DEAMOS
Pamela Kay Akers Deamos, 40, Versailles, died Oct. 28, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 30, 1961, in Wayne, Mich., a daughter of Royce G. and Wanda J. Welch Akers. Her parents survive in Versailles.
She graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1979.
She was a member of Gravois Mills United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Jackson County Jaycees.
Other survivors include: one son, Kirk Deamos, of the home; and one sister, Teresa Wright, Lee's Summit.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Bob Hoskins will officiate. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Lee's Summit Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Morgan County Mental Health.
HAGAN
Mildred Venita Rehm Hagan, 97, Jefferson City, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Oak Tree Villas.
She was born Aug. 1, 1904, in Bonner Springs, Kan., a daughter of Benjamin L. and Daisy Falkinburg Rehm. She was married Oct. 8, 1925, in Kansas City, to Claude Austin Benson. She was married March 29, 1942, to Joseph Eugene Hagan, who died in April1965.
After graduating from Bonner Springs High School, she attended Everett School of Business, Kansas City. She had co-owned a grocery store in Bonner Springs. She worked for Western Malt Manufacturing Company, Bonner Springs, and Seaboard Airline Ry., Arcadia, Fla. After moving to Jefferson City, she served as payroll clerk for the Missouri Power and Light Company and was co-owner, office manager and treasurer of the family-owned Hagan Mill Machinery.
She was a member of the Jefferson City Business and Professional Women's Club and was recipient of the Woman of the Year Award. She served as chairman of the civic affairs committee and won the "Clean Up to Build Up" campaign. She hosted the state meeting of the club in her home.
She also was a member of the Zonta Club.
She was a member of the quota and admissions committee, serving as secretary of the United Community Fund's Campaign, 1956-1963; the advisory board of the Salvation Army; Greater Jefferson City Committee; steering committee for the clean water bond issue; and the Memorial Community Hospital and auxiliary. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 55 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.
In 1964, she was selected for the Woman of Achievement Award from the American Association of University Women.
She is listed in two editions of Who's Who of American Women.
Survivors include one son, C. Austin Benson, Jefferson City, and one daughter, Beverly A. Shelton, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Thomas W. Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, the Humane Society or the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund.
WALL
Ezmul Wall, 94, Brumley, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Miller County Nursing Home, Tuscumbia.

McCOY
Emma May McCoy, 82, Holts Summit, died Oct. 30, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Athens, Ill., a daughter of Thomas E. and Winifred Grace Broaddus Hopwood. She was married Feb. 11, 1942, in Glendale, Calif., to Alva Lawrence McCoy, who died April 2, 1999.
She was a graduate of Alhambra High School, Alhambra, Calif., and Pasadena City College, Pasadena, Calif. A watercolorist and artist, she received a teaching certificate in Ikebana, oriental flower arranging.
Survivors include: two sons, Daniel Lee McCoy, Columbia, and David Timothy McCoy, Seattle; one daughter, Laura May Carver, Holts Summit; and six grandchildren.
One son, Lawrence Lee McCoy, died in 1985.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Rudolph W. Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Friday.

Duane William Kovarik, 78, Versailles, died Oct. 24, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.

George W. "Bill" Clough, 61, Linn, died Oct. 30, 2001, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.

CLEMENTE
Emil Louis Clemente, 61, Henley, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 12, 1939, in New York City, a son of William J. Clemente and Aroxi Mitzi Goshkarian. His father survives in Henley. He was married Jan. 22, 1983, in New York City, to Kathleen Bernadette Lock, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated Clem Equipment Company on Long Island, N.Y. He also owned and operated K.C. Kelly's on Long Island. He most recently worked in the liquor department at Gerbes West.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Lillian Vignieri, Esoterra, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Janine Viverito, Long Island; one stepson, John Viverito, Long Island; two brothers, Roger Clemente, state of New Jersey, and Guy Clemente, Manhattan; three grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Marys Home. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Asthma Foundation.
CAMPBELL
Velma May Campbell, 66, Florence, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.
She was born March 11, 1935, in Hoxie, Kan., a daughter of General L. and Hattie Opal Turner Brown. She was married to Harvey Irby, who preceded her in death. She was married Oct. 11, 1969, to Delbert F. Campbell, who died Aug. 22, 1970.
She lived around the world while her first husband was in the Coast Guard. She worked as a bank teller in Kansas City and Sedalia. She was a member of Florence United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Harvey Irby, Lawrence, Kan., and Fred Irby, Helena, Mont.; one daughter, Melanie Lester, Warsaw; four brothers, Vernon Brown, Florence, Donald Brown and Jim Brown, both of Kansas City, and David Brown, Springfield; three sisters, Phyllis Utter, Kansas City, Marjorie Vick, Olathe, Kan., and Karen Robertson, Stover; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Florence United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bill Siebert will officiate. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.
