STINE

Brenda Stine, 46, Macks Creek, died May 23, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born June 29, 1954, in Evansville, Ind., a daughter of Otto and May Earehart Schwandt. She was married Oct. 14, 2000, to Michael Stine, who survives in Macks Creek.

She graduated from high school in Evansville. She later moved to Camdenton and then moved to Macks Creek six years ago.

She attended the First Baptist Church, Macks Creek. She was a member of the National T Bucket Association Car Club.

Other survivors include: two sons, Scott Tryon, Decaturville, and Philip Tryon, Camdenton; two daughters, Julie Allee, Warrensburg, and Marie Tryon, Linn Creek; and two grandchildren.

One granddaughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Macks Creek. The Rev. Dinzel Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

WILLIAMS

Leona M. Williams, 69, Lake Ozark, died May 23, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Hampton, Iowa, a daughter of Clarence and Jenny Pink Leedom. She was married Sept. 21, 1952, in Hampton, to Don Williams, who survives at the home.

A homemaker, she graduated from Hampton High School, Hampton.

Other survivors include: one son, John Williams, St. Louis; two brothers, Delmar Leedom, Sheffield, Iowa, and Keith Leedom, Hampton; two sisters, Patricia Brant, Hampton, and Barbara Campbell, Odgen, Utah; and three grandchildren.

Two daughters, Lynda Marie Williams and Karen Louise Williams, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach. The Rev. Dean Clemmer will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.

WUNDERLICH

Clara Caroline Wunderlich, 89,  Jefferson City, died May 24, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born March 24, 1912, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Jacob and Eugenie Nieghorn Schmutzler. She was married Feb. 25, 1936, in  Jefferson City, to James H. Wunderlich, who died March 26, 1990.

A  Jefferson City High School graduate, she worked for International Shoe, was a co-owner of Missouri Auto Parts and worked for Arden's Interiors. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member and past president of Trinity Lutheran Women's Auxiliary and Circle Two. She volunteered with the Lutheran Braille Workers, and worked with the Mount Hope Extension Club.

Survivors include: one son, James E. Wunderlich,  Jefferson City; two daughters, Nancy J. Duncan,  Jefferson City, and Judith M. Mueller, Oak Brook, Ill.; one sister, Lillian Nichols,  Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor John Hobratschk and Pastor Jerome Brownlee will officiate. Entombment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home and from noon-1 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, 803 Swifts Highway,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.

TURNER

Charles R. "Blue Buzzard" Turner, 61, Holts Summit, died May 24, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 2, 1939, in Westchester, Pa., a son of Charles W. and Bertha Arnold Turner. He was married June 21, 1985, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Linda White , who survives at the home.

He worked for J.H. Ware as a diesel mechanic and truck driver. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Holts Summit.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Donna J. Hull and Leslie Stien, both of Fulton, and Donna L. Mayberry, Elkton, Md.; three sons, James Roberson and Alan Jarvis, both of Fulton, and John Jarvis, New Bloomfield; one sister, Joan Truno, Newark, Del.; one brother, William Turner, Bear, Del.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Jake Cox will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Charles Turner Memorial Fund, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas, Fulton, Mo. 65251.

PARKER

Love B. Parker, 91, Sanger, Texas , formerly of Dixon, died April 1, 2001, in Sanger.

She was born Feb. 2, 1910, in Springfield, a daughter of George and Love Baxter Widman. She was married Feb. 13, 1930, in Newburg, to Gayle Thomas Parker, who died May 19, 1953.

She was a member of Affton Christian Church, Affton. She was active in the senior citizens program and the County Older Residents program. She taught for 30 years, retiring from Bayless Elementary School in 1976.

Survivors include: two sons, George Parker, Tahlequah, Okla., and Norman Parker, Dayton, Ohio; one daughter, Love Pearl Yates, Denton, Texas ; one sister, Elizabeth Gremp, Waco, Texas ; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Dixon Cemetery. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.

OESTERLY

Ronald "Ronnie" R. Oesterly, 67, California, died May 24, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Moniteau County, a son of Walter Herman and Lorene Rosetta Baker Oesterly. He was married March 1, 1957, in Boonville to Margaret Albertin, who survives of the home.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in Germany during 1954-1956. He was a graduate of California High School. He was a farmer and a teamster. He worked for Prost Builders in heavy construction for 33 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #833. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, near California, where he served as president of the consistory. He served as director of the California Rural Fire District, director of the German Salem Aid Association, president of the Immanuel Cemetery Association and board member for Harris Cemetery.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Brenda Oesterly and Joy Oesterly Penny, both of California; two brothers, Charles Oesterly and Gary Oesterly, both of  Jefferson City.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Alan Oesterly.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Salem United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Schulte and the Rev. Chester Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery, California, with military honors.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

Memorials are suggested to the Salem United Church of Christ, c/o Connie Souden, P.O. Box 12, McGirk, MO, 65055-0012.

DONEHUE

Gloria Ann Rose Remick Donehue, 62,  Jefferson City, died May 25, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Crookston, Minn., a daughter of Roy J. and Sabina Bendel Remick. She was married Oct. 17, 1959, in  Jefferson City, to Robert U. Donehue, who survives at the home.

She was employed with the Missouri Department of Revenue. She was a receptionist with Lisle Ramsey Photography for 26 years, and was currently working for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

A 1956 graduate of St. Peter High School, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Immaculate Club, Ala-non, St. Ann Sodality and the Friends Card Club.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Julie Ann Porting,  Jefferson City; two sons, Robert A. Donehue,  Jefferson City, and Troy Remick Donehue, Belle; three sisters, Carol LePage, Warroad, Minn., and Sally Heislen and Colleen "Mutsy" Cederburg, both of  Jefferson City; one brother, John Remick, St. Joseph; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Gregory L. Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.

MEYERPETER

Christine Mary Meyerpeter, 81, St. Thomas, died May 25, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 3, 1920, in St. Thomas, the daughter of Herman and Bertha Boessen Meyerpeter.

She attended the St. Thomas Catholic School, St. Thomas. She was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Thomas, the St. Ann's Sodality and the Over 50 Club.

She was a homemaker and farmer. She was also employed by the St. Thomas Ball Factory.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Antweiler and the Monsignor Bernard Boessen will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Parish Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Thomas School fund.

Visitation is from 12-2 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Thomas. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 1:45 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

BLANKENSHIP

Trena Blankenship, 79, North Little Rock, Ark., died May 25, 2001 at Baptist Memorial Medical Center, North Little Rock, Ark.

She was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Eldon, the daughter of Ellis Raymond and Beulah Greenup Bunch. She was married Dec. 24, 1941, in Miller county to Basil Blankenship, who preceded her in death Aug. 6, 1991.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church, Pine Bluff, Ark.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary Blankenship, North Little Rock, Ark., and Gregory Blankenship, Jacksonville, Ark.; one daughter, Trena Blankenship, North Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Lucille Beeves, Shawnee, Kan.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
