McCOLLOM

Ramona Jill McCollom, 40, Kaiser, died July 26, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

She was born Nov. 5, 1961, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Mackie L. and Angela Joy Maples Graham. She was married April 29, 2000, in Lake Ozark, to James McCollom, who survives at the home.

She attended East School and was a graduate of  Jefferson City High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jason Allan Hilgert,  Jefferson City, and Brian Anthony McCollom, Kaiser; one daughter, Lindsey Ann McCollom, Kaiser; three brothers, Steven John Graham and Billy Joe Graham, both of  Jefferson City, and David Anthony Graham, Pacific; and one sister, Julia Ellen Allmon,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. The Rev. Janet Hoyland will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to the Brian and Lindsey McCollom Educational Fund.

BOSTROM

Glenn H. Bostrom, 87, Dassel, formerly of  Jefferson City, died July 26, 2002, at Annandale Care Center, Annandale, Minn.

He was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minn., a son of Alex and Ruth Ohqvist Bostrom. He was married Jan. 27, 1940, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, to Mildred Marie Eleanor Ness, who preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Minneapolis.

He was trained in physical therapy at the University of Minnesota and the Sister Kenny Institute. He worked for the institute upon graduation then entered realty.

In retirement, he lived in  Jefferson City from 1984-1999.

He participated in the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge, Vasa Lodge, Litchfield City Council and the Meeker County Sheriff's Posse.

Survivors include: two daughters, Ann Baumgartner, Holts Summit, and Kristina Nelson, Darwin, Minn.; two sons, Herb Bostrom, Madison, Wisc., and Chris Bostrom, Plymouth, Minn.; one brother, Herb Bostrom, Woodinville, Wash.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Dassel, Minn. The Rev. Paula Geister-Jones and the Rev. John Peterson will officiate.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

BURD

Dorothy Anne Burd, 68,  Jefferson City, died July 26, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Jan. 12, 1934, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Alphonse F. and Christine Mary Dulle Distler. She was married Oct. 3, 1953, in  Jefferson City, to Maurice Lee Burd, who survives at the home.

She was a 1951 graduate of St. Peter High School. She worked with the Missouri Division of Welfare;  Jefferson City Banking Company; 3M Business Machines; Scholastic, Inc.; and retired as an account clerk at the Missouri Division of Medical Services.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; the Immaculata Club; and was a volunteer with the Samaritan Center and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Lois A. Burd and Janet L. Stokes, both of  Jefferson City; one sister, Beth Payne,  Jefferson City; one brother, Ted Distler,  Jefferson City; and one grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

FINN

Robert Woodrow Finn, 45,  Jefferson City, died July 26, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born July 7, 1957, in  Jefferson City, the son of Clayton Leo and Ruth Roselene Roark Finn. His father survives in Fredericktown. He was married Feb. 13, 1982, at Los Angeles, Calif., to Matilde Beltran, who survives at Burbank, Calif.

He attended  Jefferson City public schools. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He had been employed as a laborer and a truck driver.

Other survivors include: one son, Robert Woodrow Finn Jr., Burbank, Calif.; two daughters, Rosalinda Finn and Melissa Sue Finn, both of Burbank, Calif.; and two sisters, Judy Ann Lopez and Flora Marie Portillo, both of  Jefferson City.

Private family services will be held. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Glendale, Calif.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.

HORSTMAN

Larry Horstman, 61, Mokane, died July 27, 2002, at the Bristol manor in Fulton.

He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Mokane, the son of Henry and Rosella Koenig Horstman.

He worked as a mechanic for Mertens Construction for many years. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Mokane.

Survivors include: two brothers, Glenn Horstman and Charles Horstman, both of Mokane; and one sister, Evelyn Mertens, Columbia.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Father Louis Guardiola officiating. Burial will follow at the Mokane Cemetery. A rosary service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

HOVEY-SHIVERDECKER

Rebecca Lou Hovey-Shiverdecker, 43, Walnut Shade, formerly of Auxvasse, died July 26, 2002, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.

She was born June 26, 1959, in Fulton, the daughter of Jack and Pat Rudd Hovey. Her mother survives.

She was a secretary for A.G. Edwards Investments, Hollister. She was a member of Heart of God Faith Church.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Jacqueline Jean Shiverdecker and Susan Renee Shiverdecker, both of Walnut Shade; and a brother, Billy Hovey, Auxvasse.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Hatton. The Rev. Mike Eighmy will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.

Memorials are suggested to her daughters.

MINNER

Billie June Minner, 75, Laurie, died July 25, 2002, at the Laurie Care Center.

She was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Pascola, the daughter of James and Ruby Valentine Godwin. She was married Nov. 27, 1964, to Richard L. Minner, who died on Nov. 3, 2000.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: a son, Kenneth M. Boswell, Salinas, Calif.; a brother, James Valentine, St. Charles; and one granddaughters.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.

NORTH

Branch Everett North, 18, died July 25, 2002, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Camden County.

He was born Feb. 14, 1984, in  Jefferson City, the son of Herb and Glenda Webb North, who survive of the home.

He was raised in the Camdenton area and had completed his junior year at Camdenton High School. He worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts, Camdenton.

Other survivors include: two sisters, Jessica North, Camdenton, and Shari North, of the home; maternal grandmother, Clora Mae Webb, Eldridge; and paternal grandmother, Inez Proctor, Camdenton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Webb, and his paternal grandfather, Jack North.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Decaturville Missionary Baptist church. The Rev. Phil Burns and the Rev. J.R. McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to a fund in care of the funeral home.

WEBSTER

Clarence "Bug" Webster, Sr., 82, Camdenton, died July 25, 2002, in his home.

He was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Camden County, the son of the Rev. William Patrick and Lou Rogers Webster. He was married Oct. 2, 1936, to Lola M. Wilson, who survives of the home.

He was a self-employed subcontractor, specializing in concrete floor finishing, and he owned Webster Turkey Farm.

Other survivors include: three sons, Lester Webster, Clarence Webster Jr., and Claudie Webster, all of Camdenton; six daughters, Thelma Moore, Lebanon, Virginia Webster, Betty Dugan and Connie Gregoric, all of Camdenton, and Carol Vanderweide and Bonnie Myers, both of Eldridge; two brothers, Dain Webster and Lee "Pete" Webster, both of the state of Michigan; two sisters, Rosie McGuire, Lebanon and Fern Burns, Eldridge; 42 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Denny and the Rev. Richard Willis will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to a fund in care of the funeral home.
