POGUE

Troy E. Pogue, 58,  Jefferson City, died July 1, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

He was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Stella, a son of Vernon Sr., and Martha Wilbanks Pogue. His father survives in Neosho. He was married Aug. 26, 2000, in Miami, Okla., to Jane Cox, who survives.

He worked as assistant area director for the State of Missouri, Division of Family Services, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

Other survivors include: one son, C. Scott Pogue, Panama City Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Vanessa Serio, Panama City Beach; one stepson, Jeff Cox, Kansas City; two brothers, Vernon Pogue Jr., and Gerald Pogue, both of Neosho; one sister, Marie McKinney, Miami, Okla.; and one grandson.

One infant daughter, Tracy Pogue, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. The Rev. J.R. Burr will officiate. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Stella.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the Newton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Mo. 64850.

WIEBERG

Ildephonse "Ilde" Wieberg, 69, Argyle, died July 1, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born May 13, 1933, in Argyle, a son of Fritz and Catherine Brunnert Wieberg. He was married July 7, 1956, in Argyle, to Pauline Falter, who survives at the home.

He worked at Cupples Product in Maple Wood, retiring in 1993 and returning to Argyle. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Post 2047, both in Argyle.

Other survivors include: four brothers, Albert Wieberg, Koeltztown, Edmund Wieberg, Argyle, Urban Wieberg, Meta, and John Wieberg, Union; three sisters, Rita Payne, St. Louis, Helen Copeland, St. Peters, and Veronica McCormick, Heber Springs, Ark.

One son was stillborn March 2, 1960.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle. The Rev. John Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., followed by a rosary service. Visitation also will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to Masses or to the Diabetes Association.

WILSON

V. Eva Wilson, 88,  Jefferson City, died July 2, 2002, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.

She was born Nov. 28, 1913, in Fairdealing, a daughter of Dr. Homer E. and Bertha Powers White . She was married Feb. 1, 1935, in Naylor, to Hugh S. Wilson, who died Jan. 2, 1990.

She graduated from Naylor High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She graduated from Washington University with a degree in art.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Avenue Christian Church. She was a member of the St. Louis Weavers Guild and the St. Louis Craft Alliance.

Survivors include: two sons, Hugh W. Wilson,  Jefferson City, and Robert T. Wilson, Falls Church, Va.; one daughter, Elizabeth Eggleston, Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Dorothy Schulz, Deerfield Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Private family memorial services will be held.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.

Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

BURNS

Dorothy S. Burns, 88, Camdenton, died July 2, 2002, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.

She was born May 23, 1914, in Mohrland, Utah, a daughter of Ralph C. and Hazel Bemis Smith. She was married May 10, 1932, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to Earl F. Burns, who survives at the home.

She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Martha Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Midvale, Utah. She was a homemaker.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Janet Haines, Camdenton, and Judy Martin, Gardnerville, Nev.; one brother, Howard "Bus" Smith, Boise, Idaho; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Ralph Burns, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. Msgr. Gerald Poelker will officiate. Burial will be in Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton.

Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday with a rosary at 12:30 p.m.

CLEM

Patrick Clem, 27, Vienna, died July 3, 2002, near Vienna, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Sept. 9, 1982, in San Diego, a son of Doris Ann Clem. His parents, Bobby and Doris Wheeler, survive in Vienna.

He was a certified nurse's assistant at Green Meadows Care Center, Linn.

Other survivors include: one brother, James Preston "PJ" Clem, Vienna; and maternal grandparents, James Preston and Silvia Clem, Elsa, Ill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vienna Christian Life Assembly, Vienna. The Rev. Richard Harris and Pastor Don Kelley will officiate. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Vienna.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Visitation will also be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Patrick Clem Memorial Fund.

KIDWELL

Amy Kidwell, 27, Vienna, died July 3, 2002, near Vienna, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born Jan. 14, 1975, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Gary and Jana Crum Kidwell. Her father survives in Barnett. Her mother, Jana Crum-Sears, survives in Vienna.

She was a certified nurse's assistant at Maries Manor, Vienna, and was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church, Henley.

Other survivors include: one son, Joey Kidwell, Vienna; one daughter, Destiny Conklia, Vienna; three brothers, Luke Kidwell, Louisville, Ga., Jacob Kidwell, Eldon, and Henry Kidwell, Barnett; one sister, Margaret Kidwell, Barnett; paternal grandparents, Garland and Thelma Kidwell, Barnett; and maternal grandparents, Cellis and Edith Crum, Vienna.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Little Flock Baptist Church, Vienna. Bro. Cellis A. Crum will officiate. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Vienna.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, both at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Amy Kidwell Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

VIESSMAN

Rosalyn Ann Viessman, 83, Columbia, died July 2, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center.

She was born April 8, 1919, in Freeburg, a daughter of Anton and Antonette Pohl Schlueter. She was married June 14, 1941, in St. Louis, to Raymond B. Viessman, who died April 1, 1988.

She retired from the Secretary of State's Office in 1981. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and a life member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 5,  Jefferson City.

Survivors include: three sons, Roy Lee Viessman,  Jefferson City, Ronnie Viessman, El Cerrito, Calif., and Donnie Viessman, Columbia; six daughters, Charlotte Schauwecker, Columbia, Sandra "Sammie" Brown, Karen Sue Viessman and Mary McCormick, all of  Jefferson City, Linda Bornhoft, Lee's Summit, and Cheryl Eads, Taos; one sister, Dorothy Holterman,  Jefferson City; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship, Columbia. Pastor Scott Williams will officiate. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery,  Jefferson City.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia.

Memorials are suggested to Christian Fellowship Church or Christian Fellowship School, 4600 Christian Fellowship Road, Columbia, Mo.

WARD-HANKS

Kaden Chance Ward-Hanks, was stillborn July 4, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

He was the son of Justin Hanks and Shawna Ward, Eldon.

Other survivors include: one brother, Steven Westley Hanks, of the home; two sisters, Taylor Nichole Hanks, and Kayla Marie Hanks, both of the home; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Linda and Willard Cohen, Linn Creek; maternal grandfather, James Ward, Malden; paternal grandparents, Steven and Marsha Hanks, Eldon; maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Digman, Malden; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Doty, Kaiser; and paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Ruby Hollandsworth, Linn Creek.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Freedom Cemetery, Linn Creek. The Rev. Erine Buscher will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

GEHMAN

Cynthia Kay Gehman, 6, Versailles, died July 3, 2002, at her home.

She was born April 4, 1996, in Reading, Pa., a daughter of Ronald E. and Norma J. Byler Gehman, who survive at the home.

Other survivors include: four sisters, Ronalda Gehman, Kathy Gehman, Anthea Gehman, and Rosemary Coblentz, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Earl and Helen Gehman, Bowmansville, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Roman and Susie Byler, Clayton, Del.; maternal great-grandparents, David and Anna Yoder, and Ervin and Emma Byler, all of Clayton, Del.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Versailles Mennonite Church near Versailles. James Herr, Kervin Gehman, Harlan Martin and Wilmer Eshbach will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Versailles Mennonite Church.

The family requests no flowers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
