ZYCHINSKI

James A. Zychinski, 61, died July 14, 2001, at his home in Camdenton.

He was born Feb. 1, 1940, a son of Joseph and Marie Trudzinski Zychinski. His mother survives. He was married to Carol A. Vien, who survives at the home.

He worked for AmerenUE for 30 years before retiring in 1996. He also lived in St. Louis.

Other survivors include: three sons, Pete Zychinski, Tom Zychinski and Steve Zychinski; two daughters, Pat Faust and Nancy Zychinski; one brother, Rick Zychinski; two sisters, Mary Byers and Barb Presson; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, St. Louis. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. today at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, St. Louis.

Memorial are suggested to Cardinal Glennons Children's Hospital.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

SCHAEPERKOETTER

Mary Gay Huot Schaeperkoetter, 41, Owensville, died July 14, 2001, at her home.

She was born Aug. 31, 1959, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Robert and Oma Lansford Huot, who survive in Linn. She was married June 2, 1984, in Linn, to Brian Schaeperkoetter, who survives at the home.

A former Linn resident, she was a member of Community Christian Church, Linn, where she taught Sunday school. She was a first-grade teacher in the Owensville R-2 School District. She was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association; Owensville CTA; and Delta Zeta Sorority.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Megan Schaeperkoetter and Molly Schaeperkoetter, both of the home; one son, Brett Schaeperkoetter, of the home; three sisters, Sue Ritchhart, Carrollton, Bobbie Berger, Owensville, and Bonnie Baker, Linn; and one brother, Robb Huot, Linn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Christian Church, Linn. The Rev. Barry Hoskins will officiate. Burial will be in Owensville City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

BROWN

Joseph J. Brown, 68, Sunrise Beach, died July 15, 2001, at Camdenton Windsor Estates, Camdenton.

He was born March 12, 1933, in Kansas City.

He had lived in Kansas City and moved to Sunrise Beach in 1991. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include: his adopted family, the Huses of Lenexa, Kan.; Melody Anderson, Camdenton; and two sons, Kevin Brown, Gardner, Kan., and Jon Brown, Shawnee Mission, Kan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

CLEMENS

Mark Lee Clemens, 45, Chicago, died July 13, 2001, in Chicago, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Nov. 27, 1955, in Kansas City, a son of Ray and Kaye Morris Clemens. His parents survive in Camdenton. He was married Feb. 14, 1998, in Las Vegas, to Sally Smith, who survives at the home.

He worked in commercial construction.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Cassie Garrison and Kristen Garrison, both of Osage Beach; one brother, Larry Clemens, Camdenton; and three sisters, Janet Metz, Lexington, Debbie Orear, Springfield, and Sandra Shupe, Linn Creek.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Wayne Cooper will officiate.

GANN

Graveside services were Friday for Barbara Jane Gann, 53, Waynesville, who died July 7, 2001 at Life Care Center, Waynesville.

She was born July 10, 1947, in Long Beach, Calif., a daughter of Nesbit E. and Martha E. Dain Jarrard. Her mother, Martha E. Jarrad, survives in Waynesville. She was married Jan. 19, 1971, in Miami, Okla., to Preston E. Gann, who died in 1996.

She graduated from Waynesville High School and attended the University of Missouri-Rolla, Lincoln University and Southwest Missouri State University. She worked for the Department of Economic Development.

Other survivors include: two sons, Anthony J. Gann, Waynesville, and Dale E. Gann,  Jefferson City; one sister, Bette "Jeanne" Young, Waynesville; and two grandchildren.

Services were in Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements were the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

LaFOREST

Genevieve B. LaForest, 87, Fulton, died July 15, 2001, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab.

She was born Jan. 3, 1914, in Quantico, Va., a daughter of Joseph and Margaret Maddock LaForest.

She worked in the claims department for American General Insurance Company. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fulton.

Survivors include: three brothers, James LaForest, Eugene LaForest and Robert LaForest, all of St. Louis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fulton. The Rev. Shannon Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Starkenburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 700 Highway Z, Fulton, Mo. 65251, or to a charity of the donor's choice.

OTT

Lucy E. Ott, 73,  Jefferson City, died July 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born July 30, 1927, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Floyd and Myrtle Elrod Walker. She was married July 13, 1943, in St. Charles, to Oscar "Ben" Ott, who died Jan. 1, 2000.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693 Auxiliary.

Survivors include: three daughters, Sue Vieth and Pam Sonius, both of  Jefferson City and Danita Hall, Holts Summit; two brothers, Jack Walker and Elmo Walker, both of  Jefferson City; one sister, Dorothy Cook, Belle; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

One grandchild preceded her in death.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Rudolph W. Beard will officiate. Entombment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.

Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.

PRENGER

Deloris F. Prenger, 58, Long Beach, Calif., formerly of  Jefferson City, died July 11, 2001, at her home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Henley, a daughter of August and Virgie Sanning Frank. Her parents, Virgie and Claude Reiter, survive in New Bloomfield. She was married Dec. 31, 1964, in Fulton, to Leonard A. Prenger, who survives at the home.

She was a 1960 graduate of New Bloomfield High School. She was co-owner/broker of House of Real Estate. She worked for the Office of the Missouri Attorney General and as secretary to the editor of the Missouri Ruralist.

She was a member of the  Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors, the Missouri Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Other survivors include: one son, John M. Prenger, Holts Summit; one daughter, Pamela P. Wilson,  Oklahoma City; three brothers, Leland Frank and Lennie Frank, both of Holts Summit, and Lyman Frank, New Bloomfield; one sister Kay Verslues,  Jefferson City; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Kaiser Permanente Tri-Central - Orange County Hospice, 12200 Bellflower Blvd., Downey, Calif., 90242; the National Lupus Foundation; or the American Cancer Society.

ROTH

Fred E. Roth, 82, Montreal, died July 16, 2001, at Windsor Estates, Camdenton.

He was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Huntersville, Minn., a son of Peter and Pearl Drake Roth. He was married to Audrey Clark, who preceded him in death.

He served in the Army during World War II. He worked on the family farm in  Oklahoma and later moved to Montreal.

He attended Pleasant Hill Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tina Labois, Grand Rapids, Minn.; two stepsons, Roy Clay Murphy, Smithville, and Earl Murphy; three sisters, Ester Holzrichter, Guymon, Okla., Florence Sorter, Forgan, Okla., and Grace Stephens, Montreal; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, one stepson, Tommy Murphy, and an infant grandson.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Hill Church. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

SCHROEDER

Braden Gregory Schroeder, infant son of Greg and Cheryl Schroeder, Holts Summit, was stillborn July 14, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

Other survivors include: paternal grandparents, Ralph and Susie Schroeder,  Jefferson City; maternal grandparents, Sylvester and Mary Kesel, St. Elizabeth; paternal great-grandparents, Sylvester and Nellie Mae Schwaller, Holts Summit, and Elsie Schroeder,  Jefferson City; and maternal great-grandmother, Alice Kesel, St. Elizabeth.

Private services will be Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Elskamp will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Braden Schroeder Memorial Fund.
