VEILE

Nancy A. Musolino Veile, 66, St. Louis, died June 7, 2001.

She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Quincy, Ill., a daughter of Louis J. and Goldie Musolino. She was married April 23, 1952, in Quincy, to Richard A. Veile, who survives.

She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrow. Most recently she belonged to Most Precious Blood parish.

Other survivors include: four sons, Stephen Veile,  Jefferson City, and Gregory Veile, Joseph Veile and Donald Veile, all of St. Louis; one daughter, Deborah Walters, St. Louis; one brother, Frank Musolino, Quincy; two sisters, Mary Kay McGhee, Urbana, Ohio, and Mary Lou Miller, Omaha, Ark.; and 14 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today at Kutis South County Chapel, St. Louis. There will be a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

WHITE

William White , 61,  Jefferson City, died June 5, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born June 17, 1939, in Slater, a son of Hadley and Mary Anna Cook White .

He was a member of St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church, Slater.

Survivors include: three sons, William Edward White , Michael Eugene White -Gunnerson and Travis Stevenson, all of Sedalia; three daughters, Donna Bradford, Sedalia, Mary Maupins,  Jefferson City, and Velinda White , state of Florida; one sister, Marie Rucker, Boonville; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

One son and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home, Marshall. Anna Falls will officiate. The remains were cremated.

EASTEP

Dorothy Mae Eastep, 72, Versailles, died June 7, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born June 9, 1928, in Bush, a daughter of Claude J. and Martha Ellen Early Wheeler.

She was a cook at the Kidwell Home in Versailles. She later owned and operated Grandma's Kitchen in Versailles.

Survivors include: two daughters, Judy Rae Hope, Versailles, and Bonnie Marie Stanfield, Tyler, Texas ; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. The Rev. Rod Campbell will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

PRUETZEL

James Louis Pruetzel, 54, Camdenton, died June 8, 2001, at his home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1947, near Affton, a son of Louis and Pearl Westphal Pruetzel. His mother survives in Affton. He was married March 1, 1974, to Kelley Bender, who survives at the home.

An Affton High School graduate, he worked for Herbert and Herndon Construction Company and later for Scott's Heating and Air Conditioning, which he eventually co-owned. A member of the Army National Guard, he served on the board of advisors for Lake Area Career and Technical Center in Camdenton. He had also served as president of the Lake Area Mustang Club.

He is also survived by one sister, Alice Staas, Affton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Community Christian Church, Camdenton. The Rev. Tracy Carroll will officiate.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

WHITE

Services were May 11 for Charles Henry "Chuck" White , 73, Rancho Bernardo, Calif., formerly of Hartsburg, who died May 4, 2001.

He was born July 9, 1927, in Hartsburg, a son of James O. and Beulah E. White . He was married to Mamie Marie Coonce, who preceded him in death. He was later married to Eileen White , who survives.

A 1945 graduate of  Jefferson City High School, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and a former resident of Naperville, Ill. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railway in Chicago for 40 years, retiring in 1986 as general manager-sales and service.

A resident of Rancho Bernardo for eight years, he was a member of Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church and Lions International. He was a Mason.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Myra Loe Bailey, Paradise, Calif.; three sons, James Wade White , San Mateo, Calif., Richard Andrew White , Los Gatos, Calif., and Randall Charles White , Naperville; one sister, Nellie Again, Columbia; one brother, Kenneth White , St. Louis; and seven grandchildren.

Services were at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Lions International.

Arrangements are under the direction of McLeod Mortuary, Escondido, Calif.

SUMMERS

Roselyn W. Summers, 90, Port Charlotte, Fla., died June 8, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital, Port Charlotte, Fla.

She was born Jan. 30, 1911, in Metaline Falls, Wash., a daughter of John W. Wood and Zetta Smith Wood. She was married July 5, 1928, in Steelville, to James A. Denton, who died in 1932. She was married June 15, 1936, in Waterloo, Ill., to Edward D. Summers, who died April 19, 1989.

She was a graduate of Jones Commercial College, St. Louis.

A homemaker, she was employed as a secretary with Home Owner's Loan Company in St. Louis, from 1933-1936; and in the Perfecting Room of the Missouri State Legislature.

She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and a former officer of the Morning Music Club.

