WILMESHERR

Kenneth Carl Wilmesherr, 76, Rocky Mount, died Feb. 16, 2002, in Rocky Mount.

He was born Nov. 19, 1925, in St. Louis, a son of Edwin and Ella Denneler Wilmesherr. He was married Oct. 16, 1948, in St. Louis, to Barbara Adams Wilmesherr, who survives at the home.

He was a contractor and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: three sons, Keith Wilmesherr, New Melle, Cary Wilmesherr and David Wilmesherr, both of Eldon; one daughter, Debra Wilmesherr, St. Peters; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Bart Larson will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Missouri River Hospice.

DAVIS

Services were held today for Barbara Ann Talbot Davis, 38, El Paso, Texas , who died Feb. 12, 2002, at her home.

She was born April 25, 1963, in Newport News, Va., a daughter of Larry and Betty Talbot Brandeberry. She was married May 27, 1989, at the Lake of the Ozarks, to Douglas Davis, who survives.

She graduated from Macon R-1 high school and attended Moberly Area Community College and Truman State University. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, The Scoliosis Foundation of El Paso, and a hospital volunteer.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kassandra Meshel Davis, of the home ; three sisters, Debbie Heinz,  Jefferson City, Michele Anderson, Kirskville, and Carrie Conroy, Eldon; three brothers, Robert Brandeberry, state of Ohio, Fred Brandeberry, Macon, and Richard Brandeberry, St. Charles.

Services were at 2 p.m. at Carney-Armstrong Funeral Chapel in Macon. The Rev. Tom Bedford officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Macon.

Memorials are suggested to Kassandra Meshel Davis Education Fund.

KRUEGER

Amanda Krueger, 92, formerly of Morrison, died Feb. 17, 2002, at Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Arnold.

She was born March 9, 1909, in Osage County, a daughter of Charles and Bertha Broeker Hummert. She was married March 25, 1936, in Hope, to Ervin Krueger, who died Jan. 5, 1988.

A homemaker, she was a lifetime member of Salem Hope Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dorothy Hudson,  Jefferson City, and Elvira Brandt, Imperial; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Hope Presbyterian Church. The Rev. J. Joseph Trower will officiate. Private graveside services will be in Salem Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.

Memorials are suggested to Salem Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.

GOVRO

Lee Joseph Govro, 95,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 18, 2002, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

He was born July 5, 1906, in Elvins, a son of Xavier an Malina Morice Govro.

He worked as a manger of lumber yards in Elvins, Desloge and Weldon Springs. He served as director of Credit Life Insurance for Frontier Life Insurance Company. He owned and operated the Lee J. Govro Realty Agency until his retirement in 1976.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Holy Name Society; Dan C. Coppin Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus; Elks Lodge; Veterans of Foreign Wars; American Legion; Forty & Eight Voiture; and the United Commercial Travelers of America.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Kay Linsenbardt,  Jefferson City; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. Msgr. Charles H. Patterson will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Home for the Aged or the Special Learning Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

ROLL

Deborah Kathryn "Debbie" Roll, 46, Glendale, Calif., formerly of California, died Feb. 11, 2002, at her home.

Arrangements are incomplete at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

RICE

Leona F. Rice, 87,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 17, 2002, at Oak View Living Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City.

LOGRBRINCK

Nettie Mae De Moss Logrbrinck, 88, St. Peters, formerly of Eugene, died Feb. 17, 2002, in St. Peters.

She was born March 2, 1913, in Winkler, Texas , a daughter of Robert D. and Leta Viola Hemingway De Moss Robbins. She was married Dec. 31, 1949, in Harrison, Ark., to Jesse Marion Logrbrinck.

She worked for Safety Responsibility for the state of Missouri and was assistant superintendent at the women's prison. She was a town clerk for Eugene for 20 years.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Eugene, and the Eugene Christian Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Leta Tinnin,  Jefferson City, and Mary Lou Homfeldt, St. Peters; one stepson, Jess Logrbrinck Jr., Charlotte Harbor, Fla.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

One son, James J. Kelly, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Eugene Cemetery, Eugene.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the Eugene Eastern Star.

LIGHTFOOT

Services were held Feb. 9 for Edward S. Lightfoot, 76, Albuquerque, N.M., who died Feb. 5, 2002.

He was born March 9, 1925, in St. Louis, a son of Edward and Edithe Lightfoot. He was married Aug. 23, 1947, in Risco, to Doris Lightfoot, who survives at the home.

He lived most of his adult life in  Jefferson City. He received a bachelor of science from University of Missouri at Rolla and a masters from Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind. He was a registered professional engineer with the state of Missouri. He worked for 34 years for the Division of Health and Department of Natural Resources as a civil engineer. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and served as elder, deacon and church treasurer. He was also a member of the Sandia Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque for the past two years.

Survivors include: one son, Alan Lightfoot, Scottsdale, Ariz., three daughters, Cydney Hafner, Albuquerque, N.M., Susan Springer, McLean, Va., and Lynn Platter, Charlottesville, Va.; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held at Sandia Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque. The Rev. Dewey Johnson officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to Sandia Presbyterian, 10704 Paseo Del Norte, Albuquerque, N.M. 87122.

Arrangements were under the direction of French Mortuary, Albuquerque, N.M.

LORENZ

Alta D. Lorenz, 85, Concordia, died Feb. 18, 2002, at Good Shepherd Home, Concordia.

She was born April 16, 1916, in Higginsville, a daughter of William and Hulda Brandt Hemme. She was married May 11, 1935, in Kansas City, to Paul R. Lorenz, who died May 20, 1989.

A homemaker, she worked at the Burlington Manufacturing Company and the Concordia Egg Basket. She was a member St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Concordia, the Ladies Aid of the church and the Concordia Senior Center.

Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Rittman, Concordia; one son, Robert W. Lorenz,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Alberta Werths, Lexington, and Ethel Garske, Leeton; one brother, Albert Hemme, Seattle; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Concordia. The Rev. Gary R. Clayton will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Concordia.

Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Berg Mortuaries, the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Good Shepherd Home or the Concordia Ambulance Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Berg Mortuaries.

SCHUMACHER

William Schumacher, 64, St. Louis, formerly of Rich Fountain, died Feb. 15, 2002, at his home.

He was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Rich Fountain, a son of William and Margaret Haller Schumacher. He was married to Virginia A Connell, who survives in St. Louis.

He was a maintenance worker for the city and a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Gina Dickerson; one brother Mark Schumacher; two sisters, Katherine McLaurin and Jane Schaefer.

Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rich Fountain. The Rev. Mark A Porterfield will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- noon Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, Vienna.

FOSTER

Gilbert L. Foster, 70, formerly of Eldon, died Feb. 17, 2002, in Case Grande, Ariz.

Arrangements are incomplete at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
