HOLTSCLAW
Gary Lee Holtsclaw, 54, Dixon, died March 9, 2002, at his home.
He was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Waynesville, a son of Harley I. and Beulah Edith King Holtsclaw. His parents survive in Dixon. He was married July 24, 1966, in Dixon, to Phyllis June Boucher, who survives at the home.
He worked as a brick mason for many years. He worked as a corrections officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Jefferson City for the last eight years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Dixon Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two sons, Brian Lee Holtsclaw and Brent Marion Holtsclaw, both of Dixon; one sister, Janet Rigsby, Dixon; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dixon Church of Christ. Rick Pitchford will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Pisgah Cemetery near Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
KELLEY
Grady Lee Kelley, 76, Holts Summit, died March 10, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born April 6, 1925, in Old Fort, N.C., a son of Rosa English. He was married March 30, 1946, in Marion, N.C., to Ruby Kuykendall, who survives at the home.
He was self-employed as a carpenter and cabinet maker. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and was a member of VFW Post in Marion. He was a member and served as a deacon of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Marion, N.C.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lynne Mahoney, Holts Summit, and Maria Kim Branson, Fulton; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City. The Rev. Norman Forman will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Grady Kelley Memorial Fund, in care of Central Bank in Holts Summit.
STEFFAN
Joseph F. Steffan, 79, Jefferson City, died March 9, 2002, in Jefferson City.
He was born Dec. 1, 1922, in St. Louis, a son of John and Margaritte Schauer Steffan. He was married May 10, 1975, in St. James, to Elizabeth Phillips Steffan, who survives in Jefferson City.
He worked for the University of Missouri in maintenance until he retired. He then worked part-time as a security guard for Scholastic in Jefferson City. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include: one son, John Pfeneger, Jefferson City; one daughter, Nancy Dilger, Corpus Christi, Texas ; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be at a later date. The Rev. William Eickhorst will officiate. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery in Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home.
BIRDSONG
Rohy J. Birdsong, 43, Jefferson City, died March 10, 2002, in Jefferson City.
He was born Oct. 7, 1958, in Versailles, a son of Donald G. and Opal Mae Baucom Birdsong. His father and stepmother, Donald and Helen Birdsong, survive in Eldon.
He graduated from Eldon High School in 1977. He worked as a foreman at DeLong Steel for 25 years.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nicole Cooper and Elizabeth Birdsong, both of Jefferson City; two sisters, Becky Kempker, Marys Home, and Vickie Birdsong, Eldon; and one step grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
CHAMBERS
Louise Chambers, 84, Vienna, died March 10, 2002, at Primrose Place Health Care Center, Springfield.
She was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Vienna, a daughter of William and Rebecca Noblett Duffin. She was married Feb. 23, 1941, in St. James, to Elmer Joseph Chambers, who preceded her in death.
She co-owned and operated Chamber's Department Stores in Vienna, St. Robert, Salem and Warrensburg for 32 years. She retired from the stores in 1978 and co-owned and operated Vienna Tax and Accounting Services. She was a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Schrader, Warrensburg, and Peggy Lindsey, Springfield; two brothers, Jeffries A. Duffin and Henry "Red" Duffin, both of Vienna; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vienna United Methodist Church. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate. Burial will be in Vienna Public Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Elmer and Louise Chambers College Scholarship Fund at Maries County Bank, Vienna.
FANN
Services were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Belle for Rainey Warden Fann, 76, Belle. He died March 9, 2002, at the Frene Valley Nursing Home.
Phil Rector and Jimmy Bickell officiated. Burial was in Union Hill cemetery near Vienna.
He was born May 18, 1925, in Lindell, a son of Rainey and Katie Carter Fann. He was married Aug. 31, 1951, to Pauline Stockton, who survives at the home.
He graduated from Rolla High School and from the University of Missouri with a degree in agricultural engineering. He taught science and math for 32 years in Belle and for two years in Owensville. He retired in 1985. He was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belle. He was a 50-year member of the Belle Masonic Lodge 373 AF & AM and was a member of the Scottish Rite. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: two sons, Rainey Warden Fann Jr., Columbia, and David Paul Fann, Belle; one sister, Armenia Lihnhoff, St. Ann; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Sassmann's Funeral Service in Belle.
HARLER
Lillian Isabell Harler, 83, Holts Summit, died March 9, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born April 22, 1918, in Galesburg, Ill., a daughter of John and Mary Peterson Ring. She was married Dec. 22, 1936, in Knoxville, Ill., to Russell Harler, who survives.
She received her registered nurse's training at Missouri Southern. She was a registered nurse at the Fulton State Hospital, retiring in 1985.
Survivors include: two daughters, Marilyn Wilken, Fort Worth, Texas , and Clover Dye, New Bloomfield; one brother, Merril Ring, Galesburg, Ill.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit. The Rev. Brad Schmitt will officiate.
HARVEY
Private family services were today for Jalil Arman Harvey, newborn son of Andre and Charnise Harvey, who died March 8, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center. His parents survive in Jefferson City.
Other survivors include one brother, Julian Harvey, of the home, one sister, Chenai Harvey, of the home, and paternal great-grandfather, Joseph Walker, St. Louis.

HULL
Ruth Ray Kelly Hull, 68, Eldon, died March 10, 2002, in Eldon.
She was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Eldon, a daughter of Joseph W. and Queen Ester McGorder Kelly. She was married Feb. 16, 1954, in Sedalia, to Milfred L. Hull, who died April 29, 1982.
She lived for 30 years in the Raytown and Kansas City area. She worked in the housekeeping departments at Lodge of the Four Seasons and Holiday Inn.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard Hull, Leona, Texas , and Dennis Hull, Kearney; three daughters, Debora Sides, Eldon, Crystal Dilley, Kaiser, and Jewel Rhodes, Olean; three brothers, Robert Kelly, Kearney, William Kelly, Russellville, and Albert Kelly, Eugene; two sisters, Pauline Bishop, Houston, Texas , and Margaret Hill, Lake Ozark; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Dooley Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
LEHMAN
Tilman V. Lehman, 89, Versailles, died March 11, 2002, at Osage Beach Health Care, Osage Beach.
He was born March 10, 1913, near Versailles, a son of Thomas and Alpha Loganbill Lehman.
He served in CPS Camp in South Dakota from 1942-1945. He worked for Repelmar Farms, Shyrack-Givens Wholesale House, MFA Exchange and retired from Slagle Surveyors in Versailles. He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite church.
He is survived by one sister, Ruth Aeschbacher, Laurie.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Mennonite Church near Fortuna. The Rev. Tom Voth will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Bethel Mennonite Church.
