CARRENDER
Frances Lucille Carrender, 84, Lake Ozark, died April 24, 2001, at Lake Ozark Retirement Center.
She was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Miller County, a daughter of Louie and Nellie Taylor Vernon. She was married Dec. 31, 1941, in Tuscumbia, to Roy L. "Casey" Carrender, who died Dec. 19, 1995.
A graduate of Eldon High School, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Eldon.
Survivors include: one son, Gary L. Carrender, Lake Ozark; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Randall Bunch and the Rev. Bob Buster will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
DICKGRAFE
Clarence Dickgrafe, 81, Jefferson City, died April 24, 2001, at his home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
FISHER
Albert L. Fisher, 92, Tipton, died April 24, 2001, at Bothwell Medical Center, Sedalia.
He was born Aug. 18, 1908, in Fortuna, a son of Dever and Daisy Drake Fisher. He was married Aug. 7, 1942, in Mobile, Ala., to Mary Wood, who survives at the home.
Employed as a carpenter, he had also worked for AT&T for six years. He was a member of the Adkinsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Joneine Buck, Raymore; three sisters, Gladys Rodgers, Dallas, Texas , Faye Williams, Pilot Grove, and Lela Ruth Siegel, New Bloomfield; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will be in Adkinsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Thursday.
PHILLIPS
George D. Phillips, 58, Princeton, formerly of Jefferson City, died April 22, 2001, at Bethany Hospital.
He was born Sept. 7, 1942, in Princeton, a son of George F. and Marjorie Laura Hampshire Phillips.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Princeton. He was a minister of music and a gospel singer. He owned restaurants and was an accountant. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Jefferson City. He graduated from high school in Princeton.
Survivors include: one son, Joseph William Phillips, Fulton; one daughter, Erma Marie Phillips, Kansas City; one stepdaughter, Penny Sue Veltrop, Brazito; one sister, Laura Marie Young, Merriam, Kan.; two grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Coon Cemetery near Princeton.
Memorials are suggested to his children.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlee Middleton Chapel, Princeton.
SCHROEDER
Jeri Schroeder, 62, Taos, died April 23, 2001, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born March 28, 1939, in St. Thomas, a daughter of Henry and Agnes Regina Groner Lueckenotto. She was married May 28, 1960, in Meta, to Edwin Schroeder, who survives at the home.
She attended Merrell University of Beauty Arts and Science and worked as a beautician at Sharper Image Hair Designers. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, both in Taos and the church quilting group.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jason Schroeder, Babbtown, and Eric Schroeder, Taos; two daughters, Karen Bena, Virginia Beach, Va., and Stacia Humphrey, Loose Creek; four brothers, Ed Lueckenotto, Jefferson City, the Rev. Arthur Lueckenotto, Madagascar, Larry Lueckenotto, St. Thomas, and Bob Lueckenotto, Holts Summit; seven sisters, Florentine Hagenhoff and Marie Lueckenotto, both of Meta, Imogene Volmert and Millie Wieberg, both of St. Thomas, Rosaline Bisges, Koeltztown, Dorothy Buechter, St. Anthony, and Norine Brune, Blue Springs; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta.
Memorials are suggested to the Meta Fire and Rescue Comm-Unity Ambulance Teddy Bear Fund.

SPENCER
Earnest E. Spencer, 83, Osage Beach, died April 23, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1917, at Competition, a son of Richard A. and Leona Howell Spencer. He was married to Syble Stamper, who died March 27, 1996.
He worked at McDonell-Douglas Aircraft, retiring as machine shop supervisor after more than 31 years. After retirement, he moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include: two sons, Jim Spencer, Osage Beach, and Sam Spencer, Wentzville; three sisters, Lucille Meier, Maryland Heights, Lou Stamper, Linn Creek, and Eula Stinnett, Rocky Mount; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
One son, Rudy Spencer, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Dennis North will officiate. Burial will be in Percival Cemetery.
BROWN
Kathryn V. Brown, 84, Jefferson City, died April 24, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Oct. 23, 1916, in Brookfield, a daughter of William and Mary Kantlan Fahrenkopf. She was married June 15, 1936, in Brookfield, to Virgil J. Brown, who died Nov. 3, 1984.
She was a 1934 graduate of Brookfield High School. A homemaker, she has been a resident of the Jefferson City area since 1970. She was a member of St. Martins Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Willis F. Brown, Trenton, S. Robert Brown, Chillicothe, and Roger G. Brown, Jefferson City; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons preceded her in death: W. Thomas Brown on May 3, 1988, and Richard Brown in 1948.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Martins Catholic Church. The Rev. Ed Schmidt and the Rev. Brendan Doyle will officiate. The remains will be donated to the University of Missouri Anatomical Board for scientific and educational research.
Memorials are suggested to St. Martins Catholic Church or the School Sisters of Notre Dame, 320 E. Ripa, St. Louis, Mo. 63125.

JOHNSON
Charles Johnson, 78, Versailles, died April 24, 2001, in Versailles.
He was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Warsaw, a son of Benjamin F. and Grace Ella Moreau Johnson. He was married to Juanita Ramsey, who preceded him in death. He was married in 1982 in Versailles to Violet Louise Roe, who survives at the home.
He was a retired sheetmetal worker for Union 36. He attended First Baptist Church, High Point,.
Other survivors include: four sons, Charles Johnson Jr. and Ronald Gene Johnson, both of Kansas City, Kan., Scott Curtus Johnson, of the home, and Aaron Skelton, Joplin; two daughters, Elle Mae Klatt, Russellville, and Welcome Nora Lay, Lebanon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

JONES
Ronnie J. Jones, 52, Jefferson City, died April 26, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Springfield, a son of Ernie and Ila Scott Jones. He was married Feb. 13, 1970, in Jefferson City to Wanda S. Beshears, who survives at the home.
A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1967, he was a 1966 graduate of Camdenton High School. He graduated from Capital Business College and Lincoln University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
He was employed by the Missouri Department of Social Services for 30 years until his retirement as a chief accountant in 1999. He was a member of the VFW, Roy Sone Post 1003.
Other survivors include: two sons, Bradley K. Jones and Darren A. Jones, both of the home; one daughter, Holly L. Jones, of the home; and two brothers, Jack L. Jones, Eldon, and Jim D. Jones, Ironton.
Private family services will be Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Van Mitchell will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday.
