ELLIOTT

Brenda C. Elliott, 69, Columbia, died May 13, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center.

She was born June 12, 1932, in Independence, a daughter of Arthur E. and Ellen Terry Mosier Constance. She was married June 7, 1953, in Columbia, to Brownlee W. Elliott, who survives in Columbia.

She graduated from Warsaw High School and the University of Missouri with a bachelor degree in English. She worked for 28 years at General Motors Proving Ground as executive secretary to the director and later to the vice president of GM Engineering in Milford, Mich. She also worked for Electronic Data Systems for five years before retiring. She moved to Columbia in March 2002 from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. She attended Calvary Episcopal Church in Columbia. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Michigan Weavers Guild, and past president of ECW at Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. She was a member of Daughters of the King and Christ Church Cranbrook choir. She was a delegate of Province 5 at the Episcopal Church Convention in 1997. She was Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, Diocesan Episcopal Church Women executive committee member.

Other survivors include one son, Andrew S. Elliott, Milford, Mich., and one sister, Agnes Kurtz, Peculiar.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Episcopal Church. The Rev. Dawn-Victoria Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in  Jefferson City.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Funeral Service in Columbia.

Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research Center, 3501 Berrywood, Columbia, Mo. 65201, or to Christ Church Cranbrook, Music at Christ Church Cranbrook, Church Rd., Bloomfield Hills, Mich., 48302.

ELLIOTT

Elsie M. Fischer Elliott, 88, California, died May 13, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 19, 1914, in Cooper County, a daughter of Charley and Blanche Barron Toler. She was married June 10, 1933, in  Jefferson City, to Walter Arnold Fischer, who died April 20, 1967. She was married in October 1968 to Earl Elliott, who died in September 1977.

She was a homemaker and attended Whitlinger School. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and taught Sunday school at Oakland and Clarksburg Baptist Churches. She was also active in Bible school.

Survivors include: one son, Bobby Fischer, Pueblo, Colo.; one daughter, Anna Bowles, California; two sisters, Faye Dameron and Alice Crawford, both of California; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

One infant daughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The Rev. Kevin Blackburn and the Rev. Roy Dameron will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

Memorials are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, c/o Dean Birdsong, 27626 Hwy. H, Clarksburg, Mo. 65025; or the Hickman Cemetery Fund, c/o Jerry Martin-treasurer, 901 S. Thomas St., California, Mo. 65018.

ENLOE

John Smith Enloe Sr., 83, Morrison, died May 13, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born May 6, 1919, in Bay, a son of Dr. John S. and Carrie Hargrave Enloe. He was married May 6, 1939, in Chamois, to Manilla Opal Stock, who survives at the home.

He attended schools in Bay and Linn. He lived in St. Louis from 1952-1978. He worked for International Harvester for 26 years, until his retirement in 1978. Following retirement, he moved back to Osage County. He was a member of  Oklahoma Church of Christ where he served on the board of elders. He was a member of Linn Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite.

Survivors include: two sons, Dr. John S. Enloe, Jr., Montgomery, Ala., and David Paul Enloe, Weatherford, Texas ; one daughter, Sue Ann Mohr, Chamois; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at  Oklahoma Church of Christ. Pastor Mark Gregor and Don King will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Morton Funeral Home in Linn, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

HEYER

Jane Heyer, 68, Vienna, died May 12, 2002, in  Jefferson City.

She was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Maries County, a daughter of Charles L. and Margaret Elizabeth Hollis Brumble. She was married March 27, 1970, to Herbert Henry Heyer, who survives in Vienna.

She was a member of Wheeler Christian Church, Dixon. She was a case worker for the Division of Social Services in  Jefferson City until 1972. She then owned and operated Jane's Fabrics in Vienna and Belle until 1984. She also was a homemaker.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Marilyn Dagenhardt,  Jefferson City, and Judy Malone, Springfield; two stepsons, Roy Heyer, Belle, and Steve Heyer,  Jefferson City; five granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Jerome Brownlee will officiate. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Dixon.

Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today and from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Wheeler Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

MOON

Pearl Moon, 94, Vienna, died May 12, 2002, at Maries Manor, Vienna.

She was born Feb. 27, 1908, in Summit, Ark., a daughter of John M. and Emma Sue Wagner Hampton. She was married to Alex Reed, who preceded her in death. She was married to Nathaniel Daggett, who preceded her in death. She was married to Archie Elwood Moon, who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Vienna.

Survivors include: one son, John William Reed,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Lena Mae Reed Moon, Russellville; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandson.

One son, Norman Henry Moon, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate. Burial will be in Rader Cemetery, Vienna.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Rader Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

RUEHL

Angela Marie Ruehl, 92,  Jefferson City, died May 12, 2002, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

She was born March 16, 1910, in France, a daughter of Peter and Antionette LaBorde Ulivi. She was married Aug. 14, 1935, in Cole City, Ill., to Walter S. Ruehl, who died June 5, 1998.

She attended school in Cole City. She was a fashion model for Angeliene Studio in Chicago from 1927-1932. She worked in retail from 1958-1961.

Survivors include: one son, Alan Ruehl, Fox Lake, Ill.; one daughter, Sherrie Brant,  Jefferson City; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosary services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. Burial will be in Wilmington, Ill.

Visitation will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.

MILLER

William F. "Bill" Miller Sr., 80, Jamestown, died May 13, 2002, at his home.

He was born April 7, 1922, in California, a son of Luther and Henrietta Morgan Miller. He was married Feb. 7, 1950, in California, to Helen Mae McNay, who died Oct. 15, 2000.

He worked at a CC Camp near Fulton, and the Woolen Mill in California. He owned and operated Macs Cafˇ in California and worked for Bowlin Funeral Home. He moved to Omaha, Neb., where he owned and operated a Standard Oil service station and worked as a maintenance man for Fruehauf. In 1963, he moved back to Missouri and worked for Twin City Heating and Cooling Company. He later owned this business. He owned and operated Millers Northside Market in California and later worked for the Department of Corrections, until he retired in 1986. He was a member of Cedron Catholic Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: one son, Fred Miller, Clarksburg; four daughters, Judy Ehrhardt and Madonna Duncan, both of  Jefferson City, Billie Tyler, California, and Mary Fairfax, Russellville; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

One son, James Marvin, died in 1968. One grandson also preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. Burial with military honors will be in Cedron Cemetery north of California.

Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to Community Hospice of America, 3600 I-70 Dr. SE, Columbia, Mo. 65201; or Cedron Cemetery Fund, in care of Jim Imhoff, 19206 Hwy D., California, Mo. 65018.

CRUMP

Martha Crump, 96, Ashland, died May 14, 2002, at Ashland Healthcare.

She was born Sept. 13, 1905, in Ashland, a daughter of Lute and Maude Beach Christian. She was married Aug. 31, 1946, in Ashland, to Gordon Crump, who died in 1995.

She worked for the Missouri State Teacher's Association until her retirement. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Ashland. She also farmed. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Paul Larimore will officiate. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Ashland.

Memorials are suggested to New Salem Baptist Church in Ashland.

DANNER

Lavon Eugene Danner, 68, Gladstone, formerly of  Jefferson City, died May 11, 2002.

He was born April 10, 1934, in Macon, a son of Earl and Lucille J. Maddy Danner.

He graduated from Macon High School in 1951. He was a 40-year railroad employee, retiring from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He was a former Missouri state chairman of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Survivors include: two sons, Steve Danner and Shane Danner; two daughters, Stephanie Danner and Shavonne Danner; one sister, Joanne Garner; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. today at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone.

Memorials are suggested to the BLE/SCM Scholarship Fund, in care of Leo Srubas, 5005 Georgia Avenue, Kansas City, Kan. 66104.
