COLLIER
Roy C. Collier, 71, Rocky Mount, died March 9, 2002, at his home.
Services will be at a later date. The body was cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home in Osage Beach.
COX
James G. Cox, 93, Jefferson City, died March 14, 2002, at St. James Veterans Home.
He was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Columbus, Ind., a son of Leon and Mary Guysie Cox. He was married in 1950, to Eunice Bingham, who died in 1987.
He owned and operated a casket finishing company. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include: one son, Donn Cox, Jefferson City; one brother, Edward Cox, San Diego; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
THRASH
Lena Christine Thrash, 84, Jefferson City, died March 14, 2002, at her home.
She was born Jan. 17, 1918, in Linn, a daughter of Herman J. and Katie Nilges Maasen. She was married Feb. 18, 1939, in Jefferson City, to Harold F. Thrash, who died June 28, 1977.
She retired in 1976 as a supervisor after 23 years of service from the driver's license department of the Missouri Department of Revenue.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Ann's Sodality; the Immaculata Club; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one daughter, Joann C. Groner, Jefferson City; two sons, Robert F. Thrash, Plano, Texas , and Donald N. Thrash, Holts Summit; three sisters, Agnes Knott, St. Louis, Teresa Slicker and Martha Toebben, both of Jefferson City; two brothers, Leo Maasen, Jefferson City, and Bill Maasen, Richland, Wash.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Eric M. Groner, the Rev. Gregory L. Higley and the Rev. John W. Groner will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a rosary at 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Church Endowment Fund or the Helias Foundation.
SKAIN
G. Roberta "Bobbie" Skain, 87, Jefferson City, died March 14, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in St. Louis, a daughter of George T. and Della Blanche Myers Huston. She was married June 17, 1950, to John Joseph Skain, who survives at the home.
She worked at the Missouri Department of Welfare until 1951. She was a 1932 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She attended Jefferson City Junior College and received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Missouri.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Ann's Sodality; Immaculate Conception Church Circle; Guadalupe Circle; Jefferson City Music Club; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary.
Other survivors include: two sons, John C. Skain, Germantown, Ill., and Michael J. Skain, Jefferson City; and three grandsons.
One daughter, Patricia A. Skain, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Timothy M. Tatro and the Rev. Gregory L. Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Helias High School, Immaculate Conception Church or the Carmelite Monastery.
HILLER
Ione J. Hiller, 90, Versailles, died March 15, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born May 25, 1911, in Corydon, Pa., a daughter of Francis and Della Smith Rodgers. She was married May 3, 1930, in Corydon, to Marvin R. Hiller, who died in 1974.
She worked at the Borden Company in Pennsylvania for 16 years. She moved to Versailles in 1993. She resided for the past several months at the Kidwell Home in Versailles. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Versailles, where she belonged to the Gleaners Sunday school class.
Survivors include: three sons, Lawrence Hiller Sr., Versailles, Roy Hiller, Montrose, Colo., and Ronald Hiller, Berkley, Mich.; three daughters, Doris Fullen, Versailles, Bonita Babcock, Canandaigua, N.Y., and Sharon Salzman, Dunkirk, N.Y.; one brother, Fred Rodgers, Collegedale, Tenn.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
One son, Alan Hiller, and one daughter, Winifred Klock, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Rocky Mount.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Versailles.
BOLIN
Jerry K. Bolin, 62, California, died March 14, 2002, at California Care Center.
He was born April 18, 1939, in Moniteau County, a son of Brownie W. and Emma Pierson Bolin.
He was married Aug. 6, 1965, in California, to Ethel R. Tims, who survives at the home.
He was retired from Cargill, Inc., where he was employed for 32 years as assistant QA supervisor. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and graduated from California High School in 1957.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Michelle R. Bolin, California; one son, Timothy K. Bolin, California; two brothers, Frank Bolin, California and Ralph Bolin, Goddard; one sister, Emma Jean Burns, Oak Grove; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Catholic Church. Msgr. Francis Gillgannon will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Cemetery, north of California.
Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Community Hospices of America.
BAX
Herbert Joseph Bax, 81, Osage Bend, died March 15, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Folk, a son of Bernard M. and Elizabeth "Betty" Schoenauer Bax. He was married May 24, 1944, in Osage Bend, to Irene Marie Schmidt, who died Feb. 24, 2002.
He owned and operated a farm in Osage Bend. He was also a feed salesman and cabinet maker.
He was a member of the St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church, Osage Bend; Osage River Flood Control Association; and the Over-Fifty Club.
Survivors include: three daughters, Elaine K. Brandt, Chamois, Janice M. Groner, St. Thomas, and Carolyn E. Bax, Osage Bend; two sons, Kenneth J. Bax and Glenn E. Bax, both of Osage Bend; two sisters, Hilda Libbert, Eugene, and Mary Jane Frank, Linn; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church, Osage Bend. The Rev. Louis E. Dorn will officiate. Burial will be in St. Margaret of Antioch Cemetery, Osage Bend.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

GILLMORE
Virginia K. Gillmore, 83, Osage Beach, died March 14, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born June 5, 1918, in Honey Creek, a daughter of Herman and Sophia Hager Korsmeyer. She was married Nov. 30, 1939, in Jefferson City, to Howard P. Gillmore, who died Jan. 21, 1986.
She was a lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area and worked at Oberman's Pant Factory for 14 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Wainwright Methodist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Fred Gillmore, McDonough, Ga., Norman Gillmore, Lake Ozark, and Lionell Gillmore, Holts Summit; one daughter, Joyce A. Mackney, Osage Beach; one sister, Margaret Roberson, Marshfield; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. The Rev. Rudolph W. Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Diabetes Association.
GILLMORE
Theodore "Ted" Gillmore, 78, Hancock, died March 29, 2002, at Phelps County Regional Hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Swedeborg, a son of James and Frances Reed Gillmore. He was married Sept. 22, 1946, in Columbus, Kan., to Shirley Jean Quiring, who survives at the home.
He was a member of Hancock Christian Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
He worked as an auto body and fender repairman for Bench Motors, Waynesville, for 35 years until his retirement in 1980.
Other survivors include: one son, David Gillmore, Jamestown; two daughters, Patricia Copeland, Hancock, and Teresa Kelley, Crocker; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dixon Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Dobyns will officiate.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday at the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.
