WEIDER
Theodore Bernard Weider, 69, Centertown, died July 18, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1933, in Freeburg, a son of William R. and Helen Terwilliger Weider. He was married Nov. 13, 1955, in St. Louis, to Evelyn Bock, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated Weider Floors until his retirement. He was a past member of the Carpenters Union.
Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Weider and Timothy Weider, both of Centertown; two daughters, Debbie Nevins, Phoenix, Ariz., and Teresa Farris, Centertown; one brother, Arnold Weider, Rock Hill; three sisters, Helen Kleffner, Vienna, Rosetta Bates, Brazito, and Mary Allen, Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
Services and entombment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. The Rev. Greg Higley will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
WRIGHT
Caroline T. Wright, 92, California, died July 17, 2002, at California Care Center.
She was born Oct. 8, 1909, in Saline County, a daughter of Frank and Amanda Bracht Kiso. She was married to James Elliott, who preceded her in death. She was married to Max Wright, who died June 5, 1976.
She worked as a supervisor for pants factories until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, California. She attended McGirk School. She had lived in Sedalia.
Survivors include one sister, Bertha Linhardt, California.
One son, Wallace Frank Elliott, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Peter Kurowski will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.

RECTOR
Shirley V. Rector, 67, Jefferson City, died July 17, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 9, 1935, in Belle, a daughter of Richard A. and Ada Crider Barbarick. She was married Oct. 4, 1952, in Bland, to James L. Rector, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a stitcher in a shoe factory. A former Bland resident, she was a member of Bland Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Rector Jr., and Jay Rector, both of Jefferson City, and two grandchildren.
Two sons, Terry Lee Rector and Bill Joe Rector, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bland Christian Church, Bland. The Rev. Bruce Elmore will officiate. Burial will be in Adkins-Campbell Cemetery, Belle.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.
NEUKOMM
T.J. Neukomm, 87, Fulton, died July 17, 2002, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
He was born July 14, 1915, in Fulton, a son of Morris B. and Treva Grace Smith Neukomm. He was married Feb. 20, 1937, in Springfield, to Kathleen Kelly Foster, who survives at the home.
He was in the insurance, rental and construction business for more than 50 years with his self-owned agency in Fulton. He worked in display advertising for the Muncie Evening Press, Muncie, Ind. He was a field representative for Traveler's Insurance Company in Indianapolis and he ran the Neukomm Clothing Company in Fulton.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was the first commander of VFW in 1946. He was chapter counselor for Beta Theta Pi Fraternity at Westminster College. He was a 1937 graduate of Westminster College.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Mildred Kathleen Cory, Quincy, Ill., Elizabeth Ann Blackwell, Osage Beach, and Jane Foster McCollum, Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Fulton. The Rev. Raymond McAllister and the Rev. John H. Barden will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.
Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church, Fulton; or the Alpha Delta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity Building Fund at Westminster College, Fulton.
LINKE
Carl W. Linke, 91, Jefferson City, died July 18, 2002, at Green Meadows Health Care Center, Linn.
He was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Evansville, Ind., a son of Herman and Mary Barchett Linke. He was married Dec. 28, 1939, in Evansville, to Hazel Richmond, who died Dec. 27, 1953. He was married Nov. 23, 1955, in Evansville, to Jeannie Massinghan, who died Aug. 7, 1987.
He was a 1928 graduate of Central High School, Evansville. He worked at Servel, Inc., for 23 years in Evansville and at General Metals in Humboldt, Tenn., for 25 years until his retirement as a general foreman.
He attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Evansville, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League, Jefferson City, and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Evansville.
Survivors include one daughter, Carole Kemna, Jefferson City, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Evansville.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Helias High School Building Fund.
LOWRANCE
Richard W. Lowrance, 64, Columbia, died July 16, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 11, 1938, in Kansas City, a son of William and Elizabeth Henry Lowrance.
He graduated from Harvard University and received his master's degree from the University of Northern California at Berkley.
He worked for an aircraft parts supply company and was a personnel director for a cruise ship line.
He also worked in the United States Foreign Service.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of John Lowrance, 1759 Brookside Blvd., Jefferson City. Private family entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
MUELLER
Ewing A. Mueller, 72, Jefferson City, died July 19, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Cole County, a son of Forrest G. and Florence K. Linhardt Mueller. He was married June 14, 1955, in Hernardo, Miss., to Lucia A. Wickham, who survives at the home.
A life-long resident of the Central Missouri area, he graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was a professional engineer and a professional surveyor for more than 40 years. He worked for Bechtel Corporation, Oak Ridge, Tenn., the Missouri Conservation Department, and the Missouri Department of Transportation.
He owned and operated Mueller Surveying and Engineer Company since 1967.
He was a member of the Spring Garden Baptist Church. He was a member of the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors and a member of several area bass fishing clubs.
Survivors include: two sons, Andy Mueller, Ozark, and Mark A. Mueller, Cuba; two brothers, Forrest E. Mueller, Mexico, and Dale A. Mueller, Richmond, Texas ; two sisters, Betty J. Pilkenton, Needville, Texas , and Dolores R. Curry, Columbia; and three grandchildren.
One grandson preceded him in death.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. William Wilkerson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to Spring Garden Baptist Church.
AUSTIN
Rusty Lee Austin, 27, Rochester, Ill., died July 17, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born April 15, 1975, in Ft. Leonard Wood, a son of William L. and Dorothy Looper Sommer. His mother survives in Rochester.
He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 945, Jefferson City, and Sweetwater Christian Church, Sweetwater, Ill.
Other survivors include: one son, Jordan Craig Austin, Chatham, Ill.; one sister, Diane Austin, Springfield, Ill.; and one brother, Les Austin, Iberia.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Stan Way will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
NANOMANTUBE
Wayne A. Nanomantube, 68, Sunrise Beach, died July 18, 2002, at his home.
He was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Rulo, Neb., a son of Jacob and Violet Evelyn O'Leary Nanomantube. He was married Aug. 3, 1952, to Lois Frederick, who survives at the home.
He worked at General Motors for 30 years until his retirement as a supervisor. He served in the Navy Reserves and was a charter member of Westlake Christian Church, Laurie.
Other survivors include: two sons, Thomas Wayne Nanomantube, Folsum, Calif., and Steven Allen Nanomantube, New Bloomfield; one sister, Laura Adams, Falls City, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westlake Christian Church, Laurie. The Rev. Jim Sutherlin will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to Westlake Christian Church.
