GALE
Services were Wednesday for Betty Rose Bonner Gale, 72, Portland, Ore., formerly of Macks Creek, who died Feb. 10, 1999, at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Macks Creek, a daughter of Irvin and Flora Eidson Bonner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Macks Creek.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cheryl Kowalski, Portland; one brother, Keith Bonner, Pennsylvania ; two sisters, Alta May Taylor, Belton, and Nadine Worlein, Spray, Ore.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were at Macks Creek Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
KETTERLIN
Betty Mae Ketterlin, 75, Silverthorne, Colo., formerly of Osage Beach, died June 8, 1999, in Silverthorne.
She was born July 4, 1923, in Vernon, Kan. She was married to Joe Ketterlin, who preceded her in death.
In 1961 she moved with her husband to Osage Beach, where she began her career as the owner and operator of a small resort and then as a real estate broker, developer and contractor at the Lake. She built and developed condominiums including the Knolls, St. Louis; Chateau du Mont, Keystone, Colo.; Summer Ridge and Spindrifter, both at the Lake of the Ozarks. She also built several family and commercial properties. She retired in 1994 and moved to Silverthorne.
Survivors include: one brother, Robert E. Adams, Lebanon; one daughter, Michelle Common, Silverthorne; two sons, Joseph G. Ketterlin, Independence, and Robert V. Ketterlin, Seattle; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lake of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark. Burial of cremains will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
RAILTON
Edgar Joseph Railton Jr., 78, Fulton, died June 10, 1999, at Presbyterian Manor Care Center, Fulton.
He was born July 19, 1920, in Elston, a son of Edgar J. Sr. and Winifred Bowman Railton. He was married April 2, 1943, in Fulton, to Grace Naughton, who died July 9, 1993.
A graduate of Fulton High School, he worked as a welder at Harbison-Walker Refractories for 38 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City.
Survivors include: two sons, Randy Railton and Rickie Railton, both of Fulton; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will from 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association or Kingdom Hospice.
RUSSELL
Troy M. Russell, 81, Jefferson City, died June 11, 1999, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Vienna, a son of John W. and Clara Mae Phillips Russell. He was married June 1, 1940, in Columbia, to Hazel G. Fletcher, who died Sept. 19, 1996.
An Army veteran of World War II, he worked for Missouri Power and Light Co. as a lineman for more than 30 years and was a charter member of the Kilowatt Credit Union in Jefferson City.
He was a Golden Eagle with Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693 and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1003. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Disabled American Veterans, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Northern Cherokee Nation of the Old Louisiana Territory.
Survivors include: three daughters, Kay Newberry, Fran Russell and Sue Hall, all of Jefferson City; four brothers, Forest Russell, Holts Summit, Johnnie Russell and Carl Russell, both of Jefferson City, and Claude Russell, Roosevelt, Ariz.; three sisters, Josephine Boeckman, Tucson, Ariz., Lola Mae Jacobsen, Brighton, Colo., and Hattie Langendoerfer, Chamois; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark West will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Friendship House of Jefferson City or the Jefferson City chapter of the American Cancer Society.
COLVIN
Louis Colvin, 69, Iberia, died June 10, 1999, at his home.
He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Miller County, a son of Lonnie and Sarah Shelton Colvin. He was married Sept. 25, 1951, in Tuscumbia, to Billie Ann Moffitt, who survives at the home.
He was a member of Pleasant Christian Church, Iberia. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a life member of VFW Post No. 6167, Iberia; and Harry Herron Disabled American Veteran Post, Waynesville. He had been employed in Civil Service at Fort Leonard as a heavy equipment operator. He retired in 1979.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Peggy Layman, Crocker, and Kathy Duncan, Iberia; two brothers, Dalla Colvin, Iberia, and Dennis Colvin, Crocker; one sister, Delores Colvin, Macks Creek; five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crocker Christian Church. Bro. Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday at Crocker Christian Church.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Hospice, Crocker.
Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.
JETT
Bessie Mae Jett, 93, Bland, died June 11, 1999, at Frene Valley Nursing Home, Owensville.
She was born June 24, 1905, in Dixon, a daughter of Timothy and Ella Jones Yoakum. She was married May 12, 1924, to Victor Jett, who preceded her in death.
She had worked at International Shoe Company, Bland. She later worked at International Shoe Company, Jefferson City. She was a member of the Eastern Star; Ladies of the Lions Club; and First Baptist Church, Bland.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vera Thompson, Bland; two sons, Delmar Jett, Bland, and Herbert Jett, Lamar; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Louis Jett, one infant daughter, Naomi Jett, and one grandson.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Bland. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Sassman's Funeral Home, Bland.
MARTIN
Christian K. Martin, 24, Latham, died June 10, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born March 23, 1975, near Fortuna, a son of Roy M. and Annetta B. Kilmer Martin, who survive in Latham.
Other survivors include: three brothers, John Alvin Martin, California, Wesley Martin and Lee Edwin Martin, both of the home; four sisters, Elizabeth Martin, Martindale, Pa., Mary Shirk, Barnett, Martha Martin and Katie Mae Martin, both of the home; maternal grandfather, Christian Kilmer, Barnett; and paternal grandfather, Alvin Martin, Kutztown, Pa.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church, near Latham. Abner Oberholtzer, Irvin Weaver and Amos Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Community Center, near Latham.

WHITTLE
Mary Elizabeth Whittle, 82, Lebanon, formerly of Iberia, died June 11, 1999, at Balanced Care North, Lebanon.
She was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Big Springs, Ky., a daughter of Alvia Wright. She was married in 1936 in Tuscumbia to Virgil L. Whittle, who died Aug. 18, 1982.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Protestant faith. She worked at Fort Leonard Wood in the kitchen for many years. At the time of her retirement in 1976, she was employed at Jodie's Cafe in Waynesville.
Survivors include: one son, Ora Lee Whittle, Fairbanks, Alaska; one daughter, Christine Drawdy, Seattle; one brother, Monty Wright, Des Moines, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Tom Lowrance will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.
BRANCH
Jack Lewis Branch, 71, Jefferson City, died June 12, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born March 17, 1928, in Wainwright, a son of Robert C. and Nealy O'Dell Wilson Branch. He was married Sept. 4, 1954, in St. Elizabeth, to Jeanette Clare Oligschlaeger, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he worked for RC Cola and Central Trust Bank. He was employed in the maintenance department of United Water Missouri for 15 years until his retirement in 1993.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Other survivors include: one son, James J. Branch, Jefferson City; five daughters, Mary J. Blankenship and Kathryn M. Abernathy, both of Jefferson City, and Ann B. Rackers, Jane E. Kohler and Julie E. Branch, all of St. Louis; two sisters, Marie Rackers, Jefferson City, and Fannie Brocious, Stover; three brothers, Frank Branch, Havasu City, Ariz., Robert C. Branch Jr., Gravois Mills, and Norman Branch, Jefferson City; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Gregory L. Higley and the Rev. Donald E. Siciliano will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
