THRASHER
Paul William Thrasher, 20, Holts Summit, died Nov. 13, 2001, near Russellville.
He was born Sept. 13, 1981, in Jackson, Mich., a son of Lloyd and Sandra Cook Thrasher. His parents survive in Holts Summit.
He was a 2000 graduate of Jefferson City High School where he was a member of the Jay Marching Band. He worked for Revenue Management Corporation. He was a former member of First United Methodist Church, Jefferson City, and a member of the Holts Summit Fire Department.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Nathan Thrasher, St. Louis, and Tony Thrasher, Holts Summit; paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Lynn and Grace Thrasher, Jackson; paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Carolyn and Frank Blough, Brooklyn, Mich.; and maternal grandmother, Billy Cook, Napoleon, Mich.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Holts Summit. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. Friday.
Services will also be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nichols Arthur Funeral Home, Michigan Center, Mich. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon.

CIMIOTTA
Louis F. Cimiotta, 76, Gravois Mills, died Nov. 13, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1925, in Collinsville, Ill., a son of Tony and Blanche Simons Cimiotta. He was married Sept. 28, 1946, to Rose Marie Ellen Hansen, who survives at the home.
He was a retired gas service technician for Illinois Power. He was a member of the Shrine of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of VFW Kahokian Memorial Post 5691 and American Legion Post 365, both in Collinsville. He was also active in the Red Cross in Collinsville.
Other survivors include: one son, Louis A. Cimiotta, Troy, Ill.; three daughters, Barbara Vosse, Belleville, Ill., Sally Damm, Alton, Ill., and Mary Masloski, Maryville, Ill.; one brother, Charles Cimiotta, Summerfield, Fla.; one sister, Margaret Lewis, Caseyville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One son, Mark Andrew Cimiotta, and one daughter, Rose Cimiotta, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shrine of Saint Patrick Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Fred J. Barnett will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
CRANE
Lucille Thornsberry Crane, 82, Lake Ozark, died Nov. 13, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Zebra, a daughter of Snode A. and Zella Thomas Thornsberry. She was married Sept. 14, 1940, in Waynesville, to Kent J. Crane, who died June 27, 1996.
She was a retired teacher and received her undergraduate and master's degrees from Lincoln University. She taught at Honey Springs, Tuscumbia and School of the Osage. She was a member and former president of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and Riverview Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, William C. Crane, Kansas City; two daughters, Marilyn Umstead, Powell, Tenn., and Carolyn Lasey, Denver, N.C.; one sister, Peggy Phillips, Kansas City; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Baptist Church, Osage Beach. The Rev. Chuck Phillips and the Rev. Bill Rosen will officiate. Burial will be in Gott Cemetery, Ulman.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
Memorials are suggested to Riverview Baptist Church.
WHITE
Perry Leroy White , 76, Gravois Mills, died Nov. 13, 2001, at his home.
He was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Boonville, Ind., a son of Noble and Elsie Kissel White . He was married July 26, 1975, to Elsie May Hall, who died April 15, 1985.
He owned and operated Perry's Tavern, Kansas City, and P&E Store, near Laurie. An Army veteran of World War II, he also worked as a brick mason.
Other survivors include: three sons, Joseph E. White , Junction City, Kan., Perry Lee White , Gravois Mills, and Donald White , North Kansas City; three sisters, Marie Eckart, Gravois Mills, Ruth Glover, Paola, Kan., and Betty Rownd, Syracuse, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One son, Kenneth Ronald White , preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Garber Memorial Estates, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
JOHNSON
William G. Johnson, 78, Versailles, died Nov. 14, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Leroy G. and Neva Duff Johnson. He was married July 9, 1950, in Versailles, to Dr. Ruth Kauffman, who survives at the home.
A veteran of World War II, he attended Ohio University and received a law degree from Washington University, St. Louis. He began his law practice in 1954 and served as the Morgan County prosecuting attorney for 20 years and as Versailles municipal judge.
He was a member of the American Bar Association; the Missouri Bar Association; the Versailles United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school; the Versailles Kiwanis Club; and the Morgan County Historical Society, where he served as treasurer for 25 years.
He was an Eagle Scout and served on the Versailles Cemetery Association Board.
Other survivors include: one son, Robert G. Johnson, Merritt Island, Fla.; three daughters, Dr. Catherine Maxwell, Akron, Ohio, Mary Liebler, Eldon, and Carolyn Dixon, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Robert Johnson, Cincinnati; and 11 grandchildren.
One daughter, Melissa Ann Johnson, died Sept. 14, 1969.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Versailles United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gailya Dow and the Rev. Gary Dewitt will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to Morgan County Historical Society, the Versailles United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
BASINGER
Jewell Basinger, 90, California, died Nov. 14, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
Arrangements are incomplete at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
BURNS
James E. "Jim" Burns, 75, Jasper, died Nov. 14, 2001, near his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Commerce, Okla., a son of William R. and Fannie Gertrude Hanrahand Burns.
He was raised in Camdenton and owned B&H Bail Bonds for several years. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include: one son, James Craig Burns; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Decaturville.
Visitation will be from noon-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
BARTLEY
Carol Jean Bartley, 76, Tebbetts, died Nov. 18, 2001, at Capital Healthcare Center.
She was born May 27, 1925, in Tebbetts, a daughter of Lacy L. and Corris Scott Bartley.
She was a graduate of Mokane High School and Capitol Business College. She was employed with the Missouri State Department of Purchasing for 43 years until her retirement. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Tebbetts.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Bruce G. Bernard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Tebbetts.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
