JOHNSON
Shaun Iver Johnson, 32, Troy, died April 14, 2001, at Lincoln County Medical Center, Troy.
He was born Nov. 24, 1968, in Jerome, Idaho, a son of Allen and Karen Heglund Johnson. His parents survive in Wentzville. He was married July 18, 1998, to Christy Sue Travis, who survives.
He graduated from Williston High School, Williston, N.D., in 1987, and attended the Williston Nazarene Church. He then moved to Minneapolis, where he lived until 1994. He owned and operated Paragon Excavating.
A resident of Missouri since 1994, he was a member of the Gateway Retriever Club, St. Louis. He moved to Troy in 1999.
Other survivors include: one stepson, Dakota Travis, Belle; one stepdaughter, Erica Travis, Belle; and two sisters, Teresa Wagoner, Troy, and Nichelle Johnson, Wentzville.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Troy. The Rev. Gary Berry will officiate. The remains will be cremated.
Visitation will be from 6:30-7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, Troy.
BRANCH
Calvin C. Branch, 73, Stover, died April 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 6, 1927, in Stover, a son of William and Sadie Barnett Branch.
He was self-employed and retired. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include: four sons, Roy Branch, Russellville, Earl Branch and Lanny Branch, both of California, and Robert Maness, Stover; one daughter, Carol Fellows, Tipton; one sister, Nellie Roberts, Independence; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
One son, James Allan Maness, died June 4, 1999.
Private family services will be at a later date. No visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested to his family and can be sent to Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 South Oak St., California, Mo. 65018.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services.
FELDPUSH
James Gregory Feldpush, 57, Kansas City, died April 14, 2001, at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City.
He was born Nov. 20, 1943, in Kansas City, a son of Walter H. and Lela Gertrude Sloan Feldpush.
He was active with the Lykins Neighborhood Association and co-founded Northeast Mobile Crime Watch.
He worked for Evelyn Beauty Supply.
He was a Catholic.
Survivors include one brother, John Charles Feldpush, Orlando, Fla.; one half brother, Richard Wortman, Middleton, Pa.; one half sister, Irene Munchel, Baltimore, Md.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. John Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery, Iberia.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today at Passantino Bros. Chapel, Kansas City. Visitation will also be from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home.
HOOD
William Michael "Mike" Hood, 45, Fulton, died April 10, 2001, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
He was born Oct. 4, 1955, in St. Charles, a son of William R. and Marie Bowen Hood. His mother and stepfather, Marie and Herbert Hood, survive in Deltona, Fla. He was married June 28, 1996, in Auxvasse, to Karen Witt, who survives.
A graduate of Fulton High School, he was employed at Gaspers in Kingdom City.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Brenda Lee Hood, state of Oklahoma; six stepchildren, James Eads, Larry Eads, Randy Eads, Freddie Eads and Jessie Taylor, all of Fulton, and Carl Taylor, of the home; four sisters, Sharon Anderson and Cathy Swanson, both of Franklin, N.C., Ethel Bernard and Janet Derry, both of Deltona; and one brother, Richard Hood, Guatemala.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bruce Williamson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
AYRES
Thelma E. Ayres, 75, Eldon, died April 15, 2001, in Eldon.
She was born May 17, 1925, in Miller County, a daughter of Perry and Mary E. Luttrell Robinette. She was married May 4, 1946, in Versailles, to John F. Ayres, who died in June 19, 1983.
She attended rural schools in Miller County and was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon.
She was a member of the Miller County Historical Society and the D.A.V. Auxiliary of Jefferson City. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter, Betty Jo Kallenbach, Eldon; one son, John M. Ayres, Eldon; one sister, Gladys Luttrell, Iberia; one brother, Russell Robinette, Brumley; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ninth Street Christian Church. The Rev. Roy Weece and Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Community Hospice of Columbia, or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
SEILER
Sister Joanne Seiler, FSM, 92, formerly of Jefferson City, died April 15, 2001, at St. Mary of the Angels Convent of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary, Richmond Heights.
She was born Wilhelmina Anna on March 7, 1909, in Leopold.
After joining the Franciscan Sisters of Mary in 1933, she professed her final vows in 1939. She served as a nurse at St. Mary's Health Center, St. Louis, for 22 years and at St. Mary's Infirmary for three years. She served 17 years at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, where she also was administrative assistant for three years. She coordinated the auxiliary at St. Marys Health Center, Jefferson City, for nine years. Following her retirement in 1985, she volunteered at St. Mary's Health Center until 1999.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Delia, Hazelwood, and Marie Van DeVen, Leopold.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Angels Convent chapel, Richmond Heights. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday with a wake service at 7 p.m.

WHITHAUS
Benjamin F. Whithaus, 72, Morrison, died April 15, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Morrison, a son of Edward and Clara Whertvine Whithaus. He was married March 3, 1951, in Morrison, to Loretta A. Whithaus, who survives.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he owned and operated Shady Acres Gas Station and Dance Hall. He was a rural milk hauler, a farmer and a rural mail carrier. He was a member of St. James United Church of Christ in Morrison, and of the Rural Letter Carriers Association.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jerry Whithaus, Austin, Minn., and Michael Whithaus, Loose Creek; one brother, Orville Whithaus, Chamois; one sister, Gunelda Vehlewald, Morrison; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison. The Rev. Bruce Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
