CORNETT
Shelby Lynn Cornett, infant daughter of Steven Cornett and Jaime Gregory, died shortly after birth July 10, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
Her parents survive in Eldon.
Other survivors include: one brother, Christopher Cornett, Joplin; two sisters, Cheyenne Cornett, Eldon, and Keisha Cornett, Joplin; maternal grandfather, James Isom, Steelville; and two maternal great-grandmothers, Nadine Brown, Steelville, and Evelyn Johnson, Marshall.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Rocky Mount Union Cemetery. The Rev. Wilford Whittle will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon.
FRAELICH
Golden Duncan Fraelich, 94, Linn, died July 10, 2001, at Green Meadows Health Care Center, Linn.
She was born July 21, 1906, in Hope, a daughter of Edward and Catherine Davis Duncan. She was married in 1972 in St. Louis to Fred Fraelich, who died in 1979.
She graduated from high school in Sullivan.
She was a member of the Oklahoma Church of Christ, Osage County, and was a member of the "Hope Club" in Hope . She also volunteered at Christian homes while living in St. Louis.
Survivors include one nephew and seven nieces.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oklahoma Church of Christ. The Rev. Mark Gregor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.
Memorials are suggested to the Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
HAAF
William Joseph Haaf, 66, Jefferson City, died July 11, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Jefferson City, a son of Joseph and Lillian Goedde Haaf.
A 1952 graduate of St. Peter High School, he worked for many years in the printing department of the Missouri Office of Administration. After retiring, he worked for Herb Haaf Heating and Cooling. He served in the Missouri National Guard from 1952-1990.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; the Fraternal Order of Eagles; American Legion; Knights of Columbus; and the AmVets. He also volunteered at Camp Wonderland at Lake of the Ozarks.
He is survived by three brothers, Herb Haaf, Taos, and John Haaf and Charles Haaf, both of Jefferson City.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Gregory L. Higley will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Camp Wonderland.
HOLST
Roy Nicholas Holst, 83, Versailles, died July 10, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 23, 1918, in Proctor, a son of Leo N. and Nora Lee Martin Holst. He was married March 7, 1942, to Lois L. Silvey, who survives at the home.
He was a building superintendent for Firestone Tire and Rubber, Kansas City. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Versailles.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ron Holst, Jefferson City, and Jim Holst, Lenexa, Kan.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Holst Cemetery, Gravois Mills.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
YOWELL
Margrette Louise Hoffman Yowell, 79, Newburg, died July 10, 2001, at Hospice Friendship House, Jefferson City.
She was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Wichita, Kan., a daughter of Lewis and Sarah Sandell Hoffman. She was married Feb. 15, 1942, to William Jennings Yowell, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Newburg.
Other survivors include: one son, Raymond Lindsey Yowell, Doolittle; two daughters, Wilma Yowell Steinman and Lynda K. Allee, both of Jefferson City; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
One son, William Jennings Yowell Jr., preceded her in death.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla. The Rev. Larry Paris will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice Friendship House.
DOBBS
Maurine C. Dobbs, 76, Mountain View, died July 12, 2001, at St. John's Regional Hospital, Springfield.
She was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Cord, Ark., a daughter of Arthur and Katie Pickens Coleman. She was married June 18, 1955 in West Memphis, Ark., to James C. Dobbs, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Lyon (formerly Arkansas) College, Batesville, in 1948. She moved to Mountain View in 1966 and taught elementary school before retiring.
Survivors include: one son Jay Dobbs, Jefferson City; one daughter, Mary Beth Dobbs-Forbis, Jefferson City; one brother, John Duane Coleman, Little Rock, Ark.; and two sisters, Ruth Evelyn Forester, Jonesboro, Ark., and Laura Sellars, Sarasota, Fla.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Mountain View. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Duncan Funeral Home, Mountain View.
Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church.
HUNZIKER
Donald Harold Hunziker, 41, Centertown, died July 10, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 30, 1960, in Jefferson City, a son of Harold M. and Eileen Frances Seidel Hunziker. His mother, Eileen Mills, survives in Jefferson City. He was married Dec. 7, 1991, in Versailles, to Tara Smith, who survives in Versailles.
He was a 1978 graduate of Cole County R-1 High School in Russellville. A welder, he was a member of the Concord Pentecostal Church of God, Jefferson City.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Bethany Renee Hunziker and Virginia Eileen Hunziker, both of the home, and Destinee Hunziker, Liberty; and two sons, Mark Hunziker and Joshua Hunziker, both of Liberty.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Centertown Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Owsley will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Bethany and Ginny Hunziker Memorial Fund.

SMITH
Daniel Howard Smith, 55, Stafford, Va., died July 11, 2001, in Conway, Ark.
He was born Sept. 5, 1945, in Boonville, a son of Melvin W. Sr. and Maryleigh Martin Smith. He was married May 22, 1993, in Stafford, to Betty Browning Newsom.
He worked as a telecommunications engineer and was a Vietnam veteran.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert Newsom, Jerry Newsom and Doug Newsom, all of Stafford; four daughters, Lisa Smith Love, St. Louis, Diana Hall, Fulton, Gail Kelly, Eugene, Ore., and Roberta Hoffman, Mexico; two sisters, Mary Gray Grubb, Centralia, and Martina Leigh Smith, Boonville; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Markland-Gardner Funeral Home, New Franklin. Don Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, New Franklin.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
PRENGER
Deloris F. Prenger, 58, Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Jefferson City, died July 11, 2001, at her home.
She was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Henley, a daughter of August and Virgie Sanning Frank. Her parents survive in New Bloomfield. She was married Dec. 31, 1964, in Fulton, to Leonard A. Prenger, who survives at the home.
She was a 1960 graduate of New Bloomfield High School.
She was co-owner and a broker of House of Real Estate, Jefferson City. She worked at the attorney general's office and worked as secretary to the editor of the Missouri Ruralist. She was a member of the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors; the Missouri Association of Realtors; and the National Association of Realtors.
Other survivors include: one son, John M. Prenger, Holts Summit; one daughter, Pamela P. Wilson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three brothers, Leland Frank and Lennie Frank, both of Holts Summit, and Lyman Frank, New Bloomfield; one sister, Kay Verslues, Jefferson City; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
