945, to Ernest E. Verble, who died June 27, 1990.
She was a factory worker for Emerson Electric until her retirement. She was a member of Steedman United Methodist Church and the Sunshine Club of Steedman.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary Verble, Fenton, and Johnny Verble, Auxvasse; one daughter Loretta Bonta, Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Gertrude Vandeloecht, Steedman; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Norma Butler, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Lewis Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Steedman Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

WINDSOR
Linda Denise Windsor, 47, Columbia, died March 25, 2001, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.
She was born Nov. 20, 1953, in Tacoma, Wash., a daughter of Cecil W. and Emma L. Seifert Windsor. Her mother survives in Boonville. She was married March 10, 1984, in Columbia, to Floyd B. Windsor III, who survives.
She was a purchasing agent for Columbia and was past president of Missouri Association of Public Purchasing. She was a member of the Christian Chapel and was active with Salt & Light Youth Group and Speed the Light Ministries. She was a volunteer reserve police officer for the Columbia Police Department.
Other survivors include: one son, Jonathan P. Windsor, Columbia; one stepson, Capt. Jason S. Windsor, Alexandria, Va.; one stepdaughter, Stacie R. Friedrich, Columbia; one brother, Rick Sedgwick, Jamestown; five sisters, Darlene Smith, Kansas City, Teresa Windsor, Boonville, Valorie Windsor, Hartsburg, Letha Scott, Bunceton, and Jackie Cockrell, Sturgeon; one grandmother, Edna M. Windsor, Boonville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Christian Chapel. The Rev. Gary Denbow will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
