KEMNA
Elizabeth M. Kemna, 104, St. Elizabeth, died Aug. 15, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Care Center in St. Elizabeth.
She was born March 7, 1898, in Meta, a daughter of John and Anna (Bax) Hasenbein. She was married April 23, 1923 in Meta to August Kemna, who died Nov. 20, 1978.
She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of St. Elizabeth and St. Lawrence Church in St. Elizabeth. She was a past member of St. Ann Sodality.
Survivors include one son, Urban Kemna, St. Elizabeth; one daughter, Ruth May, Akron, Ohio; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lawrence Church in St. Elizabeth. Rev. M. Christopher Smith will preside. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at St. Lawrence Church in St. Elizabeth, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in St. Elizabeth.
LEONARD
Herman A. "Pat" Leonard, 90, Centertown, died Aug. 13, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 20, 1911, near Centertown, a son of John and Julia Ann Bruto Leonard.
He was a lifelong farmer and auto mechanic at Leonard's Garage in California, a night watchman at California Manufacturing and also at the Missouri National Guard until retiring. Leonard was also a member of the annunciation Catholic Church and graduated from Sweetwater School near Centertown.
Survivors include one son, Patrick Leonard of Centertown; one daughter, Mary Lou Porter and husband, Phillip of Centertown; one sister, Josephine Wingate of California; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at Annunciation Catholic Church. Father Greg Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, with a prayer service will be a 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Annunciation Catholic Church-Building Fund, 414 Patrick St., Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California.
ARNOLD
Clarence "Matt" Arnold, 73, Sunrise Beach, died Aug. 15, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1929, in Denoya, Okla., a son of Clarence F. and Wilena Grace Pruitt Arnold. His mother survives in Moran, Kan. He was married to Laura Jean Arnold, who preceded him in death. He was married to Georgia Lee Arnold, who survives at the home.
He was a retired engineer for the Bendix Corporation and a volunteer with the Senior Citizens Center, Laurie. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: two sons, Philip M. Arnold and Paul R. Arnold; and one sister, Norma Stahl.
The remains were cremated.

DECKER
Marie Decker, 80, Versailles, died Aug. 16, 2002, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Licking, a daughter of Mitchell E. and Cassie Curtis Ogle. She was married June 17, 1939, in Chillicothe, to Harold Decker, who died July 13, 1999.
She worked with Frigid Food Locker, the Farm and Home Center, Wal-Mart and retired from the Division of Family Services, all in Versailles. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Versailles.
Survivors include: one son, Steven R. Decker, Versailles; one daughter, Cindy L. Blakley, Versailles; one brother, Bill Ogle, Avilla; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Versailles. The Rev. Bill Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery, south of Versailles.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. today at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church.
FAJEN
Maurine V. Fajen, 93, Stover, died Aug. 17, 2002, at Golden Age Living Center, Stover.
She was born July 6, 1909, in Stover, a daughter Henry K. and Georgia Meyer Welpman. She was married Dec. 2, 1928, in Stover, to Albert J. Fajen, who died April 21, 1990.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Missouri Goldfish Hatchery, near Stover. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Stover, where she was a charter member of St. Paul's Jr. Aide and active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a member of Stover Homemaker's Club and the Stover Ladies Sewing Circle.
Survivors include: one son, Michael Fajen, Savannah, Ga.; one daughter, Greta Case, Stover; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Stover. The Rev. Cecil Murdock will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Stover.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Lutheran School.
HATCHER
Theresa F. Hatcher, 73, Jefferson City, died Aug. 16, 2002, at her home.
She was born March 11, 1929, in Pittsburg, Kan., a daughter of Daniel J. and Margaret M. Carlson O'Donnell. She was married Nov. 19, 1953, in Clarksdale, Miss., to E. Price Hatcher Jr., who survives at the home.
A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1955, she graduated from St. Marys Catholic High School, Pittsburg, Kan. She worked for the Missouri Department of Agriculture for 25 years until retiring in 1991.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish; the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Roy Sone Post 1003; and the St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary.
Other survivors include: two sons, E. Price Hatcher III, Arvada, Colo., and James M. Hatcher, Jefferson City; two daughters, Susan K. Hatcher, Ballwin, and Mollie D. LeBlanc, Jefferson City; one sister, Mary Catherine O'Donnell, Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Patrick J. O'Donnell, Lee's Summit; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Cathedral. The Rev. Joseph Corel will officiate. Entombment will be in Mausoleum of Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Monday at Freeman Mortuary with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Freeman Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross or the Helias Foundation.
RICH
Margaret D. Rich, 90, Jefferson City, died Aug. 17, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 26, 1911, in Newark, a daughter of Michael J. and Dale Preston McEntire. She was married Nov. 25, 1939, in Jefferson City, to John Hadley Rich, who died Jan. 13, 1997.
She was a 1929 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She worked as a secretary at the Social Security Administration Office in Jefferson City, and for the Jefferson City Board of Education until retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Susan D. McClain, Jefferson City, and Peggy A. Bridges, Lake Ozark; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church. Dr. Larry Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.

WILSON
Antoinette Wilson, 82, Auxvasse, died Aug. 16, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born Feb. 8, 1920, in Sedalia, a daughter of Joseph and Leona Werner Hausmann. She was married Nov. 4, 1944, to George Wilson Sr., who preceded her in death.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church, Auxvasse, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was involved in missionary work. She was a member of the Harrison Club and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include: four sons, George Wilson Jr. and Donald Wilson, both of Columbia, Richard Wilson, Auxvasse, and Jody Wilson, Mexico; three daughters, Marion Wilson and Betty Cassidy, both of Jefferson City, and Agnes Kennon, Auxvasse; two sisters, Gertrude Kremer, Bonnets Mill, and Leona "Sis" DeMariano, Chamois; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grand Prairie Baptist Church, Auxvasse. The Rev. Floyd Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Prairie Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.

ZBYLUT
Anthony "Tony" A. Zbylut, 93, Fulton, died Aug. 8, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 28, 1909, in Detroit, a son of Albert and Anna Karczewska Zbylut. He was married April 18, 1949, in Bamberg, Germany, to Mirjam Mueller, who died March 18, 1999.
He served in the Army from 1944 to 1961 and was a World War II and Korean War veteran. He worked at William Woods University as a night security officer.
Survivors include one son, Mark A. Zbylut, Addison, Ill.
Services will be at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peters Catholic Church, Fulton. Fr. Louis Guardiola will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 4:30-9 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, with a rosary at 6 p.m.
