BITTICK
Services were today for Brenda Lee Bittick, 57, Centertown, who died July 19, 2001, at her home.
She was born June 8, 1944, in Jefferson City. She was raised by Jim and Mary Hill. She was married April 8, 1961, in Jefferson City, to James O. "Jim" Bittick, who died March 8, 2001.
She attended a country school near Jefferson City. She was a receiving clerk at Bass Pro Shop for 10 years and later worked as a waitress at Johnny's Butcher Shop until 1999.
She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Kenneth Bittick, Springfield, Robert Bittick, Centertown, and Michael Bittick, Jefferson City; one daughter, Tanoah Arbuckle, Tremont, Miss.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Services were at St. Martin's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edwin Schmidt officiated. Burial was in St. Martins Cemetery.
Memorial are suggested to St. Martin's Catholic Church, 7184 St. Martin's Ave., Jefferson City 65101.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
BRUEMMER
Mathilda Marie "Tillie" Bruemmer, 94, Wardsville, died July 21, 2001 at Westphalia Retirement Center.
She was born Nov. 20, 1906, in Wardsville, a daughter of Herman J. and Helenea Prenger Schnieders. She was married April 14, 1926, in Wardsville, to Lawrence Louis Bruemmer, who died Sept. 30, 1989.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, the Married Ladies Sodality, Quilting Association and the Wardsville Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rosemary Schulte, Jefferson City; six sons, Victor F. Bruemmer, Leonard H. Bruemmer, Herbert J. Bruemmer, Robert R. Bruemmer, Earl L. Bruemmer and Lawrence Bruemmer Jr., all of Jefferson City; 41 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Leroy Bruemmer and Bernard Bruemmer, and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. Louis E. Dorn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Visitation also will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Building Fund or to Masses.
MANN
Fern Mae Mann, 86, Camdenton, died July 20, 2001, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born June 6, 1915, near Old Linn Creek, a daughter of George and Stella Mae Pierce Mann.
A lifelong resident of the Camdenton area, she graduated from Camdenton High School and worked for Blair Cedar and Novelty. She was a member of Community Christian Church, Camdenton.
Survivors include: two sisters, Ina Lesher, Camdenton, and Margery Rentle, Windsor.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Keith Graves will officiate. Burial will be in Laughlin Cemetery, Camdenton.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to Laughlin Cemetery Care.
HAUSER
Betty Jean Hauser, 81, Lake Ozark, died July 21, 2001, at Ozark Care Center.
She was born July 17, 1920, in Kansas City, a daughter of Mary and Charles Farmer. She was married in August 1939 in Ozark to Warner P. Hauser, who died in 1990.
A homemaker, she was a member of Lake Ozark Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was active in Christian Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeananne Smithson, Lake Ozark, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Christian Church Building Fund.
AUTREY
Services were Monday for Marion "Chester" Autrey, 83, Paris, who died July 21, 2001, Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.
He was born Jan. 13, 1918, in Gillum, Ark., a son of William C. and Mabel Bertha Greathouse Autrey. He was married July 30, 1938, in Mexico, to Mamie Thelma Harlow, who survives at the home.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He farmed in the Madison area from 1954 to 1977 when he moved to Paris.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paris and the Paris American Legion Post 221.
Other survivors include one son, Melvin Chester Autrey, Holts Summit, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the church.
HADEN
Donald Davis Haden, 46, Sallisaw, Okla., formerly of Millersburg, died July 20, 2001, at Sequoeyah Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas , a son of Billy D. and Jewel K. Johnson Haden. He was married Dec. 24, 1993, in the Virgin Islands, to Glena Gay "Gigi" Guthrie, who survives at the home.
He attended the University of California and had worked as a firefighter in Columbia from 1978-1988.
He also worked as a pilot for Commuter-TWE for 10 years and at Orscheln Farm and Home Store, Fulton.
Other survivors include: two sons, Bryton Davis Haden and Grayson Guthrie Haden, both of the home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Millersburg Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today.
ATANA
William F. Atana, 60, Freeburg, died July 23, 2001, at his home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of William and Violet Rakocy Atana. His mother survives in Struthers, Ohio. He was married Feb. 13, 1960, in Reno, Nev., to Beverly Gaylene Watson, who survives. He was married Aug. 13, 1987, in Jefferson City to Vivian Kay Slaton, who survives at the home.
He graduated from Poland High School, Poland, Ohio. He was a captain with the Missouri Department of Corrections, retiring after 22 years.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Victoria Diane Branson and Karen Michelle Owens, both of Tebbetts, and Beverly Lynn Vogler, Eldon; one brother Bobby Atana, Vallejo, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One son, William Joseph "Billy" Atana, died June 28, 1984.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center.
CALDWELL
Services were today for Elizabeth Caldwell, 77, Independence, who died July 23, 2001, at Jefferson Health Care, Lee's Summit.
She was born Oct. 9, 1923, in California, a daughter of John G. and Goldie L. Tague Meyer. She was married Oct. 3, 1942, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Robert L. Caldwell, who died June 13, 1997.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Birchwood Baptist Church, Independence, and of the Golden Gate Chapel 58 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Caldwell, Independence.
Services were at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Larry Hoskins officiated. Burial was in California City Cemetery.

LISTER
Marjorie Jewel Lister, 86, Jefferson City, died July 23, 2001, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.
She was born May 30, 1915, in Sedalia, a daughter of Arthur A. and Jessie Scruggs Lister.
She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1942 with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a member of First Christian Church, the Lydia Circle of the church and taught Sunday school.
She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Beta Sigma Phi, American Association of Retired Persons and Retired Missouri State Teachers Association. She was a member of the Cole County Historical Society, where she was a docent.
She was an elementary school teacher in the Jefferson City public schools for 44 years until her retirement.
Survivors include nieces.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Mindy Kiepe will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the Cole County Historical Society or the First Christian Church.
