HECKMANN

Catherine Gertrude Heckmann, 80,  Jefferson City, died May 8, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Aug. 23, 1918, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Clement and Caroline Henke Schnieders. She was married April 27, 1946, in  Jefferson City, to Stephen P. Heckmann, who died March 13, 1988.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville.

Survivors include: one sister, Angeline Forck,  Jefferson City; and one brother, Richard Schnieders,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael A. Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

KROSEL

Victor C. Krosel, 84, Osage Beach, died May 8, 1999, at Lake Ozark General Hospital in Osage Beach.

He was born Nov. 4, 1914, in West Mineral, Kan., a son of Roxie and Mary Krosel. He was married July 24, 1953, in Berwyn, Ill., to Jeanne Sunday, who survives.

He was a supervisor for General Motors Locomotive. He was a member of the Harper Chapel United Methodist Church in Osage Beach.

Other survivors include: two sons, Bruce A. Krosel, Palatine, Ill., and Robert R. Krosel, Palatine, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Harper Chapel United Methodist Church, Osage Beach. Burial will be in the Lake Memorial Gardens, Osage Beach.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.

Memorials are suggested to the Harper Chapel United Methodist Church.

McKAY

Frances E. McKay, 80,  Jefferson City, died May 10, 1999, at Oak Tree Villa Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 24, 1918, in Centertown, a daughter of Roy E. and Nell Anderson Herrick. She was married Nov. 19, 1959, in  Jefferson City, to Neil D. McKay, who died Aug. 12, 1994.

A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, she graduated from Centertown High School. She was employed as secretary-treasurer at McKay Motors until her retirement in 1975.

She was a member of First Christian Church and the Ruth Circle.

Survivors include one son, Bruce McKay,  Jefferson City, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Lawrence Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.

PAYNE

Kenneth "Dudley" Payne, 63,  Jefferson City, died May 9, 1999, in Rocky Mount.

He was born Nov. 10, 1935, in Waynesville, a son of Glenn and Ruby Hendrix Payne. He was married July 8, 1954, in  Jefferson City, to Mary Margaret Surface, who survives at the home.

He was a 1953 graduate of Russellville High School. He was employed for 35 years with the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he retired in December 1991 as the office manager of the Right of Way Division. He was past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge No. 513 and was a member of the Association of Missouri Retired Employees.

Other survivors include: two sons, Kenneth M. Payne and David L. Payne, both of  Jefferson City; one daughter, Cindy L. Comstock,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Mary Lou Neal, Florrisant, and Joann Petty,  Jefferson City; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One granddaughter preceded him in death.

Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home,  Jefferson City. The Rev. Mark West will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.

WALTERS

Flora E. Walters, 91, Decaturville, died May 6, 1999, at her home.

She was born Feb. 1, 1908, in Camden County, a daughter of Perry and Mary Zigliar Cullen. She was married July 3, 1926, in Linn Creek, to Wilbur Walters, who died Jan. 6, 1982.

She was a lifelong resident of Camden County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three sons, Glen Walters, Fresno, Calif., and Gilbert Walters and David Walters, both of Camdenton; three daughters, Mary Eveline Newell, Lebanon, Betty Jo McGuire, Montreal, and Betty Lou Rogers, Camdenton; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, one grandson and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Burns will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Allee-Reed Funeral Home in Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

WUKASCH

Angela Joy Wukasch, 59,  Jefferson City, died May 11, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Owensville, a daughter of Orville and Em-ily Pietraschke Maples.

Her mother and step-father, Emily and Vernon Kirkwood, survive in Wardsville. She was married October 1957 to Mackie Lee Graham, who died in 1987.

She attended schools in Owensville and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Church of Christ and a former member of the Moose Lodge.

Other survivors include: three sons, Billy Joe Graham and David Graham, both of  Jefferson City, and Steve Graham, Wardsville; two daughters, Julie Allmon,  Jefferson City, and Jill McCollom, Brumley; one sister, Carolyn Beck,  Jefferson City; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen H. Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Tre Anthony Graham Trust Fund, c/o Mid-America Bank, Wardsville.

STOGSDILL

Sam Stogsdill Sr., 83, Eldon, died May 8, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Oct. 4, 1915, in Camden County, a son of Benjamin F. and Ellen F. Kelsay Stogsdill. He was married Sept. 7, 1936, in Vienna, to Imogene Lucille Martin, who died Sept. 7, 1982.

He was a member of Eldon VFW Post 2442 and was a self-employed painter.

Survivors include: five sons, Jim Stogsdill, Wentzville, Larry Stogsdill, Sammy Stogsdill and Tom Stogsdill, all of Eldon, and Doug Stogsdill, Marshall; two daughters, Karen Porter and Elaine Scott, both of Eldon; one sister, Shirley Quinn, Heartbury; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

One son, Kenneth Robert Stogsdill, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. His body was cremated. Graveside services will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

MARTINE

Margaret T. Martine, 91, Eldon, died May 11, 1999, at California Care Center.

She was born Sept. 27, 1907, in High Point, a daughter of Lloyd J. and Bertha Belle Reichel Tising. She was married May 23, 1936, in California, to Lawrence "Frenchie" Martine, who died Sept. 29, 1985.

She was a 1924 graduate of California Aurora High School. She graduated from Central Missouri State Teacher's College in 1932 with a degree in education.

She taught school in California for nine years and was principal for three years. She taught at High Point for 25 years and also taught at Grant School, Red Brush and Latham. She helped write the 1947 Education Standards for the State of Missouri.

She was a member of High Point Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school and sang in the church choir. She was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association.

Survivors include; one daughter, Carol Beth Martin, Eldon; one sister, Maxine Bangert, Springfield; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at High Point Baptist Church. The Rev. Ron Foley and the Rev. Don Almond will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

Memorials are suggested to High Point Baptist Church, High Point, Mo. 65042; or the American Cancer Society, c/o Judy Allee, P.O. Box 333, Latham, Mo. 65050.

TICHELKAMP

Norman E. "Speed" Tichelkamp, 79, Holts Summit, died May 11, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Honey Creek, a son of Noah and Dora Propst Tichelkamp. He was married Jan. 18, 1942, in the state of Alabama, to Claudia Ruth Jones, who died Jan. 8, 1996.

He attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Honey Creek, and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a heavy equipment operator for Union Electric, where he installed gas lines for 37 years until his retirement.

Survivors include: three daughters, Claudia Cook,  Jefferson City, Norma Powell, Sibley, and Nina Russell, Holts Summit; two sons, Glenn Tichelkamp, Brighton, and Dennis Tichelkamp, Springfield; one brother, Henry Tichelkamp,  Jefferson City; one sister, Dorothy Lansford,  Jefferson City; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Holts Summit. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
