TAYLOR
Reed A. Taylor, 90, Versailles, died June 3, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born May 19, 1909, near Stover, a son of John and Ada Rapp Taylor. He was married May 22, 1930, to Maude E. Colwell, who died Sept. 15, 1989.
He was a retired automobile mechanic and later was a caretaker for the Versailles Cemetery Association. He was a member of Big Buffalo Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Roy Taylor and Dean Taylor, both of Versailles; one daughter, Barbara Turpin, Versailles; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Kevin Stogsdill will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
SEMIN
Joan Iris Semin, 63, Medford, Ore., and formerly of Jefferson City, died May 26, 1999, at the Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 16, 1935, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Floyd and Brooksie Shackelford Byram. She was married Dec. 23, 1960, in Denver, Colo., to Roger Semin, who survives at the home.
She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was also a homemaker and owner-operator of the Tour-Riffic Tours Inc. of Medford.
Other survivors include: one son, Shane Semin, Medford; one daughter, Deah Semin, Medford; and one sister, Bernice Zimmerman, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
Private family services are planned. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.
SCOTT
Violet Scott, 82, Ashland, died June 2, 1999, at Columbia Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Lohman, a daughter of James R. and Sarah Edna Erhardt Scott.
She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by one brother, R. Herbert Scott, Columbia.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Riverview Cemetery. Pastor Ron Scott will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia.
Memorials are suggested to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
LEUTHEN
Vivian Regina Leuthen, 80, Eldon, died June 3, 1999, at Oak View Living Center, Jefferson City.
She was born Jan. 17, 1919, in Marys Home, a daughter of Clements and Catherine Cooper Leuthen.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon.
Survivors include: two brothers, Clarence Leuthen and Walter Leuthen, both of Eldon; and two sisters, Edna Lueckenhoff, Navajo Dam, N.M., and Pauline E. Whitten, Eldon.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon. The Rev. James O'Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, near Barnett.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
JUNGMEYER
Edwin O. Jungmeyer, 82, Russellville, died June 3, 1999, at the J.C. Manor Nursing Home.

BABBITT
Raymond L. Babbitt, 51, Camdenton, died June 2, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital.
He was born June 5, 1947, in Kansas City, a son of Emmett and Essie Kindle Babbitt. His mother survives in Camdenton. He was married Nov. 6, 1965, in Climax Springs, to Elizabeth "Libby" Ollison, who survives at the home.
He lived in Camdenton since 1971 and was a Christian. A truck driver, he served as president of Sheridan E. Kindle Foundation.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Kristi Babbitt, Kansas City, and Sherri Harmon, Camdenton; one sister, Evelyn Hayden, Gladstone; and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Drennon Chapel, Climax Springs. The Rev. Francis Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Climax Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
JEFFRIES
Myra M. Jeffries, 83, Moberly died June 4, 1999, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Dec. 1, 1915, in Bonne Terre, a daughter of Michael and Alice Marchand Kohut. She was married March 10, 1942, in Evanston, Wyo., to Paul S. Jeffries, who survives.
She was a member of St. Pius X Church and Birthright, both of Moberly.
Other survivors include: four sons, Michael Jeffries, Jefferson City, Tim Jeffries, Dennis Jeffries, and Dan Jeffries, all of Moberly; one sister, Louise Fitzgerald, Coos Bay, Ore.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Church. Father Patrick Shortt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Moberly.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Cater Funeral Home, Moberly, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
MANESS
James Maness, 25, Stover, died June 4, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks, near Sunrise Beach.

TALKEN
Esther A. Talken, 80, Taos, died June 4, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
Arrangements are pending at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Taos.
WELCH
Mary Jean Welch, 74, Cheyenne, Wyo., and formerly of Rocky Mount, died May 19, 1999, at the Mountain Towers Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Cheyenne.
She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Lincoln, Neb., a daughter of William W. and Hazel Roegers McClun. She was married Aug. 30, 1957, in Greeley, Colo., to Lawrence Edwin Welch, who died June 20, 1989.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She had worked for the United States Air Force in Cheyenne and at Whiteman Air Force Base. She worked for the State of Missouri from 1962 to 1986. She moved to Fort Collins, Colo., after he husband's death, and then to Cheyenne.
Other survivors include one sister, Ann Thompson, Fort Collins.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery, Sweet Springs. The Rev. Charles Ahlemmann will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association.

ANDERS
Leta Irene Anders, 81, Versailles, died June 5, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 12, 1917, in Camden County, a daughter of George and Nellie Garrison Hibdon. She was married in 1939 to Lon Franklin Chadwick, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1966 to Ross H. Anders, who preceded her in death.
She was employed as a sewing machine operator at the Tweedie Plant for 25 years, and worked at Amex L.T.D., both in Versailles. She attended the Versailles Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include one son, Cleo L. Chadwick, Versailles, five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Loretta Thompson, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Roy Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today.
AUEN
Rick Auen, 56, Latham, died June 6, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
