MARTIN
Helen Louise Martin, 82, Versailles, died Feb. 8, 2002, at the Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Versailles, a daughter of Goshen and Lucy Lucenda Thurston Ross. She was married Oct. 5, 1948, to Alonzo Jerry Martin, who died Dec. 17, 1972.
She cleaned homes in the Versailles area and worked for the Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Versailles.
Survivors include: two sons, George Martin, Versailles, and Lonnie Martin Jr., Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Brenda Martin, Versailles, and Louella Roland, Lebanon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Robert Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
LANSFORD
William "Bill" Lansford Jr., 55, Jefferson City, died Feb. 7, 2002, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis.
He was born July 19, 1946, in Jefferson City, a son of William H. and Dorothy Tickelkamp Lansford. His mother survives in Jefferson City. He was married Aug. 17, 1968, in Loose Creek to Grace Buthod, who survives at the home.
He was a lifelong resident of Central Missouri. He graduated from Helias High School and attended Lincoln University until he joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Lansford owned and operated Capital City Heating Company until his death.
He was a member of the United Sportsman Club, the Sweet Springs Raceway. He was assistant scoutmaster of Troop 4 Boy Scouts of America and was a member of St. Peters Church.
Survivors include: one son, Kevin Lansford, Jefferson City; three sisters, Diane Buthod, Centertown, Mary Peters and Carol Rackers, both of Jefferson City; three brothers, John Lansford, Bob Lansford and Dave Lansford, all of Jefferson City; and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peters Catholic Church. The Rev. Joe Coral will officiate. Services and burial with military honors will be at Mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Mortuary with prayer services at 3:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peters Building Fund.
HAGER
Mary Y. Hager, 76, Eugene, died Feb. 7, 2002, in Tuscumbia.
She was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Oklahoma, a daughter of Sam and Esther Judd Stebbins. She was married April 28, 1946, in Oakland, Calif., to Leonard Arthur Hager.
She was a homemaker and worked for Eldon Skelgas and C&C Market in Tuscumbia. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Eldon.
Survivors include: two sons, Stephen D. Hager, Holts Summit, and Michael L. Hager, Eugene; one brother, Bill Stebbins, Arab, Ala.; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Stephen Riordan will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Research.
NORFLEET
Oneta Jane Norfleet, 85, Tuscumbia, died Feb. 8, 2002, in Jefferson City.
She was born March 1, 1916, in Cole County, a daughter of Norman G. and Georgia C. Dawson Busch. She was married Nov. 4, 1936, in Jefferson City, to Eliga David Norfleet, who died Sept. 7, 1991.
A homemaker, she was a lifelong resident of the Eugene area. She was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon.
Survivors include: one daughter, Naomi J. Cotten, Russellville; one brother, George Edward Busch, Eldon; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ninth Street Christian Church. The Rev. Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Garden Cemetery, Eugene.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to Ninth Street Christian Church or Spring Garden Cemetery.
SCOTT
Shannon Marie Martin Scott, 27, Steedman, died Feb. 8, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born March 19, 1974, a daughter of Edward Richard Reilly and Joan Martin. Her adoptive father, Charles David and mother, Joan Martin, survive in Steedman.
She worked for Subway in Mexico as a manager. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fulton.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Kylee Anne Martin, Breanna Katelyn Martin and Billie Joan Martin, all of the home; two brothers, Edward Richard Reilly II, Media, Penn., and David "Pepper" Martin, Steedman; one sister, Erin Siobhan Reilly, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Charles and Doris Martin, Fulton; maternal grandmother, Margery Morris, Stafford Springs, Conn.; maternal grandfathers, William Saul, East Hartford, Conn., and Kenneth Wenzel, state of Massachusetts.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. Fr. William Korte will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.

WILLIAMS
Kenneth E. Williams, 80, formerly of California, died Feb. 9, 2002, at his home in Pittsfield, Ill.
He was born July 25, 1921, in Moniteau County, a son of Edgar and Maude Swerigen Williams. He was married July 5, 1944, in Stowe-on-the-Wold, England, to Mary Leahy, who preceded him in death.
He served in the Special Forces Division of the Army during World War II. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He worked as a sales manager for Wilson Meat Packing, Frigo Cheese Company and Tate Cheese Company, Valley City, Ill., until his retirement.
Survivors include: two daughters, Elaine Burkot, Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Sue Foster, Elgin, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, California. Burial with military honors will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Niebur Funeral Home, Pittsfield, and from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Blessing Hospice or Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
PIRNER
Angeline A. Pirner, 82, Hermann, died Feb. 9, 2002, at Frene Valley Geriatric & Rehabilitation Center, Hermann.
She was born April 14, 1919, in Jefferson City, a daughter of William and Anne E. Vetter Winge. She was married Jan. 14, 1936, in Jefferson City, to Joseph G. Pirner, Jr., who died Aug. 16, 1994.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter, JoAnn Ball, Hermann; one brother, Joe Winge, Jefferson City; two sisters, Florence Renn, Holts Summit, and Ann Rackers, Jefferson City; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Landon Grosse will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

RUCKER
Freda M. Rucker, 94, Grandview, died Feb. 10, 2002, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1907, in Hope. She was married to George Rucker.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Rucker, Grandview, and one brother, Clarence Krueger, Hope.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Burial will be in Salem Hope Cemetery, Hope.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit, and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Morton Funeral Home.

WHITE
Delpha Lorene White , 80, Linn, died Feb. 9, 2002, at Green Meadows Skilled Care.
She was born March 10, 1921, in Osage County, a daughter of Alonzo and Edna Owens Rice. She was married Aug. 2, 1938, in Chamois, to Paul "Kermit" White , who died March 12, 1992.
She was a homemaker. She worked for Linn Manufacturing for several years and retired from Scholastic in 1981. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Bonnots Mill.
Survivors include: five brothers, Jewel Rice, Marshall, Charles Rice, Clinton, Leon Rice, Lee's Summit, Robert Rice, Buena Vista, Ark., and Ray Rice, Orange, Texas ; two sisters, Joy Reidy, St. Charles, and Gloria Marvel, Woodville, Texas ; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Gail Arbes, died Dec. 5, 1999.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Jerry Marvel will officiate. Burial will be in Woods Cemetery near Chamois.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
