GLADDEN
Burle Lee Gladden, 81, Iberia, died Oct. 7, 2002, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
He was born Oct. 12, 1920, in Colorado Springs, Colo., a son of Walter Hart. He was married June 14, 1946, in Bald Knob, Ark., to Kathryn Keeble, who died July 29, 1996.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a farmer. He owned and operated a bulldozing company, constructing many ponds and lakes in the area.
He was a member of Iberia Masonic Lodge 410 AF and AM, the Iberia Order of the Eastern Star, the Shriners and Scottish Rights. He was a member of Iberia VFW Post 6167 and Iberia Congregational Christian Church. He was a retired member of the Union of Operating Engineers Locals 302 and 612. He lived in Iberia for 50 years.
Survivors include: four sons, John Gladden, Jerry Wayne Gladden, Stephen Gladden and Robert Gladden, all of Iberia; two daughters, Wanda Sanderson, Springfield, and Mary Kay Sutton, Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Helen Ferguson, Fortuna, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Dialysis Clinic of Osage Beach.
WAGNER
Matthew T.L. Wagner, 18, Jefferson City, died Oct. 7, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1984, in Columbia, a son of Mark L. Wagner and Debora A. Roberts. His father survives in Jefferson City. His mother, Debora Wagner Ivester, survives in Pacific.
A senior at Jefferson City High School, he worked for Roedel's Cleaning Service and Supply. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Steven M. Wagner and Jason R. Wagner, both of Jefferson City; paternal grandmother, Faye Hagner, Jefferson City; and maternal grandparents Tom and Pat Roberts, Florissant.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Brian Credille will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
CLAIBOURN
Daniel S. Claibourn, 44, Gravois Mills, died Oct. 7, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Jan. 30, 1958, in Kansas City, a son of Orvel J. and Edith Laura Thompson Claibourn. His mother survives in Gravois Mills.
He worked as a grower at Flowerland in Laurie. He was a member of the Gravois Mills Fire Protection District and the Moose Lodge.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Angela Claibourn, of the home, Jennifer Claibourn, Gravois Mills, and Laura Stewart, Sunrise Beach; one sister, Beverly Claibourn, Kansas City; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. Darryl Ridgely will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Memorial Estates, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Firefighters Memorial.
GIBBS
Carol Jane Gibbs, 55, Overbrook, Kan., formerly of Hatton, died Oct. 6, 2002, at Brookside Manor, Overbrook.
She was born July 29, 1947, in Columbia, a daughter of Stanley E. and Dorothy Allen Gibbs. Her mother survives.
She was was a hairdresser and worked in a doctor's office.
Other survivors include: two sons, Christopher Allen Shelton, Holts Summit, and Robert Ray Shelton, Springfield; two brothers, Richard Allen Gibbs, Topeka, Kan., and James Edward Gibbs, Auburn, Kan.; one sister, Anita Elsham, Overland Park, Kan.; and three granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Hatton.
Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
BORGMEYER
Caroline Adelaide Borgmeyer, 93, Taos, died Oct. 9, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born July 10, 1909, in Marys Home, a daughter of John A. and Elizabeth Backers Sanning. She was married Feb. 12, 1929, in Taos, to Frank William Borgmeyer, who died Feb. 3, 1948.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Ann's Sodality and was Meals-on-Wheels coordinator for the Liberty Senior Center in Taos for 20 years.
Survivors include: three sons, Bernard H. Borgmeyer, Eldon, Charles W. Borgmeyer, Taos, and Thomas S. Borgmeyer, Jefferson City; six daughters, Teresa E. DeLorey, St. Louis, Mary L. Stuckenschneider, Sun City, Ariz., Elizabeth J. Cassmeyer, Lake Ozark, and Frances H. Glover, Ann A. Kolb and Jane Borgmeyer Hall, all of Jefferson City; one sister, Helen Ortmeyer, Taos; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. J. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Friday at the church.

FARIS
Irma Pate Faris, 93, Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Jefferson City, died Oct. 10, 2002, in Tallahassee.
She was born Aug. 27, 1909, in Rome, Ky., a daughter of Walter and Martha Madden Pate. She was married to James W. Faris, who preceded her in death.
She retired as a secretary for the Missouri Public Service Commission.
Survivors include: one son, James Faris, Tallahassee; two sisters, Virginia Richardson, Branson, and Emma Tosh, Batesville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Tallahassee. Inurnment will be in Jefferson City National Cemetery at a later date.

HARDESTER
Evelyn Blanche Wilson Hardester, 85, Dixon, died Oct. 8, 2002, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.
She was born Nov. 24, 1916, in St. Louis, a daughter of Josh and Louina Hill Wilson.
Survivors include: four sons, George Hardester, Devils Elbow, Woody Hardester, Jefferson City, Harold Hardester, Clearwater, Fla., and Bob Hardester, Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Jessie Fierce, state of Florida, Virginia Agnew, Dixon, and Lucille Gruner, Bonne Terre; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Waynesville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be Monday in Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday.

HARRISON
James F. "Jim" Harrison, 63, Pine Bluff, Ark., died Oct. 7, 2002, at St. Vincent's Infirmary, Little Rock, Ark.
He was born July 19, 1939, in Miller County, a son of Burnis and Daisy Florence Sites Harrison. His mother survives in Crocker. He was married May 12, 1962, in Hawkeye, to Ann Colene Tedrick, who survives at the home.
A former Kansas City, Kan., resident, he was a Navy veteran. He worked in the chemical department of Proctor and Gamble for 37 years.
Other survivors include: one son, Stanley B. Harrison, Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Stephanie Moon, Pine Bluff, Ark.; two brothers, Roger Harrison, Crocker and Steve Harrison, Waynesville; three sisters, June Hensley, state of Texas , Brenda Finch, Springfield and Mary Jarboe, state of Florida; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Long Funeral Home, Crocker. The Rev. Howard Loetscher will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and from 1-2 p.m. Friday.
