GADOW
Kathryn Spieler Gadow, 102, Chesterfield -- a former California resident --died May 17, 2002, at Bethesda Meadow, Ellisville.
She was born May 11, 1900, in Jamestown, a daughter of Charlie and Kathrine Knorp. She was married Sept. 3, 1919, to Elmer Spieler, who died in March 1949. She was married in 1952 to Armin Gadow, who died in 1982.
She attended school in the Jamestown area.
She worked at the California Pants Factory (now California Manufacturing) for several years, and also worked for the Emery Byrd Thayer Department Store in Kansas City.
She was a member of the California United Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the choir and the Women's Guild.
Survivors include: one son, Bob Spieler, Chesterfield; one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the California United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Gary Schulte officiating. Burial will be in California's Evangelical Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:30-7:30 p.m. today at the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

HOLLIS
Lucille Hollis, 74, Vienna, died May 18, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1927, in Maries County, a daughter of Rainey and Dulcy Burnham Woody. She was married Aug. 2, 1947, in Vienna, to Eugene Hollis, who survives at the home.
She was a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church, near Vienna; the Coffey Brothers Memorial American Legion Post 12 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as treasurer; the Maries County Democrat Committee; the Missouri State Democrat Committee; and the Maries County Committee Woman for Jackson Township and Boone Township.
She attended Central Missouri State College, Warrensburg, and Southwest Baptist College, Bolivar. She taught school at Thompson Hill School, Meta; Flat Top School, Vienna; and Prosperity School, Dixon. She worked in the Maries County Treasurer's Office, Vienna, for 20 years before retiring in 1980.
Other survivors include: two sons, Randy Hollis and Rex Hollis, both of Vienna; one daughter, Judy Logan, Vienna; two sisters, Norma Jean Osborn, Smith Center, Kan., and Pauline Stricklan, Dixon; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Burial will be in Stokes Cemetery, Meta.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

