HOLLANDSWORTH
Grace M. Hollandsworth, 87, Holts Summit, died Feb. 28, 2002, at her home.
She was born July 28, 1914, in Miller County, a daughter of Thomas and Joshie Pierce Shackelford. She was married Oct. 1, 1940, at Montgomery City to Everett Hollandsworth, who died on Jan. 8, 1999.
She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Central Missouri. She attended school in rural Miller County and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include: five daughters, Barbara Deppe and Mary Shoults, both of Jefferson City, Linda Schaffer, Henley, Carol Fitzpatrick, Wardsville, and Debbie Steelman, Holts Summit; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Freeman Chapel. The Rev. David Higgs will officiate. Burial will be at Longview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday.

KAYS
Eula L. Kays, 97, Eldon, died March 1, 2002, at the Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Jun 1, 1904, near Rocky Mount, a daughter of Edgar and Ella Cooper Howser. She was married May 13, 1990, to Willie Kays, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Morgan County.
Survivors include: a son, Carlos Kays, Eldon and two brothers, John Howser and Bail Howser, both of Barnett.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Ron Hess will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, near Rocky Mount.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
CARROLL
Roy David "Dave" Carroll, 87, Camdenton, died Feb. 28, 2002, at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach.
He was born Jan. 16, 1915, near Camdenton, a son of Silas A. and Jessie Lee Webster Carroll. He was married Feb. 26, 1933, to Nellie B. Goldsberry, who died Feb. 24, 1991.
He attended Byler Country School. A farmer, he served as a lake fishing guide for 50 years and with the forestry service. He was a member of the Royal Arch Masonic Lodge 34 in Jefferson City and Linn Creek Masonic Lodge 152, where he was a past master.
Survivors include: one son, Sherman Lee Carroll, Camdenton; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. The Rev. Dean Rooffner will officiate. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery, near Linn Creek.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today with a Masonic service at 2:30 p.m.
DAHMS
Gladys Marie Dahms, 72, Jefferson City, died March 2, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1930, in Bland, a daughter of John C. and Esther A. Branson Young. She was married Aug. 29, 1948, in Bland, to Harland Fred "Jack" Dahms, who died Sept. 10, 2000.
A 1948 graduate of Bland High School, she was a sales representative for Southwestern Bell, Linn. She also worked as a secretary.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Jefferson City.
Survivors include: two daughters, Deborah Dahms, Holts Summit, and Denise Rodden, Jefferson City; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Doyle M. Sager will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. today.

GAINEY
Willie May Gainey, 87, Rockingham, NC, died Feb. 28, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Rockingham, a daughter of Remus and Mattie Whitlock. She was married March 24, 1931, in Patrick, SC, to Archie Monroe Gainey, who died on July 25, 1988.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Rockingham. She also worked for Aleo Manufacturing Co., Rockingham, for years.
She was a member of the Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rockingham.
Survivors include: two sons, David Gainey, Rockingham, and Edward Gainey, Camden, SC; four daughters, Evelyn Holland, Jefferson City; Dorothy Snead, Rockingham, and Glenda Cerezo and Joyce Flowers, Camden, SC; a sister, Nellie Grace McQuage; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Bobby" Gainey, and a daughter, Mavis Mann.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rockingham. The Rev. Michael Price will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond County Memorial Cemetery, Rockingham.

SCHMID
Harold Edward Schmid, 55, formerly of Koeltztown, died March 2, 2002, at his home.
He was born Dec. 7, 1946, in St. Louis, a son of Henry J. and Cecilia G. Sankey Schmid. His mother survives in St. Louis.
He attended St. John the Baptist Special Class and St. Marys Special Class, both in St. Louis. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown.
Other survivors include: three sisters, Jeanette L. Santen and Helene T. Gazall, both of St. Louis, and Mary M. Rockelman, Lohman; and two brothers, James F. Schmid, St. Charles, and Thomas J. Schmid, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raymond Maronite Catholic Church, St. Louis, and at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown. Msgr. Gregory Mansur and Msgr. Bernard Boessen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Koeltztown.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raymond Maronite Church and from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown, or to Masses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia.
SCRIVNER
Donald Dorris Scrivner, 68, formerly of Eldon, died March 1, 2002, at Riverdell Care Center, Boonville.
He was born July 1, 1933, in Eldon, a son of Dorris and Thelma Hale Scrivner.
An Army veteran, he was a graduate of Eldon High School and Lincoln University. He attended Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a self-employed electrical contractor and worked for Julian Crane's Electrical, Eldon.
He attended First Baptist Church, Eldon.
Survivors include three brothers, Billy J. Scrivner, Venus, Texas , Robert L. Scrivner, Owensboro, Ky., and Ed Scrivner, Boonville.
The remains were cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
TOEBBEN
Edward Toebben, 90, died Feb. 28, 2002, at Westphalia Retirement Center.
He was born June 3, 1911, a son of Henry and Catherine Kramer Toebben. He was married April 10, 1934, to Veronica Schneiders, who died June 27, 1989.
He was a farmer and lifelong resident of Taos. He worked at Von Hoffman Press until retirement in 1976. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos.
Survivors include: six sons, Alvin Toebben, St. Martins, Albert Toebben, Wardsville, Louis Toebben, Jerry Toebben and Harvey Toebben, all of Taos, and Edward Toebben, Loose Creek; eight daughters, Lorene Brandt, Taos, Mary Jane Schaefer, Ann Lackman and Agnes Schwartz, all of Westphalia, Judy Wieberg, Freeburg, Darlene Russell, St. Thomas, Debbie Peters, Linn, and Vickie Coffman, Bonnots Mill; 55 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Toebben, June 14, 1970; a grandchild and a step-grandchild.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Dave Maher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday at the Houser-Millard Chapel, Taos, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
WINTERS
Julia Ellen Johnson Winters, 96, Fulton, died March 2, 2002, at Fulton Presbyterian Manor.
She was born Oct. 22, 1905, in Vinland, Kan., a daughter of Theodore and Laura Alice Weeks Johnson. She was married July 6, 1930, in Lawrence, Kan., to Roger Winters, who died Aug. 9, 1995.
She attended Lawrence public schools. She earned her A.B. degree from the University of Kansas and taught in western Kansas high schools. After several years of secretarial work, she moved to Fulton in 1942 and taught at Fulton High School for eight years.
She was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church and the Westminster Dames.
The remains were donated to science.
Private services will be at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Presbyterian Manor of Fulton or Presbyterian Church of Fulton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
