EIDSON
Glenn Wayne Eidson, 83, Roach, died Jan. 8, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born March 16, 1918, in Macks Creek. He was married Feb. 12, 1948, to Phyllis Leap, who survives at the home.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Lower Prairie Hollow Missionary Baptist Church. He was an ordained missionary Baptist minister. He helped organize Mission Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and was the first pastor. He was a pastor at Harmony and Lower Prairie Hollow Missionary Baptist Churches. He was the Sunday school teacher at Lower Prairie Hollow.
Other survivors include: three sons, Robert Eidson, Stephen Eidson and David Eidson, all of Roach; one daughter, Barbara Hodges, Preston; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lower Prairie Hollow Missionary Baptist Church. Don Willis and Nevin Breshears will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
HAGANS
Elnora Bradshaw Hagans, 84, Eldon, died Jan. 9, 2002, in Jefferson City.
She was born Oct. 16, 1917, in Pilot Grove, a daughter of Lewis C. and Christina Mary Lammers Bradshaw. She was married June 4, 1935, in Tuscumbia, to Ralph L. Hagans, who died Jan. 25, 1981.
She attended Catholic schools in Cooper and Miller counties. She was a member of the P.T.A. of Eldon; Boyscouts; Girlscouts; Friends of Music; and the Chamber of Commerce. She was awarded the Distinguished Citizen of the Year honor in 1999.
She was co-owner of the Paint Pot, Eldon, for 45 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Aikins, Chanute, Kan., one son, Lynn Hagans, Eldon, and three grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

HARROD
Donald Dean Harrod, 80, New Haven, died Jan. 8, 2002, at his home.
He was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Wood River, Ill., a son of Leslie and Minnie Feezel Harrod. He was married Feb. 11, 1941, to Nina Jones, who survives.
He received an associate degree in business administration from Shurtleff College, Alton, Ill. He was an operator and foreman at the APEX oil refinery in Hartford, Ill., for 41 years, retiring in 1983. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.
He was a deacon and elder in the Christian Church. He was a charter member of the First Christian Church, Bethalto, Ill., and was elder emeritus at the Antioch Christian Church, Leslie. He served as chairman of the church board and church treasurer, and assisted in three church building programs. He also served on several committees and taught Bible classes.
Other survivors include: one son, Ronald Harrod, Jefferson City; one daughter, Melanie Sheehan, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Zenaide Lyon, Conroe, Texas , and Veneta Rhea, Roxana, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven. The Rev. William F. Price and the Rev. Donald H. Bader will officiate. The remains will be cremated.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

MARTINETTE
Helen Martinette, 84, Grandview, died Jan. 8, 2002, at California care Center.
Survivors include one daughter, the Rev. Carol Koenig, California, and one son, Gary Martinette, Grandview.
Family graveside services will be in Kansas City.
No visitation is planned. The family will host a reception from 11 a.m.- noon Sunday at United Methodist Church, California.

PACE
Frederick "Gene" Pace, 70, California, died Jan. 10, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born July 17, 1931, a son of Ned and Velma Meyer Pace. He was married July 7, 1956, in Yuma, Ariz., to Irene Crabb, who survives at the home.
He attended California High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Navy after 21 years of service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserves Association.
Other survivors include: two sons, Robert Pace and Duane Pace, both of California; one daughter, Robbie Pace Courtright, Jefferson City; one brother, James David Pace, Clarksburg; one sister, Mary Alice Coryell, Lebanon; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Ken Mathes and the Rev. Jesse Baker will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

WALKER
Charles Walker, 34, Camdenton, died Jan. 8, 2002, at Capitol Region Medical Center.

BURKE
Beverly Kay Burke, 60, Centerview, died Jan. 10, 2002, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City.
She was born Oct. 16, 1941, in Jefferson City, a daughter of William and Eva Bobbitt Hayworth. Her mother survives in Tipton.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Florence. She also attended Bates City Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Jeremiah Burke, Centerview; two daughters, Sandy Kanak, Sedalia, and Sharon Stevens, Camdenton; two brothers, Bill Hayworth, Craig, and John Hayworth, Belton; one sister, Mildred Peoples, Syracuse; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Tipton.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton, and from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

CODAY
Merl R. Coday, 85, Eldon, died Jan 10, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born May 1, 1916, in Hartville, a son of Marve and Mabel Johnson Coday. He was married Jan. 7, 1938, in Pampa, Texas , to Vivian Pauline Barker, who died Dec. 16, 1995.
He worked for the Lake Asphalt and Paving Company as a job estimator. He was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church, Osage Beach, and was a longtime Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include: three daughters, Paula Carl, Charleston, S.C., Sara Hatchett, Valdosta, Ga., and Anna Anthony, Gatesville, Texas ; one brother, Reed Coday, Columbia; one sister, Jean Ripee, Mansfield; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Dennis Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
EVERS
Joseph Michael Evers, infant son of Mike and Kim Love Evers, Marys Home, died Jan. 8, 2002, in Jefferson City.
His parents survive at the home.
Other survivors include: paternal grandparents, Marcus and Bernice Evers, Marys Home; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Agnus Love, Marys Home; and two great-grandmothers, Leona Evers, Marys Home, and Catherine Bock, Pilot Grove.
Private services will be held at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Marys Home. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.

HAMPTON
Malinda O. Hampton, 97, Jefferson City, died Jan. 11, 2002, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Jan. 11, 1905, in Goodwill, S.C., a daughter of Titus and Rosana Hampton.
She attended school in South Carolina. She worked for the Hilton Hotels and Restaurant Association until her retirement. A former resident of Los Angeles, she was a member of the Deliverance Church of God in Christ, Los Angeles, where she served as trustee, usher, senior choir president and soloist. She also served on the hospitality committee for the local church and as district and statewide secretary for the consolation board.
Survivors include: one nephew, Charles W. Jackson, Jefferson City, and one niece, Mazie L. Gary, Sumter, S.C.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Cornell Sudduth will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
RAPPSIS
Neal Anthony Rappsis, 58, Jefferson City, died Jan. 9, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Granite City, Ill., a son of Gustave and Regina Szemczk Rappsis. He was married in 1968, in Granite City, to Janice Lewis.
He attended Granite City High School. He was a millwright with the Chemetcho Refinery and also was a certified locksmith. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include: one son, Neal Anthony Rappsis, II, Granite City; two step sons, Kenneth Knott and Charles Knott, both of Granite City; one daughter, Ginger Lea Graham, Granite City; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Family services will be held. Burial will be in Granite City Cemetery.
