REHMA
Wilber Carl Rehma, 74, Fulton, died Nov. 23, 2002, at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab Center in Fulton.
He was born April 29, 1928, in Portland, the son of Alfred William and Mary Gladys (Heuer) Rehma. He was married Nov. 22, 1962, to Billie Delores Williamson, who died on Oct. 10, 2001.
He worked on his farm, for the State Highway Department, the City of Fulton, the Lost Canyon Resort and for the forestry service.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann O'Neal, Fulton.
He was preceded in death by one son, Wilber Carl Rehma Jr.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.
RICH
Harold "Richie" M. Rich, 38, Eldon, died Nov. 22, 2002, near Eldon, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Sept. 18, 1964, in Oxnard, Calif., a son of Harold M. and Lois M. Smith Rich, who survive in Eldon.
He was a painter for Cooperate Paint, Eldon, and a Baptist.
Other survivors include: one son, Harold "Trey" M. Rich III, Troupe, Texas ; one daughter, Kaylee Rich, Eldon; three sisters, Laurie Clark, Central City, Iowa, Tracy Rich-Alshouse, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Vicki Burnell, Tyler, Texas ; and one grandmother, Mildred Smith, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Lake Baptist Church, Osage Beach. The Rev. Kenyon Papen will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens, Osage Beach.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Baptist Church.
RUETHER
Agnes J. Beck Schneider Ruether, 80, Jefferson City, died Nov. 22, 2002, at Jefferson City Manor.
She was born Dec. 14, 1921, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Otto J. and Josephine Eggers Beck. She was married in 1940 to Joseph E. Schneider who preceded her in death.
She was married March 26, 1982, in Jefferson City, to Harry R. Ruether, who died on June 27, 2001.
She attended Trinity Lutheran School. She worked for Tweedie Show Factory from 1951 to 1965, and for Von Hoffman Press, Local 111B, from 1965 until retiring.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity Lutheran School Alumni Association.
Survivors include: three daughters, Betty J. Reinke, Anchorage, Alaska, Dorothy M. Tate, Nixa, and Ruth Schneider, Jefferson City; two step sons, Donald Ruether, Russellville and Gary Ruether, Jefferson City; three step daughters, Pamela Koestner, Russellville, Karen Phillips, Russellville, Brenda Wunderlich, Lohman; one half-brother, J.W. Bennett, Creve Coeur; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Houser-Milliard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Jerome Brownlee will officiate. Burial will be in the Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, or the Lutheran Hour Ministries.
SALLEE
Nancy Ann Sallee, 77, Camdenton, died Nov. 21, 2002, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
She was born Dec. 11, 1931, in Eldon, a daughter of Russell and Marguerite Eccles Foster. She was married Jan. 27, 1952, to Frank Sallee, who died Dec. 8, 1995.
She was a 1949 graduate of Camdenton High School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also attended William Woods College, Fulton.
She worked as a teacher in Macks Creek, at the Camden County Bank and served three terms as public administrator of Camden County. She was a member of Community Christian Church, Camdenton, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the University of Missouri Alumni Association, Chapter CH of P.E.O, Eldon, and the Missouri Association of Public Administrators.
Survivors include: two sons, Frank F. Sallee, Kansas City, and David Sallee, Lebanon; two daughters, Debby Cook, Columbia, and Linda Robbins, Monett; one brother, Joe V. Foster, Independence; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Community Christian Church, Camdenton. The Rev. Tracy Carroll and the Rev. Colleen Carroll will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. today at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Community Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
SCHAEFFERKOETTER
Jerry L. Schaefferkoetter, 52, Herrin, Ill., died Nov. 22, 2002, at Herrin Hospital.
He was born April 25, 1950, in Washington , a son of Louis Jr. and Maxine Gibson Schaefferkoetter. He was married May 6, 1973, to Mary L. Stienmetz, who survives at the home.
He attended Linn Technical College in Linn, Mo. He worked at Westinghouse (now ABB), Jefferson City, and Norge (now Maytag), Herrin. He was a member of the White Ash Free Will Baptist Church, Marion, Ill.
Other survivors include: one son, Lee Schaefferkoetter, San Diego; and one brother, Larry Schaefferkoetter, Linn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, Herrin.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
MILLS
Thelma Louise Mills, 84, Moscow Mills, formerly of Fulton, died Nov. 24, 2002, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Cherryvale, Kan., a daughter of Herman E. and Evalena Hitchcock Esch. She was married June 14, 1936, in Ottawa, Kan., to Arthur Robert Mills, who died Sept. 13, 1977.
She was a member of Moscow Mills Methodist Church. She was involved in the OATES program and was volunteer of the year in 1998. She was a committeewoman of OATES and a member of the Olive Owen Goers Club.
Survivors include: one son, Robert Mills, Pacatella, Idaho; two daughters, Evelyn Gay Richards, Fulton, and Marsha Mills, Moscow Mills; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Ed Powlishta will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
ROWAN
Florence Emaline Rowan, 94, Meta, died Nov. 23, 2002, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.
She was born Dec. 11, 1907, in Clearlake, Wash., a daughter of Jasper A. and Nancy Stubbs Baker. She was married June 12, 1929, in Liberty, to John Fred Rowan, who died June 1, 1989.
She co-owned and co-operated the IGA store in Meta for many years.
Survivors include: one foster daughter, Ruth Ehman, Raytown.
One son, Tommy Rowan, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Meta. The Rev. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, near Meta.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to Southside Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