Survivors include: three daughters, Jane E. Meyer, Port Charlotte, Fla., Mary E. Williams, Lenox, Kathleen Monzie, Missoula, Mont.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association; the Helias Foundation; or St. Joseph Cathedral.

TERRY

Chris Terry, 16, California, died June 8, 2001, in a car accident.

He was born April 27, 1985, in St. Joseph, a son of Martin Terry and April O'Rourke Terry. His father survives in St. Joseph. His mother, April, and stepfather, Chris Arnett, survive in California.

He was a junior at California High School. He worked for Norm's Phillip 66 Station in California.

Survivors include: one sister, Kylee Ann Terry, California; one step-brother, Ross Christopher Arnett; two step-sisters, Alicia Ann and Chelsea Louise Arnett, all of  Jefferson City; maternal grandmother, Karen Eberhardt, St. Joseph; paternal grandmother, Darlene Terry, St. Joseph; paternal grandfather, Lee Terry, Hemple; step-grandparents, Gary and Janie Arnett, California.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, California. The Rev. David Nicholson and the Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church.

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Kylee Ann Terry Trust Fund, or the Family of Chris Terry to establish a scholarship fund.

SCHLUP

Rebecca Ann Schlup, 54, Wardsville, died June 8, 2001, at her home.

She was born March 19, 1947, in Jefferon City, a daughter of Louis "Ben" Bemboom and Doris Marie Shively Bemboom. She was married Dec. 12, 1981, in  Jefferson City, to Paul James Schlup, who survives at the home.

She was employed in risk management for several years with Missouri Hospital Association. She was later employed with Missouri Adjutant General's office and Manpower, Inc. She was a 1965 graduate of Northtown High School in Kansas City. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. in 1975. She served with the Air Force from 1965-1967, retiring with the rank of Airman First Class. She served with Missouri National Guard from 1980-1982. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Tuesday Morning Bible Study. She was a charter member of the Women's Vietnam Memorial and was an avid skydiver.

Other survivors include: a son, Christopher R. Spinelli, Biloxi, Miss.; a step-daughter, Debbie Rosslan,  Jefferson City; three step-sons, Paul J. Schlup II,  Jefferson City, Gary D. Schlup, Tipton, Patrick A. Schlup, Linn; a sister, Mary Casto, Anderson, Ind.; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum. The Rev. Doyle M. Sager will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the Rebecca Schlup Education Fund for her grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

WILSON

Winfurd Lee "Wimpy" Wilson, 72, Stover, died June 8, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born June 26, 1928, in Versailles, a son of Ben and Mary Viola Stoggdell. He was married Nov. 23, 1978, in Versailles, to Donna Sue Nowell, who survives at the home.

He was employed as a tree trimmer with Hentges Tree Service of  Jefferson City for many years. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1951-1956. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include: one son, Kevin Lee Wilson, Manchester, Iowa; one daughter, Sheila Maxwell, Eldon; four sisters, Myrtle Stepp and Lizzie Simmons, both of California; Naomi Peoples, Versailles, Sarah Sidebottom, Kansas City; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. Fred Stamps will officiate. Burial with military honors will be at Ritchie Cemetery, south of Versailles.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Wimpy Wilson memorial fund.

O'NEAL

Samuel O'Neal Jr., 60, Fulton, died June 8, 2001, at Columbia Regional Hospital Skilled Nursing.

He was born Feb. 19, 1941, in Columbia, a son of Samuel O'Neal and Sarah Beard O'Neal. He was married to Evelyn O'Neal, who survives at the home.

He graduated from  Jefferson City High School. He attended Lincoln University. He was a member of Second Baptist Church,  Jefferson City. He was formerly employed at Harbison-Walker Refactories, Fulton. He was a youth League baseball coach in Fulton.

Other survivors include: one son, Flynn R. Nickens,  Jefferson City; one daughter Tiffanie Lancaster, Fulton; step-sons, Rodney McBride and Ronnell McBride, both of Dallas, Texas , Donnell McBride and Robert Davis, both of Columbia, Reginald Nickens, Springfield, Rodney Nickens, Fulton, Michael Nickens, Fulton; step-daughters, Vestamae Lawson, Fulton, Fredetta Jackson, Fulton, Angela McBride and Kimberly Davis, both of Columbia; and several grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church, Fulton. Burial will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Warren Funeral Chapel.