KMIEC
Max Kmiec, 88, Chamois, died May 16, 2002, at Green Meadows Skilled Care in Linn.
He was born May 29, 1913, in Chicago, a son of Peter and Anna Kozki Kmiec. He was married to Francis "Ruby" Elder, who died Feb. 18, 1988.
He had worked in maintenance for a Chicago factory.
Survivors include: two sons, Hubert "Pete" Kmiec, and Nickey Kmiec, both of Chamois; one daughter, Clara Meyer, state of Arizona; two step-daughters, Iva Sue Wells, Chicago, and Bonnie Shoults, Linn; two sisters, Helen Roubas and Virginia Decker, both of Chicago; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Morton Funeral Chapel, Linn, with Pastor Don King officiating. Burial will be in the Lane Cemetery, near Linn.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
McCOLLOM
Ruthie Mae McCollom, 66, Stover, died May 18, 2002, at the Golden Age Living Center, Stover.
She was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Morgan County, a daughter of Melvin G. and Osie Silvey Burnett. She was married May 9, 1952, in Morgan County, to Claude Raymond McCollom, who died May 18, 1997.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church near Stover.
Survivors include: two sons, Glen Dale McCollom, Stover, and David Eugene McCollom, Versailles; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Whitesell, Stover; one sister, Helen Louise Sousley, Independence; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover, with the Rev. Delmon Marriott officiating. Burial will be in the Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the New Bethel Baptist Church.
MEYER
C. Lloyd Meyer, 67, Jefferson City, died May 17, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born June 18, 1934, in Moberly, a son of Charles Edward and Elsie B. Jones Meyer. He was married April 27, 1953, in Jefferson City, to Shirley M. Starke, who survives at the home.
He was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1977 graduate of the FBI National Academy. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a driver examiner with the Missouri State Highway Patrol from 1956-1958, then served on the patrol for 34 years, until retiring in 1992 as commander of Troop B in Macon. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral; Meadow Lake Acres Country Club and the American Legion Post 5. He also was a board member of Cole County Public Water District One.
Other survivors include: three sons, Greg L. Meyer and Thomas L. Meyer, both of Jefferson City, and Scott E. Meyer, Liberty; five daughters, Linda M. Anders, Trenton, Debbie L. Hilke and Carol J. Meyer, all of Jefferson City, and Teresa A. Mackay and Barb L. Gordon, both of Holts Summit; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Cathedral, with the Rev. Brendan Doyle and the Rev. Fred Elskamp officiating. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors-- Jefferson City Chapel, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Helias Foundation or the Vitae Society.
WIEBERG
Opal L. Wieberg, 71, New Bloomfield, died May 17, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Selden, Kan., a daughter of Roy and Edith Asbury Teais. She was married July 2, 1949, to Fred D. Trowbridge, who died Dec. 21, 1968. She was married in 1976 to Gilbert Wieberg, who died in 1986.
She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. She had been employed at Fulton State Hospital in the Dietary Department.
Survivors include: two sons, Jack Trowbridge, Calwood, and Fred L. Trowbridge, Fulton; one daughter, Helen Hile, New Bloomfield; three sisters, Viola Crawford, Marshall, Verale Louise Cain, Baytown, Texas , and Iva Morts, Fulton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hopewell Baptist Church, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Ricky Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. today at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
EISTERHOLD
August P. "Gus" Eisterhold, 69, Rich Fountain, died May 18, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Rich Fountain, a son of August J. and Mathilda Rudor Eisterhold. He was married Nov. 24, 1955, in Vienna, to Betty Rose Schwartze Eisterhold, who survives at the home.
He was a self-employed construction contractor and was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He was a member of VFW Post 8045, American Legion Post 0317 and a board member of Freeburg Fire Department. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include: six sons, Michael G. Eisterhold, Duane E. Eisterhold, Dennis A. Eisterhold, Douglas G. Eisterhold, Norman "Ernie" Eisterhold and Norbert "Bert" Eisterhold, all of Rich Fountain; one daughter, Sandra Ann "Sue" Fick, Rich Fountain; two brothers, Charlie Eisterhold, Jefferson City, and Gerald Eisterhold, Conners, Ga.; six sisters, Rosie Schulte, Argyle, Georgia Mebruer, Rich Fountain, Betty Bocklage, Westphalia, Esther Dalton, Jefferson City, Susie Bauer, Freeburg, and Ruthie Schellman, Centertown; and 19 grandchildren.
A son, Brian Lee Eisterhold, died April 25, 1963 and a daughter, Belinda Kay Eisterhold, died May 18, 1971.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain. The Rev. Mark Porterfield and the Rev. James Finder will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

CLARK
Clyde Edmond Clark, 76, Jefferson City, died May 19, 2002, at Sunset Health Care Center, Union.
He was born Sept. 4, 1925, in DeLeon, Texas , a son of Thomas and Maude English Clark. He was married March 17, 1946, in Jefferson City, to Juanita Willis, who survives.
He was a 1943 graduate of DeLeon High School. He worked 27 years for the United States Postal Service as a special delivery messenger until his retirement in 1986. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: one son, Lloyd Clark, Weatherford, Texas ; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Sherry Ann Nelson, died Feb. 23, 1996.
Private family services will be held. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of St. Marys Health Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
FISHER
Doris Mae "Dody" Fisher, 66, Henley, died May 19, 2002, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Quincy, Ill., a daughter of Joseph A. and Helen Katherine Treaster Bastean. She was married Oct. 20, 1960, in Jefferson City, to Paul Richard Fisher, who survives at the home.
She attended Notre Dame High School in Quincy, Ill. She owned and operated Dody's Gas, Grocery & Liquor Store in Brazito for 20 years, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include: two sons, Leroy Joseph Fisher and Paul Richard Fisher, both of Jefferson City; two daughters, Cindy Sue Ojeda and Paula Lucille Massman, both of Jefferson City; two stepsons, Kenneth Fisher, Russellville, and David Fisher, Henley; two stepdaughters, Marcia Matthews, Tuscumbia, and Mary Rains, Henley; two brothers, Albert "Bud" Bastean, Quincy, Ill., and Dennis Bastean, Ocean Springs, Miss.; two sisters, Theresa Marshall, state of Iowa, and Ursula Elledge, Pomona, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and 11 step great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Doris May "Sissy" Fry, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Louis Dorn and the Rev. Cyrus Crum will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Research Fund.
