BROOKS

Ferrell "Sonny" Brooks, 65, Eldon, died June 13, 2002, in  Jefferson City.

He was born July 2, 1936, in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Ferrell O. and Marie Brooks. He was married to Dorothy Davis, who survives in Eldon.

He was a truck driver.

Other survivors include: one son, Ronald Brooks, Taylor, Ariz.; two stepsons, Thomas Morrison, Eldon, and Wayne Morrison, Silsby, Texas ; three stepdaughters, Patricia Teegarden, Robin Hall and Stacey Morrison, all of Jonesboro, Ind.; four brothers; four sisters; and grandchildren.

The remains were cremated. Services will be at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

CRISMON

Sadie Crismon, 101, Meta, died June 13, 2002, at Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna.

She was born March 4, 1901, in Brinktown, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Traister Bremer. She was married Jan. 15, 1927, in Lebanon, to Fred Crismon, who died May 22, 1965.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Vienna.

Survivors include: two sons, Freddie Crismon, House Springs, and Donald Crismon, St. Charles; three daughters, Vada Wilson, St. Charles, Louise Albertson, Vienna, and Ethel Belk,  Jefferson City; one brother, Johnny Bremer, Dixon; three sisters, Minnie Rowden, Gertrude Veasman and Jerry Withers, all of Dixon; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Forrest Crismon, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Mike Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Vienna Public Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

DELKA

Darlene W. Delka, 83, Versailles, died June 12, 2002, in Versailles.

She was born March 17, 1919, in Winterset, Iowa, a daughter of John W. and Mable G. Goodale Hertzog. She was married Nov. 29, 1937, in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to Raymond C. Delka, who died Aug. 30, 1973.

She was a homemaker and a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church, Eldon.

Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Mae Walker, Caulfield; one brother, Robert Hertzog, Porterville, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Carlene Rae Delka, preceded her in death.

Private burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

GREEN

Kenneth Lloyd Green, 71, Versailles, died June 13, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Jackson, a son of Lloyd A. and Viola Graves Green. He was married March 18, 1950, to Peggy S. Woods, who survives at the home.

He was a salesman and a member of the Trinity Southern Baptist Church, Versailles.

Other survivors include: one son, Kenneth L. Green Jr., Frederick, Md.; one daughter, Lockie Moritz, Versailles; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. James Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

HARTGE

Howard William Hartge, 81, Chamois, died June 12, 2002, at Hospice Friendship House,  Jefferson City.

He was born Sept. 2, 1920, in Morrison, a son of Ben and Alice Eickhoff Hartge. He was married July 23, 1944, in Morrison, to Viola Stephan, who died May 28, 1992.

He was a farmer and a member of St. James United Church of Christ in Morrison.

Survivors include: one son, Bernard Hartge, Chamois; one daughter, Barbara Wolfe, Linn; one sister, Elsie Garstang, Chamois; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James United Church of Christ. The Rev. Richard Don and the Rev. Darrell Bockting will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, Morrison.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

WRIGHT

Regina Marie Wright, 49, Sunrise Beach, died June 9, 2002, at her home.

She was born Jan 12, 1953, in Erzingen, Germany, a daughter of Anselm and Berta Brunner Reck. Her mother survives in Klettgau, Germany. She was married May 9, 1975, to Hersey Lemuel Wright Jr., who survives at the home.

She lived in Germany, Rome, Paris, and London. She received a bachelor's degree in Avila, Kan., and her master's degree from the University of Kansas. She worked with Hallmark Corporation in Kansas City for 15 years before retiring and moving to the Lake of the Ozarks. She was a Christian and volunteered at the Dogwood Animal Shelter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Pastor Nick Stutesman will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the Dogwood Thrift Shop.

BRANSON

Ben Branson, 70, Dixon, died June 13, 2002, at his home.

He was born May 23, 1932, in Brinktown. He was married April 27, 1962, in Dixon, to Shirley Diane Doyel, who survives in Dixon.

He owned and operated a school bus for Vienna School District. After his retirement he was a full-time farmer and mechanic. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include: two daughters, Deana Woody and Diane Weider, both of Dixon; one brother, Bill Branson, Maine; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon. Pastor Jerry Dooley will officiate. Burial will be in Branson Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today.

GREGORY

Jennifer Shelton Gregory, 24, Eldon, died June 13, 2002, in Eldon.

She was born Nov. 2, 1977, in Mountain View, Calif., a daughter of Ted and Beverly Beavers Ballenger. Her parents survive in Eldon.

She was a receptionist at a hair salon.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jason Patrick, Eldon, and Dominique Shelton, Dixon; one daughter, Jade Shelton, Dixon; two sisters, Jackie Arnold, Eldon, and Chrystal Patrick, Pittsburg, Kan.; two stepbrothers; two stepsisters; five half-sisters; one half-brother; maternal grandmother, Carol Beavers, Tuscumbia; paternal grandmother, Ruby Helms, Brumley; and paternal grandparents, Ed and Evelyn Jost, Iona, Calif.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Freedom Cemetery, Linn Creek. The Rev. Robert Hoskins will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested in care of the family.

GLAVIN

Services were Monday for George H. Glavin, 89, Chamois, who died June 14, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Jan. 15, 1913, in Chamois, a son of William and Clemence Senevey Glavin. He was married Jan. 15, 1946, in Frankenstein, to Margaret M. Dudenhoeffer, who died Feb. 27, 2000.

He attended Deer Creek School and the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, Chamois. An Army veteran of World War II, he received six Bronze Stars. He was a lifelong farmer in the Chamois area.

He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Chamois, and was a life member of VFW Post 4756, Linn.

Survivors include: three sons, John Glavin and Tom Glavin, both of Chamois, and Jim Glavin, Dallas, Texas ; seven daughters, Mary Ihnfeldt, Parker, Colo., Rose Salarano, Holts Summit, Alice Sampe, Waynesville, Ruth Peterson, Ashland, Theresa Bisges and Rita Glavin, both of  Jefferson City, and Patty Villapiano, Springfield; one sister, Anna Glavin, Linn; and 14 grandchildren.

Services were in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Dowling officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Arrangements were under the direction of Meyer-Hilke-Millard Funeral Home.
