OTTO
Jerome J. Otto, 60, Green Lane, Pa., died Oct. 19, 2002, at his home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Dixon, a son of Clemens J. and Anna L. Otto Otto He was married June 27, 1970, in Philadelphia, to Sabina R. "Sally" Roder, who survives in Green Lane.
He worked as an appellate judge for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare.
Other survivors include: one son, Joshua C. Otto, Phildelphia; one daughter, Jessica R. Otto, North Hollywood, Calif.; three brothers, John C. Otto and Joseph C. Otto, both of Jefferson City, and Gerard J. "Gary" Otto, St. Elizabeth; four sisters, Mary Ann Kempf, Boonville, Barbara A. Martin and Ann M. Dake, both of Jefferson City, and Margaret "Peggy" Stoving, Florissant.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Williams-Gergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Franconia, Pa. Burial will be private.

RENTSCHLER
Howard Rentschler, 97, Fulton, died Oct. 20, 2002, at Callaway Community Hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1905, in Callaway County, a son of Fredrick and Minnie Bonard Rentschler. He was married Sept. 13, 1932, to Minnie Hoffman, who died Oct. 13, 1987.
He was a self-employed carpenter and farmer.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church and served on the cemetery committee for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Forsee, Fulton.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Bill Nigus will officiate. Burial will be in Central Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Association or American Heart Association.
WITTE
Joyce Ann Witte, 56, Florence, died Oct. 20, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 11, 1946, in Sedalia, a daughter of Otto L. and Minnie Louise Kroeschen Richardson. Her mother survives in Florence. She was married Nov. 17, 1972, in Stover, to Martin L.H. Witte, who survives at the home.
She attended Stover High School.
A lifelong resident of the Florence area, she was a homemaker and member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Florence.
Other survivors include: two sisters, Ida Mae Staus, Sedalia, and Betty L. Martin, Knob Noster.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. The Rev. Steve Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's UCC Cemetery, Florence.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Joyce Ann Witte Memorial Fund.
WILLIAMS
Betty F. Williams, 81, Osage Beach, died Oct. 20, 2002, at Lake Ozark Retirement Center.
She was born May 4, 1921, in St. Louis, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Comfort.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis. The Rev. John Dautenahn will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Hope Lutheran Church, Osage Beach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
VAN SCIVER
Joan C. Van Sciver, 72, Eldon, died Oct. 21, 2002, in Osage Beach.
She was born June 24, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of Thomas and Cora Nieman Peck. She was married Aug. 27, 1949, in Closter, N.J., to Walter N. Van Sciver, who died May 25, 1978.
She moved from Quakertown, Pa., to Eldon in 1972. She was an auditor for several businesses in the Lake area.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry Van Sciver, Rainer, Ore., Brian Van Sciver, Eldon, and Darin Van Sciver, Huntsville, Texas ; one daughter, Cindy Barnes, Eldon; one sister, Eileen Short, Closter, N.J.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One son, Walter "Sandy" Van Sciver Jr., preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. James J. O'Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
HARRIS
Mazie Marion Harris, 92, Tuscumbia, died Oct. 21, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1910, in Terre Haute, Ind., a daughter of Roy and Tilly Lewis Zettler. She was married Dec. 19, 1926, in St. Louis, to Albert A. Harris, who died in 1959.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Ozzie Harris, Barry, Ill., Donald Harris, Tuscumbia, and Arthur Harris, Iberia; three daughters, Aileen Autrey, Curryville, Mazie Vogel, Canton, and Lorraine Johnson, Albuquerque, N.M.; 39 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Four sons, Albert Harris, George Harris, Henry Harris and Richard Harris and two daughters, Audrey Webster and Virginia Heusted, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. The Rev. James O' Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday.

WITT
The Rev. Marvin Dale Witt, 56, Tuscumbia, died Oct. 22, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born July 16, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of Clifford and Essie Luttrell Witt. He was married Sept. 5, 1967, in Kansas City, Kan., to Judy Johns, who survives at the home.
A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was founder of Bible Way Church of Ulman and Eldon. He had been a minister for 20 years and currently was minister of Bible Way Church of Ulman. He served on the board of Bible Way Home Missions.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Cheryl Branstetter, Eldon, and Jeanie Schillers, Russellville; five sisters, Icle Hamilton, Hot Springs, Ark., Dorothy Fish, Bonnie McDonnell and Lou Starnes, all of Iberia, and Linda Phillips, Brumley; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bible Way Church of Eldon. The Rev. Leslie Buckner will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
MILLIGAN
Ray Milligan, 77, California, died Oct. 22, 2002, at California Care Center.
