TURNER
Linda Christine Turner, 53, Holts Summit, died Jan. 3, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Oct. 22, 1948, in Prescott, Ariz., a daughter of James L. and Margaret Corley White . Her mother survives in Kingman, Ariz. She was married June 21, 1985, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Charles "Blue Buzzard" Turner, who died May 24, 2001.
A homemaker, she was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Holts Summit.
Other survivors include: three sons, James Roberson, Alan Jarvis and John Jarvis, all of Fulton; three daughters, Donna J. Hull and Leslie Stein, both of Fulton, and Donna Mayberry, Chesapeake, Md.; two brothers, Cecil White and Harry White , both of Kingman; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Charles Crum will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Calwood.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.

WHIPPLE
Ricki Joe Whipple, 48, Barnett, died Jan. 3, 2002, near Versailles from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 21, 1953, in Ft. Riley, Kan., a son of Francis and Marilyn Boxx Whipple. His mother, Marilyn Underwood, survives in Barnett.
He was an equipment operator for the John Deere Company.
Other survivors include one son, Ricky Lee Whipple, Edgewater, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline, Ill. Burial will be in Bowlesburg Cemetery, Silvis, Ill.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
McKITTRICK
Virginia H. McKittrick, 90, Jefferson City, died Jan. 5, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Jan. 8, 1911, in Keytesville, a daughter of Hubbard and Pearl Wells Hamilton. She was married July 24, 1938, in Kansas City, to Horace B. McKittrick, who died May 16, 1978.
She graduated from Corder High School, Corder. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated from Christian College, Columbia. She was a teacher in the Keytesville Public Schools. She was a teacher with the Jefferson City Public Schools for several years and later worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue until her retirement in 1969. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one son, William H. McKittrick, Jefferson City; one daughter, Martha Breckenridge, Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Ruth H. Bridgens, Williamsburg, Mass.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be in Salisbury Cemetery, Salisbury.
There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
HOOPER
Charles Franklin "Charlie" Hooper, 98, Iberia, died Jan. 3, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
He was born Sept. 28, 1903, a son of Frank and Edith May Gregory Hooper. He was married Jan. 26, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Elizabeth "Lillian" Kelly, who died May 24, 1988.
He graduated from Pratt Institute of Architecture in Brooklyn in 1929. He worked with Western Electric as quality-control engineer for 40 years.
He was a lifetime member of The Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was a published poet.
Survivors include: one son, Donald M. Hooper, Iberia; two daughters, Rose Romeo, Battlement Mesa, Colo., and Regina Sevcovic, Boston; one brother, Harold "Billy" Hooper, East Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Winifred Bessette, Mansfield Center, Conn.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at a later date under the direction of Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, Rahway, N.J. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden, N.J.
There will be no visitation.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
KISH
Marcella G. Kish, 71, Marys Home, died Jan. 5, 2002, at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1930, near Marys Home, a daughter of Richard J. and Katie Kempker Schulte. She was married Aug. 27, 1949, to Louis Herigon, who died Oct. 13, 1960. She was married May 12, 1965, to Albert N. Kish, who died Nov. 1, 1994.
She was a teacher at the Rural Sanning School for one year and was a bookkeeper for MFA Exchange for four years. She worked for Remleys Insurance Agency for more than 40 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church, Marys Home, and served on many church committees. She served on the Our Lady of Snows Credit Union board since it was organized in 1961. She was on the board of Marys Home Senior Villa. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality, VFW Auxiliary, and Miller County Senior Citizens Board.
Survivors include: two daughters, Janet Buschjost, Jefferson City, and Jean Waugaman, Frankfort, Germany; two sons, Gary Herigon, Eugene, and Leon Herigon, Marys Home; five brothers, Marvin Schulte, Amarillo, Texas , Pat Schulte and Melvin Schulte, both of Jefferson City, R.J. Schulte, Edmond, Okla., and James Schulte, Henley; three sisters, Dorothy Mae Lueckenhoff, Jefferson City, Patsy Bax, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Catherine Kliethermes, Belvidere, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Snows Church.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with a rosary at 3 p.m. and a prayer service at 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Snows Church or School, Marys Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
OTTO
Mathilda A. "Tillie" Otto, 96, formerly of Koeltztown, died Jan. 5, 2002, at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley, Fenton.
She was born March 15, 1905, in Koeltztown, a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Bax Otto.
She worked for many years as a hairdresser in the St. Louis area. She was a longtime member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown.
Survivors include two nieces, Betty Siebeneck, Wardsville, and Betty Schuengel, St. Louis, and two nephews, Bob Wulff, Vienna, and Tom Wulff, Holts Summit.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Msgr. Bernard H. Boessen will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia.
BARTLEY
Charles Clinton Bartley, 90, Fulton, died Jan. 6, 2002, at Missouri Veterans Home, Mexico.
He was born Dec. 13, 1911, in Fulton, a son of Campbell and Julia Mosley Bartley. He was married Feb. 10, 1946, in Fulton, to Payton R. Reynolds, who survives.
He was Callaway Country treasurer for 20 years and county clerk for 2 l/2 years. He was Callaway Memorial Hospital administrator until he retired in 1976. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of VFW. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fulton.
Survivors include: three sons, Roger Bartley, Providence, R.I., George Bartley, Fulton, and Thomas Bartley, Washington ; one brother, Martin Bartley, Fulton; two sisters, Elizabeth Bartley, St. Louis, and Mary Amelia Schmidt, Chevy Chase, Md.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Stephen Sowder will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday
Memorials are suggested to Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Fulton.
GROVER
Ruby Marie Grover, 81, Camdenton, died Jan. 6, 2002, at her home.
She was born March 14, 1920, in McKittreck, a daughter of Alvin and Mary Lionberger. She was married Dec. 23, 1940, to Nolan Grover, who died March 2, 1996.
She moved to Bowling Green and then to Kansas City, Kan., where she lived for 25 years.
She then moved to Camdenton.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Lou Williams, Camdenton; one son, Danny Grover, Camdenton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Allen Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Rick Ginnings will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Memorials are suggested to Dogwood Animal Shelter.
HUNTER
Miller T. Hunter, 86, Versailles, died Jan. 7, 2002, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Versailles, a son of Horace V. and Ethel Miller Hunter. He was married March 23, 1940, to Helen D. Wilton, who survives at the home.
A 1935 graduate of Versailles High School, he earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He retired as a county extension agent in Hawaii after more than 30 years of service. He was a professor with the University of Missouri and the University of Hawaii. An auctioneer, he graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1961.
He was awarded the Dow Chemical Company Study Tour of Western States. He served on the Children and Youth Committee for National County Agents and the Aloha Committee for National County Agents. He was chairman of the Cane Committee Hawaii County Agents Association.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Versailles; a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star; the American Legion; VFW; the Maui 4-H Livestock Association; the Carter County Extension Association; the Rotary Club of Kahului; the Epslon Sigma Phi Honorary Fraternity; and the Sons of the American Revolution.
He was honored in 1988 at the Hawaii State Fair for his work with 4-H and livestock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Sidney Robbins will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
