RENNER
Nellie Frances Renner, 90, Fulton, died April 9, 2002, at Fulton Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 28, 1911, in Fulton, a daughter of John A. and Mary Mildred Hook Maddox. She was married in 1946 to Paul F. Renner, who died June 24, 1983.
She was a member of the Church of God (Holiness).
Survivors include: two sons, Frank Leonard Renner and Russell Clyde Renner, both of Fulton; two daughters, Mary Frances Anthem and Lillie Branch, both of Fulton; one sister, Ellen Hockmeyer, St. Charles; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One granddaughter and one great-grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. I.C. Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

CROW
Irene Cora Crow, 91, Versailles, died April 10, 2002, at Golden Age Living Center, Stover.
She was born Sept. 22, 1910, near Stover, a daughter of Edward J. and Emma Mae Kreiling Vogt. She was married Oct. 17, 1931, to Charles A. Crow, who died Nov. 8, 1973.
She was a homemaker and worked as a machine operator at the Brown Shoe Company in Versailles.
Survivors include: two brothers, Earl Vogt, Versailles, and Ross Vogt, Mountain Home, Ark.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
HILL
Sophie Hill, 90, Tuscumbia, died April 10, 2002, in Kansas City.
She was born Sept. 1, 1911, in Meno, Okla., a daughter of Ralph and Gertrude McGill Wilson. She was married June 10, 1931, in Miller County, to John Hill, who died June 20, 1992.
A member of Saline Valley Church of Christ, her poetry appeared in the New Mark News Letter. She provided child care for local families.
Survivors include: three sons, Stanley Hill and Richard Hill, both of Kansas City, and Clifford Hill, Eldon; one daughter, Shirley Naylor, Gladstone; one brother, Marcus Wilson, Raymore; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
SAPP
Janet Sapp, 62, Ashland, died April 11, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born July 1, 1939, in St. Louis, a daughter of Cecil N. and Mary Elizabeth Scruggs Scott. She was married April 15, 1961, in Brazito, to Jimmy Lloyd Sapp, who survives in Ashland.
She worked for the Missouri Cattlemen's Association as an administrative coordinator since 1972. She was a member of Little Bonne Femme Church, Columbia. She received the Cattlemen Woman of the Year award from the Cattlemen's Association.
Survivors include: one son, Scott Sapp, Ashland; one daughter, Janna Mahan, Ashland; two sisters, Betty Ford, Henley, and Lendra Manning, Jefferson City; four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in New Salem Cemetery, Ashland. The Rev. David Ford will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri Cattlemen Foundation, 2306 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, Mo.
McENTIRE
DeWitt "Mac" McEntire, 81, Wichita, Kan., died April 11, 2002, in Wichita.
He was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Newark, a son of Michael J. and Dale Preston McEntire. He was married Sept. 26, 1948, to E. Fern Claybrook, who preceded him in death.
He was owner of Jayhawk Optical until his retirement. He was veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: two sons, Kent McEntire, Valley Center, Kan., and Kean McEntire, Dallas, Texas ; one daughter, Donna Masters, Aberdeen, S.D.; one sister, Margaret Rich, Jefferson City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Wichita. The Rev. Helen R. Betenbaugh and the Rev. Albert Schuessler will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, Kan.
Memorials are suggested to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 7230 E. 29th St. N., Wichita, Kan. 67220.

HAGER
Otto Herman Hager, 90, Columbia, died April 10, 2002, at his home.
He was born Feb. 16, 1912, in Henley, a son of John P. and Mary Edna Gress Hager. He was married Oct. 2, 1974, in Columbia, to Frances Fern Noel, who survives.
He owned and operated Hager Radiator Service, Columbia, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Jefferson City.
Other survivors include; three sons, Larry L. Noel, Philip F. Noel, and Thomas E. Noel, all of Columbia; one sister, Elizabeth Roark, Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Parker Funeral Service in Columbia. The Rev. Steve Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
HESS
Jimmie Lee Hess, 71, Jefferson City, died April 11, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born July 17, 1930, in Quincy, Ill., a son of Leo and Osa Jenkins Hess. He was married Aug. 5, 1970, in Las Vegas, to Dorothy White , who survives at the home.
He graduated from Quincy High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: one stepson, Gary Lee White , Lee's Summit; one brother, Randy K. Hess, Dallas, Texas ; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be Saturday. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to St. Marys Health Center.
HARRISON
Dorothy Gladys Harrison, 84, Jefferson City, died April 11, 2002, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Clarksburg, a daughter of Hugh and Bertha Fain Frye. She was married June 24, 1939, in California, to Theodore Victor Harrison, who died Dec. 30, 1991.
She worked for JC Penney for many years. She worked for the State of Missouri for 25 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Theodore R. Harrison and Ronald L. Harrison, both of Jefferson City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. The Rev. Rick Conley will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Elston Baptist Church.
POWELL
Donald Melville Powell, 80, Henley, died April 11, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1922, in Wellsville, a son of John Hughes and Esther Virginia Oliver Powell. He was married in October 1953 in Joliet, Ill., to Clara Duensing, who died Aug. 30, 1968.
He was an over-the-road truck driver and worked for Days Transfer, Brady Motor Freight and Smith Transfer, from which he retired in 1987 after 36 years of driving. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert A. Powell, San Jose, Calif., and Richard C. Powell, Blanford, Ind.; two daughters, Janice Heimericks, Henley, and Jean Stone, Jefferson City; two sisters: Virginia Burns Norton, Sparta, Mich., and Frances Fisk, Rockford, Mich.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, Illinois.
