STIGALL
Mardelle Joann Stigall, 89, California, died June 19, 2002, at California Care Center.
She was born April 13, 1913, in Jefferson City, a daughter of John and Mary Wilbers Prenger. She was married Jan. 29, 1932, to Ruel Ray Stigall, who died in October 1984.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. She had lived in Eugene.
Survivors include: one son, John W. Stigall, Russellville; one sister, Jackie James, Jefferson City; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
BRONDEL
Autumn Nicole Brondel, 20, Tipton, died June 20, 2002, at the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.
She was born Feb. 11, 1982, in Sedalia, a daughter of Charles and Brenda L. Smith Brondel.
She was a member of Tipton Community Baptist Church. She graduated from Tipton High School in 2000 and was attending State Fair Community College, Sedalia. She worked as a store manager for Columbia Big Foot Cellular Telephone Store.
Survivors include: her fiance, Manning Knipp, Tipton; grandparents, Jim and Bonnie Smith, both of Tipton, Jerome and Delores Brondel, both of Eldon, and Gene and Shirley Kruse, both of Fortuna; and great-grandparents, Tom Hutcheson, Fortuna, and Helen Wilson, St. Cloud, Minn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Tipton Community Baptist Church, Tipton. The Rev. Randall DeVille will officiate. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton.
Memorials are suggested to the Tipton Community Baptist Church or Masonic Cemetery.
DICKEY
Robert "Wayne" Dickey, 72, Sunrise Beach, died June 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 24, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, a son of Otis and Zella Meisner Dickey. He was married March 7, 1969, in Omaha, Neb., to Myrna Morrison, who survives at the home.
He was in research and development in the farming business.
Other survivors include: one son, Ronald Wayne Dickey, Altoona, Iowa; one daughter, Laurie Mclain, Altoona; two stepsons, Michael Sheil, Des Moines, and Rob Sheil, Pella, Iowa; one stepdaughter, Belinda Schuring, Des Moines; one brother, Lloyd Dickey, Urbandale, Iowa; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Monday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The remains will be cremated.
UNRUH
Homer Unruh, 89, formerly of Versailles, died June 20, 2002, at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, Kan.
He was born Aug. 4, 1912, in McPherson County, Kan., a son of Abe H. and Elizabeth Wenger Unruh. He was married May 15, 1938, in Scott County, Kan., to Hazel Koehn, who survives at the home.
He was a retired farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the Beulah Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Versailles.
Other survivors include: one son, John Unruh, Rio Verde, Goia's Brazil; two daughters, Wilma Unruh, Versailles, and Ruth Williams, Wallace, Kan.; four brothers, Harvey Unruh, Louisville, Ga., Conrad Unruh and Oliver Unruh, both of Moundridge, and Clifford Unruh, Sharon Springs, Kan.; two sisters, Suzanna Koehn, Moundridge, and Martha Hughes Becker, Avera, Ga.; two half brothers, Chester Unruh, Hesston, Kan., and Russell Unruh, Wallace; 12 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beulah Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Melvin Koehn, Franklin Wenger, Stanton Unruh and Galen Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, Kan.
CHISM
Darlene Ruth Chism, 65, Versailles, died June 22, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 7, 1937, in Versailles, a daughter of Howard and Marie Redmon Holder. She was married to John M. Chism, who died Aug. 25, 1986.
She worked at Brown Shoe Company and Gates Rubber, Versailles. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church, Versailles.
Survivors include: one son, Wade Chism, Versailles; six sisters, Rosetta Brown, Nadine Holder, Florene Wheeler and Lucille Hill, all of Versailles, Alice Rhodes, Aurora, Colo., and Helen Payne, Boonville; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church, Versailles. The Rev. William Snorgrass and the Rev. Robert Ross will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

OTTO
John Joseph Otto, 53, Holts Summit, died June 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born Aug. 14, 1948, in Jefferson City, a son of Bruno J. and Catherine A. Kempker Otto. He was married Jan. 27, 1990, in Jefferson City to Diana Gocal, who survives at the home.
He was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections at the Central Missouri Correctional Center for 17 years, and later worked for Pinkerton Security and Scholastic. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ronald L. Otto, Eugene, and Shane Otto, New Bloomfield; two daughters, Shawn Otto, Holts Summit, and Jennifer Otto, Fulton; two step-daughters, Julie Keating, Russellville, and Barb Luebbert, Taos; one sister, Linda Otto Laux, Jefferson City; nine grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -- Holts Summit Chapel, with the Rev. Murl Nash officiating. Private, family burials services will be held.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
SPENCER
Dennis Anthony Spencer, 55, Cameron, formerly of Jefferson City, died June 21, 2002, at Cameron Community Hospital.
He was born May 19, 1947, in Kansas City, a son of Joe and Dorothy Louise Barnard Spencer. His father survives in Warsaw and his mother survives in Jefferson City
He attended schools in Kansas City. He worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections for 20 years at the Missouri State Penitentiary, Western Missouri Correctional Center and as a major at Crossroads Correctional Center. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include: one son, Joe Spencer, California; one daughter, Christian Duffie, Williamsburg; three brothers, Pat Spencer, Warsaw, Larry Spencer, Belton, and Robert Spencer, Jefferson City; one sister, Debbie Countryman; three grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City. The Rev. Cellias Crum will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
ALDRIDGE
Ray Aldridge, 79, Jefferson City, died June 22, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 4, 1922, in Jefferson City, a son of Dr. Mahlon R. and Caroline Morlock Aldridge. He was married July 7, 1945, in Jefferson City, to Helen Fowler, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of Missouri Military Academy in Mexico and attended Jefferson City Junior College and the University of Missouri.
He worked for various businesses in Jefferson City. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a past president of the Evening Optimist Club and was a member of the Jefferson City Country Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a past member of the VFW.
Survivors include: one son, Charles R. Aldridge, St. Louis; one daughter, Carol Richey, Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City. The Rev. Janet Hoyland and the Rev. Robert Richey will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church.
STRUEMPH
Bernard F. "Bud" Struemph, 78, Freeburg, died June 23, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Jan. 2, 1924, in Freeburg, a son of Henry and Gertrude Richter Struemph. He was married Nov. 7, 1945, in Freeburg, to Rosalyn A. Schroeder, who survives at the home.
He attended Holy Family Catholic School in Freeburg. He was a meat cutter and co-owned and operated the Freeburg Processing Plant. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Freeburg Lions Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 317.
Survivors include: three sons, Harry Struemph and David Struemph, both of Freeburg, and Gary Struemph, Jefferson City; two brothers, Emil Struemph, Wasco, Calif., and James Struemph, Fernley, Nev.; four sisters, Kate Wegman, Wasco, Calif., Liz Stratman, Teresa Bushman, and Cecelia Becker, all of Freeburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Wayne Struemph, died in 1946.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg. Fr. Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Catholic Church Capital Improvements Fund.
