DARR

Orland Clyde "O.C." Darr, 76, Russellville, died April 9, 2001, at  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

He was born June 12, 1924, in Greencastle, a son of Clyde and Lena Speicer Darr. He was married May 18, 1963, in Palmyra, to JoAnn Smoot, who survives at the home.

He attended school in Greencastle and had lived in Lewistown. He was an Army veteran of World War II, receiving three Bronze Stars.

He started a trucking business in Lewistown and hauled livestock, grain and coal.

He moved to Columbia in the 1960s and worked for MFA Oil. He later moved to Russellville and drove for Von Hoffman Press until his retirement.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He was a life member of VFW Post 1003 and a member of Teamsters Local 833.

Other survivors include one daughter, Stacey McCoy, Centertown, and one foster brother, Don Barron, Hoopeston, Ill.

His foster parents preceded him in death.

No visitation is planned.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in National Cemetery,  Jefferson City.

Memorials are suggested to  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.

EISENREICH

Dorothy Ellen Eisenreich, 75, Camdenton, died April 9, 2001, at Windsor Estate Convalescent Center, Camdenton.

She was born April 20, 1925, in St. Louis, a daughter of Arthur and Ellen Muller Senn. She was married Feb. 19, 1944, in St. Louis, to Carl Eisenreich, who survives in Camdenton.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Camdenton.

She was a high school secretary for 10 years and was a member of Lake Valley Country Club.

Other survivors include: one son, Robert C. Eisenreich, Overland Park, Kan.; one daughter, Sandra Oetting, Concordia; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Marc Magana will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Concordia. Pastor Gary Clayton will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.

KREBS

Mable M. Krebs, 92, Steedman, died April 10, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Steedman, a daughter of Theodore "Doris" and Leila Arnold Vandelicht. She was married May 5, 1931, in Fulton, to Christy S. Krebs, who survives at the home.

She worked as an assistant cashier at Steedman Bank. She was a member of Steedman United Methodist Church; Eastern Star 352 in Mokane, where she served as a district deputy grand matron; Callaway Community Hospital Auxiliary Board; the Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society; and was a charter member of Steedman Sunshine Club.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Anita Keely, Centralia; one son, Darrell Krebs, Mokane; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Bruce Bernard will officiate. Burial will be in Steedman Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Steedman Cemetery Association.

TURNER

Jamie Shane Turner, 19,  Jefferson City, died April 10, 2001, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Callaway County.

He was born Dec. 24, 1981, in  Jefferson City, a son of Dana R. "Rick" and Candace Michelle Colter Turner. His parents survive in  Jefferson City.

He attended Eugene High School. A graduate of Show Me Challenge Military Academy, he was an equipment operator for Tri Rinse Inc.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: his fiancée, Rebekah Wood, California; one brother, Justin Turner,  Jefferson City; and maternal grandfather, Don Colter,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Doyle Sager will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to a children's charity of the donor's choice.

VEATCH

Virginia Wyatt Veatch, 91, Fulton, died April 9, 2001, at Fulton Nursing & Rehab Care Center.

She was born July 6, 1909, in Steedman, a daughter of the Rev. James and Eva Garrett Wyatt. She was married May 28, 1940, to Leonard Veatch, who died Nov. 26, 1980.

She attended high school in Fulton. She worked at the Missouri School for the Deaf, then as an L.P.N. and as a night nurse for William Woods College. She operated an antique shop for many years. She was a charter member at the Church of God Holiness in Fulton, where she taught Sunday school and was secretary and treasurer.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of God Holiness. The Rev. E.G. Garrett and the Rev. Kenneth Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.

Memorials are suggested to the Church of God Holiness, Fulton.

PATTERSON

Carlos C. "Pat" Patterson, 68,  Jefferson City, died April 11, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 16, 1932, in Camdenton, a son of Leslie S. and Edna B. Keowen Patterson. He was married Dec. 5, 1953, in New Bloomfield, to Mary Elizabeth Yancey, who survives in  Jefferson City.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, he attended Linn Creek schools and  Jefferson City public schools. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and served in the Missouri Army National Guard from 1974 to 1990.

He was co-owner of P and T Barber Shop from 1963 until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693.

Other survivors include: one son, Samuel L. Patterson, California; one daughter, Cynthia L. Surface,  Jefferson City; one sister, Bessie Pearl Putnam,  Jefferson City; two brothers, Louie Patterson,  Jefferson City, and Raymond Patterson, state of Tennessee; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Doyle Sager and the Rev. Kenneth Mathes will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the Wonderland Camp.

BRITTON

Eva L. Britton, 98, California, died April 10, 2001, at California Care Center.

She was born Feb. 19, 1903, in Moniteau County, a daughter of Joseph and Virginia Frances James Hays. She was married Feb. 6, 1926, in California, to Clarence Britton, who died Jan. 1, 1996.

A homemaker, she attended Lone Oak School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in California and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Flag Spring Cemetery, near California.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to California Senior Center, 107 Versailles Ave., California, Mo. 65018.

ALLEN

Robert Richard Allen, 24, Lake Ozark, died April 11, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

He was born Jan. 22, 1977, in Flagstaff, Ariz., a son of Jerry E. and Lois J. Baker Allen, who survive in Lake Ozark.

Other survivors include: two brothers, Kenny Chappell and Bill Breckenridge, both of Lake Ozark; one sister, Janet Jennings, Crocker; and maternal grandmother Mabel Baker, Lake Ozark.

Services will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
