CHAUVIN

William Louis Chauvin, 61,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 31, 2002, in  Jefferson City.

He was born April 16, 1941, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Frederick and Johnnie E. McCoy Chauvin.

He was the owner and operator of C&C Construction for 25 years.

Survivors include: two sons, James Chauvin, Bloomington, Minn., Christopher Chauvin,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Lisa Prestegard, Naples, Fla.; one brother, Joseph Chauvin,  Jefferson City; and two grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the William Louis Chauvin Family, c/o Lisa Pretegard, 791 16th Ave. S.W., Naples, Fla. 34117.

JUNGMEYER

Nelda P. Jungmeyer, 81, Lohman, died Nov. 1 2002, at Beverly Health Care,  Jefferson City.

She was born April 9, 1921, in Lohman, a daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Strobel Jungmeyer.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lohman.

Survivors include one sister, Viola Rockelman, Russellville.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville. The Rev. Carl Gauck will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Lohman.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral on Monday.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Church, Lohman.

GIDEON

Services were today for Junior Gideon, 77, Camdenton, who died Nov. 1, 2002, at Lake Regional Health Systems.

He was born June 27, 1925, in Joplin, a son of L. L. and Muriel Marlin Gideon.

He made his home in the Camdenton area for most of his life. He attended Camdenton Church of Christ.

Services were at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Randy Gray officiated. Burial was in Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

LUTTRELL

Enoch Luttrell, 79, Spring Hill, Kan., died Nov. 3, 2002, at Beverly Health Care, Spring Hill.

He was born Dec. 6, 1922, in Ulman, a son of Willard and Alzena Gumm Luttrell. He was married Jan. 20, 1945, in Muncie, Kan., to Vera Nadine McDowell, who died Sept. 30, 1991.

He worked for Fairbanks-Morris/Colt Industries in Muncie until his retirement. He was a member of Honey Springs Baptist Church near Brumley and a former member of the Brumley Lions Club.

Survivors include: three sons, Harold Luttrell and Darrell Luttrell, both of Olathe, Kan., Ronnie Luttrell, Spring Hill, Kan.; one brother, Wilburt Luttrell, Basehor, Kan.; one sister, Doll McDowell, Osage Beach; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Mary Choate, and one son, Lonnie Luttrell, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1:30 Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Dennis Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

NILGES

Catherine Conradine Nilges, 74,  Jefferson City, died Nov. 4, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born March 25, 1928, in Loose Creek, a daughter of Stephen and Christine Boessen Niekamp. She was married Aug. 20, 1947, in Loose Creek, to Adolph Lawrence Nilges, who survives at the home.

She attended school in Loose Creek and was a homemaker. She helped her husband install chain link fences for Sears and Wards. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.

Other survivors include: one son, Larry Stephen Nilges, St. Martins; two daughters, Rita Mae Hake,  Jefferson City, and Linda Kay Prenger, Taos; two sisters, Anna Orscheln and Generose Kramel, both of  Jefferson City; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cathedral. Fr. James Smith will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church Building Fund.

OWENS

Mary S. Owens, 85,  Jefferson City, died Nov. 3, 2002, at Villa Marie Nursing Center.

She was born July 21, 1917, in Linn, a daughter of Joe and Sybilla Berhorst Niekamp. She was married Nov. 26, 1936, in  Jefferson City, to Eddy Owens, who died June 22, 1992.

She was a life-long resident of the Central Missouri area and graduated from St. Georges School, Linn. She was a homemaker and worked for Oberman Manufacturing Company, International Shoe Factory and T.G. & Y. Store. She was a member of St. Peters Church.

Survivors include: four sons, William "Bill" Owens, Jerry L. Owens, James Bruce Owens, all of  Jefferson City, and Steve Owens, Blue Springs; one daughter, Patricia M. Enloe, Holts Summit; two brothers, Charles Niekamp and Willie Niekamp, both of  Jefferson City; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. James M. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to Vogelweid Learning Center.

ROHRBACH

Bobby L. Rohrbach, 70, California, died Nov. 3, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Dec. 21, 1931, in California, a son of Warner O. and Lula Kobel Rohrbach. He was married Dec. 21, 1952, in Clarksburg, to Jean Donley, who survives at the home.

He was a 1949 graduate of Clarksburg High School and attended Veterans Ag School. He was a farmer and a rural mail carrier for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of California United Church of Christ, where he had served on the consistory, was a former Sunday school superintendent, youth fellowship leader, served on the Habitat for Humanity committee and the search committee for the associate pastor. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Other survivors include: one son, Mitch Rohrbach,  Jefferson City; two daughters, Cathy DeLisa, Phoenix, Ariz., and Beth Rohrbach-Sandlin, Redondo Beach, Calif.; one sister, Luella Henry, Calif.; two grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at California United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Schulte and the Rev. Colette Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to California United Church of Christ Building Fund, 101 N. Oak St., California, MO or a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

SARCHETTE

Charles Kevin Sarchette, Sr., 51, Belle, died Nov. 2, 2002.

He was born Jan. 5, 1951, in Bland, a son of Bert and Mette Skouby Sarchette, who survive in Belle.

He graduated from Bland High School in 1968. He lived in Montana for 23 years. In 1999 he returned to the Belle area, where he worked as a carpenter and drove the mail truck for the towns of Loose Creek, Bonnots Mill, Linn, Belle-Bland and Owensville.

Other survivors include: one son, Charles Kevin Sarchette, Jr., Belle; three daughters, Celena Barton, Garrett, Ind., Shanda Thomas, San Diego, Calif., and Charla Sarchette, Belle; two brothers, Doug Sarchette, Belle, and Bert T. "Tom" Sarchette, III, Bland; one sister, Vicki Casteel, Belle; two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sassmann's Funeral Home, Belle. Burial will be in High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today.
