KEETH
Orphia Spradling Keeth, 98, Iberia, died Aug. 6, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born June 12, 1904, in Panama, Okla., a daughter of James and Martha Spradling. She was married March 17, 1923, in Poteau, Okla., to Leonard Wilkins Keeth, who died June 20, 1979.
She taught school in Oklahoma, the state of California, Iberia and Dixon.
She lived in the Iberia area for 57 years.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, various teacher organizations and Iberia First Baptist Church.
She was a past member of the Iberia Saddle Club.
Survivors include one grandson, Jerry Baird, Oklahoma City, one granddaughter, Paula LoBianco, Garden Valley, Idaho, and two great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Marjorie Baird, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Iberia Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Golden will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
Memorials are suggested to Iberia First Baptist Church.
PRICE
Services were Thursday for Thompson Price III, 87, Linn, who died July 30, 2002, at Green Meadow Skilled Care Center.
He was born Nov. 3, 1914, in Kansas City, a son of Thompson, Jr., and Isolde Merkel Price. He was married in 1942, to Mary Ewbank, who survives.
He attended Central College, now Central Methodist College, in Fayette, where he studied chemical engineering. He lived for a short time in Brentwood before moving to Kirkwood. He worked in the family company, Price Varnish, in Valley Park, as a chemical engineer and became president of the company. He and his wife owned the Yarn Shop in Kirkwood and operated another location in south St. Louis before closing both stores in the 1960's. He worked as a salesman for Kirkwood Campers for several years. After retiring, he worked as a bagger at Schnucks in Chesterfield. He was a member of Kirkwood Lions Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: one son, Thompson C. Price, Sunset Hills; three daughters, Pamela Price, Kansas City, Judy Price, Chesterfield, and Mary Schaefferkoetter, Linn; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood.

SCHWERDTFEGER
Bonnie L. Schwerdtfeger, 70, Jefferson City, died Aug. 5, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 16, 1931, in Unionville, a daughter of Lee and Delphia Barnhart Ryals. Her mother, Delphia Morgan, survives at the home. She was married Nov. 4, 1950, in Unionville, to James W. Schwerdtfeger, who survives at the home.
She was a 1949 graduate of Unionville High School and attended Christian College, Columbia.
A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1950, she was a homemaker and an interior designer. She was a member of First United Methodist Church; the PEO, Chapter JV; and the Jefferson City Humane Society.
Other survivors include: one son, Andrew Schwerdtfeger, Fayetteville, Ark.; three daughters, Cindy Anderson, Columbia, Jill McDonald, Jefferson City, and Sara Hartford, Pierre, S.D.; and seven grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerrol Boehmer and the Rev. E. Gene Rooney will officiate. Private graveside services will be in the mausoleum of Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will follow the services Thursday in the church parlor.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church or the Callaway Hills Animal Shelter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
VANCE
Alec G. Vance, 44, Jefferson City, died July 31, 2002, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
He was born May 15, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas , a son of Gerald S. and Erna B. Vance. His mother survives in Dixon.
He worked at Scholastic Book Company.
Other survivors include one son, Troy E. Vance, Jefferson City; one brother, Eric I. Vance, Dixon; and one sister, Marlene Blackburn, Dixon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Harold Withers will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
ROBERTSON
Ernie Raymond Robertson, 75, Belle, died Aug. 5, 2002, in Jefferson City.
He was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Osage County, a son of George W. and Georgia Nannie Shanks Robertson. He was married Dec. 22, 1946, to Erline Young, who survives at the home.
He was a member of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Belle. He worked as a farmer in the Duroc hog business for 30 years. He was president of the Osage County Pork Producers for three years.
Other survivors include: one son, Ed Robertson, Owasso, Okla.; one daughter, Mary Ann Robertson, Jefferson City; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Belle. Burial will be in Pilot Knob Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Sassmann's Chapel, Belle.
DUNCAN
Jesse Paul Duncan, 17, Macks Creek, died Aug. 5, 2002, in Macks Creek.
He was born Feb. 7, 1985, in Osage Beach, a son of Edwin and Aneta J. Campbell Duncan. His father survives in Macks Creek.
He also is survived by one grandmother, Hilda Campbell, Macks Creek.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Little Niangua Cemetery in Hickory County.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.
HENSLEY
Lola Neoma Hensley, 88, fomerly of Chamois, died Aug. 9, 2002, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 19, 1914, in Aud, a daughter of Hugh E. and Ida Vonderbruegge Wolfe. She was married Nov. 29, 1942, in Chamois, to Howard Hensley, who died May 15, 1998.
She was a 1932 graduate of Chamois High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Chamois United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lana Bouchillon, O'Fallon, and Linda Schwent, Creve Coeur; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Chamois United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bruce Baxter and Rev. Deborah Pope will officiate. Burial will be in Chamois City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home, O'Fallon. Visitation will also be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Chamois United Methodist Church.
Memorials are suggested to Chamois United Methodist Church or the Alzheimers Association of Mid-Missouri Chapter.
JONES
James C. Jones, 63, Holts Summit, died Aug. 8, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
Arrangements are at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Holts Summit.
LOVE
Ella Juanita Love, 59, Jefferson City, died Aug. 8, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Eudora, Ark., a daughter of Hershel and Ethel Mae Streetman Davison. She was married May 31, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas , to Gary Willis Love, who survives at the home.
She graduated from Eudora High School. She was a homemaker and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include: two sons, Johnny R. Campos, San Antonio, and Leo A. Love, Evening Shade; one daughter, Tammy I. Will, Columbia; two sisters, Lois Trawick, San Antonio, and Helen Rivard, Shreveport, La.; and five grandchildren.
Private family services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
BARRETT
Raymond Barrett, 81, Cypress, Texas , formerly of Gravois Mills, died Aug. 9, 2002, at Tomball Regional Hospital, Tomball, Texas .
He was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Archie, a son of Ernest and Irene Barnard Barrett. He was married June 14, 1941, to Dorothy Mae Tatman, who died June 7, 1999.
He was a retired truck driver for Safeway Stores in Kansas City, where he worked for 30 years. a Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Baptist Church, the Gravois Mills Lions Club and the V.F.W. Post 5902 in Gravois Mills.
Survivors include one son: Gary Barrett, Cypress; one brother Earl Wayne Barrett, Gravois Mills; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. Dick Sanders will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
