McDONALD

Loren "Mac" McDonald, 78, San Antonio, Texas , formerly of Ulman, died Sept. 19, 2002, at his home.

He was born April 23, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of William D. and Ruby F. Helton McDonald. He was married Nov. 1, 1945, in Springfield, to Loretta Berschneider, who died in 1983.

He was a graduate of Tuscumbia High School. He was a World War II veteran and received the Purple Heart. He worked as a manager at transmission shops in Kansas City and San Antonio.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kathy Montgomery, San Antonio, and Debbie Garis, Bulverde, Texas ; one brother, Carl McDonald,  Jefferson City; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius Catholic Church, San Antonio. Burial will be in Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Visitation will be form 5-9 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home.

WHITTLE

Gail Harding Whittle, 82, Brumley, died Sept. 22, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

He was born May 26, 1920, in Iberia, a son of Olia R. and Fannie Jane Luttrell Whittle. He was married May 24, 1946, in Sedalia, to Shirley Anderson, who survives at the home.

He was a cattle farmer in the Bentown area for many years. He served 28 years as Miller County assessor and six years as Miller County collector. He was a member of Iberia First Christian Church, where he served as elder. He served on the Miller County School board, the State Reorganizational Consolidation board, the Barton and Iberia school board, the Richwood Villa board, and the Iberia Rural Fire Protection District board. He was a member of the Miller County Soil and Water District and a charter member of the Iberia Lions Club. He was a member of Iberia VFW Post 6167 and American Legion Post 105. He was a member of Iberia Masonic Lodge 410 AF and AM, where he served as master mason and the Abou Ben Adhem Temple in Springfield. He was a member of the Miller County Republican committee and was a state delegate to the National Republican Convention. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Other survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Whittle, Lineville, Iowa and Mark Whittle, Brumley; two daughters, Gayla Hickey, Poplar Bluff and Janis Williams, Iberia; four brothers, Verner Whittle and Gene Whittle, both of Iberia, Granville Whittle, Wapato, Wash., and Jim Whittle, Clarkston; two sisters, Lois Brown, Marshalltown, Iowa, and Nina Jacobs,  Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Iberia First Christian Church. The Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m., and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to a scholarship fund in care of Iberia High School, the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.

LANGENDOERFER

Ruth L. Langendoerfer, 94, Chamois, died Sept. 22, 2002, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born March 29, 1908, in St. Aubert, a daughter of Wiley J. and Carrie Hollstine Langendoerfer.

She was a lifelong resident of Osage County. She worked as a grocery clerk manager at Chamois Farmers Exchange for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church in Linn. She was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Golden Chapter 173 in Chamois.

Survivors include nephews and nieces.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Tony Townley will officiate. Burial will be in South Cemetery in St. Aubert.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to South Cemetery in St. Aubert.

CUNNINGHAM

Charles "Chuck" Cunningham, 71, Camdenton, died Sept. 21, 2002, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1931, in Decatur, Ga., a son of Miles and Sarah Clark Cunningham. He was married April 18, 1964, in Kansas City, to Earlene "Joyce" Earls, who survives at the home.

He was president and CEO of Builders Block Company in Kansas City. He was a member of Parkville Presbyterian Church, where he served as deacon. He was a member in the National Concrete Masonry Association for many years and served on the board from 1989-1993. He moved to the Lake area in 1995. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Other survivors include: two sons, John Charles Cunningham, Kansas City, and Michael Conrad Cunningham, Lee's Summit: one sister, Dorothy Douglas, Gainesville, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hedges Funeral Home in Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.

GROSVENOR

Henry Harold Grosvenor, 78, St. Robert, died Sept. 20, 2002, at his home.

He was born Jan. 11, 1924, in St. Elizabeth, a son of Henry and Linnet Bilyeu Grosvenor. He was married to Ildean Grosvenor, who survives at the home.

He was a retired civil service employee and an Army veteran of World War II.

Other survivors include: three sons, Doug Grosvenor, Laquey, Donald Grosvenor, Crocker, and Terry Grosvenor, Waynesville; one daughter, Susan Grosvenor, Waynesville; two sisters, Freda Burnham and Evelyn Burns, both of  Jefferson City; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Hills Baptist Church, St. Robert. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery, Waynesville.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Christian Health Care Hospice. 514 W. Fremont, Lebanon, MO 65536.

CLARK

Kerry Don Clark, 39, Iberia, died Sept. 21, 2002, at Lake Regional Health System.

He was born Feb. 12, 1963, in Iberia, a son of Clifford "Otis" and Kay Francis Law Clark, who survive in Iberia.

He was a member of Iberia Church of Christ. He worked as a trucker for 13 years.

Other survivors include: two sons, KCey Wayne Clark and Kevin Douglas Clark, both of Iberia; one brother, Tracy Lynn Clark, Excelsior Springs; and his fiancee, Jane Vaughan, Iberia.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. Bro. Jack Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Alder Springs Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Kerry Clark Educational Fund.

KLINDT

Margarette H. Klindt, 85,  Jefferson City, died Sept. 22, 2002, at her home.

She was born July 25, 1917, in Eugene, a daughter of Albert and Henrietta Popp Hager. She was married March 3, 1949, in Harrison, Ark., to Milburn R. Klindt, who survives at the home.

She attended Honey Creek Parochial School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek and the Ladies Quilting Circle.

Survivors include: one son, Rich Klindt, Cabot, Ark.; two daughters, Linda S. McMillin,  Jefferson City, and Carol Marie Klindt, Marshall; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Dorothy Dragosh, died Nov. 3, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek. The Rev. Gerald Scheperle will officiate. Burial will be in  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 1:30-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the Bureau for the Blind Macular Degeneration Research Program.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.

REINKEMEYER

Theresa B. Reinkemeyer, 99, Westphalia, died Sept. 23, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born July 27, 1903, in Maries County, a daughter of Frank and Mary Weber Herzing. She was married Aug. 3, 1927, in Clayton, to Matthew H. Reinkemeyer, who died June 5, 1991.

She had been a housekeeper in St. Louis and had provided child care in Osage County. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include: one son, Floyd F. Reinkemeyer, Westphalia; two daughters, Marie A. Reinkemeyer,  Jefferson City, and Margaret A. Phillips, Garden Grove, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

One son, Lloyd C. Reinkemeyer, and one grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic School, P.O. Box 205, Westphalia, Mo. 65085; or to a charity of the donor's choice.

CLARKE

Jennifer Lynn Clarke, 25, Eldon, died Sept. 21, 2002.

She was born Aug. 9, 1977, in Pauls Valley, Okla., a daughter of Bill and Rebecca Gernhart Mackavage. Her parents survive in Lake Ozark.

She attended Blue Springs Baptist Church, near Eldon. She was a member of the Freedom of the Road Riders and the Eldon Thursday Nite Bowling League.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Alexis Storm Clarke and Morgan Faye Lynn Landon, both of Eldon; one brother, Jackie Miller, Eldon; one sister, Amber Miller, Chickasha, Okla., and her fiancˇ, Russell Landon, Eldon.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blue Springs Baptist Church, near Eldon. The Rev. John Shifflet will officiate. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to a trust fund for her children.
